1Ceci est l'histoire des générations de l'humanité. Lorsque Dieu créa l'être humain, il le fit à sa propre ressemblance.
2Il les créa mâle et femelle, les bénit et les appela l'homme, le jour de leur création.
3Adam, ayant vécu cent trente ans, produisit un être à son image et selon sa forme, et lui donna pour nom Seth.
4Après avoir engendré Seth, Adam vécut huit cents ans, engendrant des fils et des filles.
5Tout le temps qu'Adam vécut fut donc de neuf cent trente ans; et il mourut.
6Seth, ayant vécu cent cinq ans, engendra Énos.
7Après avoir engendré Énos, Seth vécut huit cent sept ans, engendrant des fils et des filles.
8Tous les jours de Seth furent de neuf cent douze ans, après quoi il mourut.
9Énos vécut quatre-vingt-dix ans, et engendra Kênân.
10Enos vécut, après avoir engendré Kênân, huit cent quinze ans; et il eut des fils et des filles.
11Tous les jours d'Énos furent de neuf cent cinq ans, après quoi il mourut.
12Kênân, ayant vécu soixante-dix ans, engendra Mahalalêl.
13Kènan vécut, après la naissance, de Mahalalêl, huit cent quarante ans, et eut des fils et des filles.
14Toute la vie de Kênân fut de neuf cent dix ans, après quoi il mourut.
15Mahalalêl, ayant vécu soixante-cinq ans, engendra Yéred.
16Mahalalél, après avoir engendré Yéred, vécut huit cent trente ans, et engendra des fils et des filles.
17Tous les jours de Mahalalèl furent de huit cent quatre-vingt-quinze ans, puis il mourut.
18Véred, ayant vécu cent soixante-deux ans, engendra Hénoc.
19Yéred vécut, après la naissance d'Hénoc, huit cents ans; il eut des fils et des filles.
20La vie entière de Yéred fut de neuf cent soixante-deux ans, après quoi il mourut.
21Hénoc vécut soixante-cinq ans, et engendra Mathusalem.
22Hénoc se conduisit selon Dieu, après avoir engendré Mathusalem, durant trois cents ans, et engendra des fils et des filles.
23Tous les jours d'Hénoc furent de trois cent soixante-cinq ans;
24Hénoc se conduisait selon Dieu, lorsqu'il disparut, Dieu l'ayant retiré du monde.
25Mathusalem, ayant vécu cent quatre-vingt-sept ans, engendra Lamec.
26Mathusalem vécut, après avoir engendré Lamec, sept cent quatre-vingt-deux ans; il eut encore des fils et des filles.
27Tous les jours de Mathusalem furent de neuf cent soixante-neuf ans, après quoi il mourut.
28Lamec, ayant vécu cent quatre-vingt-deux ans, engendra un fils.
29Il énonça son nom Noé, en disant: "Puisse-t-il nous soulager de notre tâche et du labeur de nos mains, causé par cette terre qu'a maudite l'Éternel!"
30Lamec vécut, après avoir engendré Noé, cinq cent quatre-vingt-quinze ans; il engendra des fils et des filles.
31Toute la vie de Lamec fut de sept cent soixante-dix-sept ans; et il mourut.
32Noé, étant âgé de cinq cents ans, engendra Sem, puis Cham et Japhet.

1ESTE es el libro de las generaciones de Adam. El día en que crió Dios al hombre, á la semejanza de Dios lo hizo;
2Varón y hembra los crió; y los bendijo, y llamó el nombre de ellos Adam, el día en que fueron criados.
3Y vivió Adam ciento y treinta años, y engendró un hijo á su semejanza, conforme á su imagen, y llamó su nombre Seth.
4Y fueron los días de Adam, después que engendró á Seth, ochocientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
5Y fueron todos los días que vivió Adam novecientos y treinta años, y murió.
6Y vivió Seth ciento y cinco años, y engendró á Enós.

15Y vivió Mahalaleel sesenta y cinco años, y engendró á Jared.
16Y vivió Mahalaleel, después que engendró á Jared, ochocientos y treinta años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
17Y fueron todos los días de Mahalaleel ochocientos noventa y cinco años; y murió.
18Y vivió Jared ciento sesenta y dos años, y engendró á Henoch.
19Y vivió Jared, después que engendró á Henoch, ochocientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
20Y fueron todos los días de Jared novecientos sesenta y dos años; y murió.
21Y vivió Henoch sesenta y cinco años, y engendró á Mathusalam.
22Y caminó Henoch con Dios, después que engendró á Mathusalam, trescientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
23Y fueron todos los días de Henoch trescientos sesenta y cinco años.
24Caminó, pues, Henoch con Dios, y desapareció, porque le llevó Dios.
25Y vivió Mathusalam ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró á Lamech.
26Y vivió Mathusalam, después que engendró á Lamech, setecientos ochenta y dos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
27Fueron, pues, todos los días de Mathusalam, novecientos sesenta y nueve años; y murió.
28Y vivió Lamech ciento ochenta y dos años, y engendró un hijo:
29Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.
30Y vivió Lamech, después que engendró á Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
31Y fueron todos los días de Lamech setecientos setenta y siete años; y murió.
32Y siendo Noé de quinientos años, engendró á Sem, Châm, y á Japhet.

1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

2He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.
3Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
4The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died.

15Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared.
16Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared eight hundred thirty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
17All of the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety-five years, then he died.
18Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.
19Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
20All of the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty-two years, then he died.
21Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.
22After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.
23All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years.
24Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.
25Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.
26Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.
28Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.
29He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
30Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.
32Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
