21Als nun der HERR den lieblichen Duft roch, sagte er bei sich selbst: »Ich will hinfort den Erdboden nicht noch einmal um der Menschen willen verfluchen; denn das Sinnen und Trachten des Menschenherzens ist böse von Jugend auf; auch will ich hinfort nicht noch einmal alles Lebende sterben lassen, wie ich es getan habe.

21And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
