Car voici, je vais susciter les Caldéens, ce peuple cruel et impétueux, qui parcourt de vastes étendues de terre, pour s'emparer de demeures qui ne sont pas à lui.

Porque he aquí, yo levanto los Caldeos, gente amarga y presurosa, que camina por la anchura de la tierra para poseer las habitaciones ajenas.

For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
