This †is an account of the births of Adam: In the day of God's preparing man, in the likeness of God He hath made him;

ESTE es el libro de las generaciones de Adam. El día en que crió Dios al hombre, á la semejanza de Dios lo hizo;

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

a male and a female He hath prepared them, and He blesseth them, and calleth their name Man, in the day of their being prepared.

Varón y hembra los crió; y los bendijo, y llamó el nombre de ellos Adam, el día en que fueron criados.

And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years, and he begetteth sons and daughters.

And Seth liveth an hundred and five years, and begetteth Enos.

And Seth liveth after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

And Enos liveth ninety years, and begetteth Cainan.

Y vivió Enós noventa años, y engendró á Cainán.

And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:

Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan.

And Enos liveth after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

Y vivió Enós después que engendró á Cainán, ochocientos y quince años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan eight hundred fifteen years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dieth.

And Cainan liveth seventy years, and begetteth Mahalaleel.

Y vivió Cainán setenta años, y engendró á Mahalaleel.

And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:

Kenan lived seventy years, then became the father of Mahalalel.

And Cainan liveth after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

Y vivió Cainán, después que engendró á Mahalaleel, ochocientos y cuarenta años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Mahalaleel liveth five and sixty years, and begetteth Jared.

Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared.

And Mahalaleel liveth after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

Y vivió Henoch sesenta y cinco años, y engendró á Mathusalam.

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.

And Enoch walketh habitually with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

Y caminó Henoch con Dios, después que engendró á Mathusalam, trescientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty and five years.

Y fueron todos los días de Henoch trescientos sesenta y cinco años.

And Enoch walketh habitually with God, and he is not, for God hath taken him.

Caminó, pues, Henoch con Dios, y desapareció, porque le llevó Dios.

And Methuselah liveth an hundred and eighty and seven years, and begetteth Lamech.

Y vivió Mathusalam ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró á Lamech.

And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.

And Methuselah liveth after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty and two years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

Y vivió Mathusalam, después que engendró á Lamech, setecientos ochenta y dos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:

And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty and nine years, and he dieth.

And Lamech liveth an hundred and eighty and two years, and begetteth a son,

and calleth his name Noah, saying, 'This †one doth comfort us concerning our work, and concerning the labour of our hands, because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.'

Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.

And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

And Lamech liveth after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety and five years, and begetteth sons and daughters.

Y vivió Lamech, después que engendró á Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy and seven years, and he dieth.

Y fueron todos los días de Lamech setecientos setenta y siete años; y murió.

And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begetteth Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Y siendo Noé de quinientos años, engendró á Sem, Châm, y á Japhet.

And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
