1Dies ist das Buch der Nachkommen (Geschichte) Adams. Am Tag Gottes Erschaffens von Adam machte er ihn im Abbild (Bild, in der Ähnlichkeit) Gottes.
2Männlich und weiblich (Als Mann und Frau) erschuf er sie, und er segnete sie und nannte sie „Mensch“ (Adam) am Tag ihres Geschaffenwerdens.
3Und Adam war einhundertdreißig Jahre alt und er zeugte (wurde Vater) in seinem Abbild (ihm gleich) wie sein Bild und nannte ihn Set.
4Und es waren die Tage Adams nach der Zeugung Sets achthundert Jahre, und er zeugte (wurde Vater) Söhne und Töchter.
5Und es waren alle Tage Adams, die er lebte, neunhundertdreißig Jahre und er starb.
6Und Set war einhundertundfünf Jahre alt und er zeugte Enosch.
7Und {es war} Set lebte nach seiner Zeugung des Enosch noch achthundertsieben Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
8Und es waren alle Tage Sets neunhundertzwölf Jahre und er starb.
9Und Enosch war neunzig Jahre alt und er zeugte Kenan.
10Und {es war} Enosch lebte nach seiner Zeugung Kenans noch achthundertfünfzehn Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
11Und es waren alle Tage des Enosch neunhundertfünf Jahre und er starb.
12Und es war Kenan siebzig Jahre alt und er zeugte Mahalalel.
13Und {es war} Kenan lebte nach seiner Zeugung Mahalalels achthundertvierzig Jahre und er zeugte Töchter und Söhne.
14Und es waren alle Tage Kenans neunhundertzehn Jahre und er starb.
15Und es war Mahalalel fünfundsechzig Jahre alt und er zeugte Jered.
16Und {es war} Mahalalel lebte nach seiner Zeugung Jereds achthundertdreißig Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
17Und es waren alle Tage Mahalalels achthundertfünfundneunzig Jahre und er starb.
18Und es war Jered einhundertzweiundsechzig Jahre alt und er zeugte Henoch.
19Und {es war} Jered lebte nach seiner Zeugung Henochs achthundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
20Und es waren alle Tage Jereds neunhundertzweiundsechzig Jahre und er starb.
21Und es war Henoch fünfundsechzig Jahre alt und er zeugte Metuschelach.
22Und es ging (lebte, wandelte) beständig Henoch mit Gott nach seiner Zeugung Metuschelachs dreihundert Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
23Und es waren alle Tage Henochs dreihundertfünfundsechzig Jahre.
24Und Henoch ging beständig (wandelte) mit Gott und es gab ihn nicht mehr, denn genommen hatte ihn Gott.
25Und es war Metuschelach einhundertsiebenundachtzig Jahre alt und er zeugte Lamech.
26Und es war Metuschelach nach seiner Zeugung Lamechs siebenhundertzweiundachtzig Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
27Und es waren alle Tage Metuschelachs neunhundertneunundsechzig Jahre und er starb.
28Und es war Lamech einhundertzweiundachtzig Jahre alt und er zeugte einen Sohn.
29Und er nannte ihn Noach, indem er sagte (sagend): Dieser wird uns trösten von unserer Arbeit (Taten) und {unserer} Mühe unserer Hände von dem Erdboden, den JHWH verflucht hat.
30Und {es war} Lamech lebte nach seiner Zeugung Noachs fünfhundertfünfundneunzig Jahre und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.
31Und es waren alle Tage Lamechs siebenhundertsiebenundsiebzig Jahre und er starb.
32Und es war Noach ein Sohn von fünfhundert Jahren und Noach zeugte Sem, Ham und Jafet.

2Varón y hembra los crió; y los bendijo, y llamó el nombre de ellos Adam, el día en que fueron criados.
3Y vivió Adam ciento y treinta años, y engendró un hijo á su semejanza, conforme á su imagen, y llamó su nombre Seth.
4Y fueron los días de Adam, después que engendró á Seth, ochocientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
5Y fueron todos los días que vivió Adam novecientos y treinta años, y murió.

18Y vivió Jared ciento sesenta y dos años, y engendró á Henoch.

21Y vivió Henoch sesenta y cinco años, y engendró á Mathusalam.
22Y caminó Henoch con Dios, después que engendró á Mathusalam, trescientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
23Y fueron todos los días de Henoch trescientos sesenta y cinco años.
24Caminó, pues, Henoch con Dios, y desapareció, porque le llevó Dios.
25Y vivió Mathusalam ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró á Lamech.
26Y vivió Mathusalam, después que engendró á Lamech, setecientos ochenta y dos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
27Fueron, pues, todos los días de Mathusalam, novecientos sesenta y nueve años; y murió.
28Y vivió Lamech ciento ochenta y dos años, y engendró un hijo:
29Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.
30Y vivió Lamech, después que engendró á Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
31Y fueron todos los días de Lamech setecientos setenta y siete años; y murió.
32Y siendo Noé de quinientos años, engendró á Sem, Châm, y á Japhet.

1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

2He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.
3Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
4The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died.
6Seth lived one hundred five years, then became the father of Enosh.

18Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.
19Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

21Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.
22After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.
23All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years.
24Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.
25Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.
26Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.
28Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.
29He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
30Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.
32Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
