Voi avete seminato molto, e fatta tenue raccolta: avete mangiato, e non vi siete saziati: avete bevuto, e non vi siete esilarati: vi siete coperti, e non vi siete riscaldati: e colui, che ragunava i suoi salari gli ha messi in una tasca rotta.
Sembráis mucho, y encerráis poco; coméis, y no os hartáis; bebéis, y no os saciáis; os vestís, y no os calentáis; y el que anda á jornal recibe su jornal en trapo horadado.
