DIES ist das Verzeichnis der Nachkommen Adams: Als Gott den Adam erschuf, machte er ihn Gott ähnlich; (a) 1Mo 1:27

ESTE es el libro de las generaciones de Adam. El día en que crió Dios al hombre, á la semejanza de Dios lo hizo;

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

den hieß er Noah, indem er sprach: Dieser wird uns Erquickung schaffen von unsrer Arbeit und der Mühsal unsrer Hände durch den Acker, den der Herr verflucht hat.

Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.

And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
