Génesis 5

This, is the record of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, In the likeness of God, made he him:

and Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel, eight hundred and forty years,—and begat sons and daughters;

and all the days of Kenan were, nine hundred and ten years,—and he died.

And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

and all the days of Enoch were, three hundred and sixty-five years;

Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.

And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

And Lamech lived, after he begat Noah, five hundred and ninety-five years,—and begat sons and daughters;
