1Das ist die Urkunde der Geschlechterfolge Adams: Damals, als Gott den Adam schuf, machte er ihn in Gottes Ähnlichkeit.
2Männlich und weiblich schuf er sie. Dann segnete er sie und hieß sie "Mensch", damals, als sie geschaffen worden waren.
3Und Adam war 130 Jahre alt; da zeugte er in seiner Ähnlichkeit nach seinem Bild einen Sohn und hieß ihn Set.
4Der Tage Adams waren es nach Sets Zeugung 800 Jahre und er zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
5Und aller Tage Adams waren 930 Jahre. Da starb er.
6Set war 105 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Enos.
7Und Set lebte nach des Enos Zeugung 807 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
8Und aller Tage Sets waren 912 Jahre; da starb er.
9Enos war 90 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Kenan.
10Und Enos lebte nach Kenans Zeugung 815 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
11Und aller Tage des Enos waren 905 Jahre; da starb er.
12Und Kenan war 70 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Mahalalel.
13Und Kenan lebte nach Mahalalels Zeugung 840 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
14Und aller Tage Kenans waren 910 Jahre; da starb er.
15Und Mahalalel war 65 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Jered.
16Und Mahalalel lebte nach Jereds Zeugung 830 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
17Und aller Tage Mahalalels waren 895 Jahre; da starb er.
18Und Jered war 162 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Henoch.
19Und Jered lebte nach Henochs Zeugung 800 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
20Und aller Tage Jereds waren 962 Jahre; da starb er.
21Und Henoch war 65 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Metuselach.
22Nach Metuselachs Zeugung wandelte Henoch mit Gott 300 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
23Und aller Tage Henochs waren 365 Jahre.
24Und Henoch wandelte mit Gott, und plötzlich war er nicht mehr da, weil ihn Gott weggenommen hatte.
25Und Metuselach war 187 Jahre alt; da zeugte er Lamech.
26Und Metuselach lebte nach Lamechs Zeugung 782 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
27Und aller Tage Metuselachs waren 969 Jahre; da starb er.
28Und Lamech war 182 Jahre alt; da zeugte er einen Sohn.
29Und er hieß seinen Sohn Noe und sprach: "Dieser soll uns Trost bringen, nach unserer Arbeit und unserer Hände Mühen, aus eben diesem Boden, den der Herr verflucht hat."
30Und Lamech lebte nach Noes Zeugung 595 Jahre und zeugte noch Söhne und Töchter.
31Und aller Tage Lamechs waren 777 Jahre; da starb er.
32Und Noe war 500 Jahre alt; da zeugte Noe Sem, Cham und Japhet.

24Caminó, pues, Henoch con Dios, y desapareció, porque le llevó Dios.
25Y vivió Mathusalam ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró á Lamech.
26Y vivió Mathusalam, después que engendró á Lamech, setecientos ochenta y dos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
27Fueron, pues, todos los días de Mathusalam, novecientos sesenta y nueve años; y murió.
28Y vivió Lamech ciento ochenta y dos años, y engendró un hijo:
29Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.
30Y vivió Lamech, después que engendró á Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años: y engendró hijos é hijas.
31Y fueron todos los días de Lamech setecientos setenta y siete años; y murió.

1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

2He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.
3Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
4The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.
5All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died.
6Seth lived one hundred five years, then became the father of Enosh.

18Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.

22After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.
23All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years.
24Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.
25Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.
26Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
27All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.
28Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.
29He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
30Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.
31All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.
32Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
