1QUESTA è la descrizione delle generazioni di Adamo. Nel giorno che Iddio creò l'uomo, egli lo fece alla sua somiglianza.

2Egli li creò maschio e femmina, e li benedisse, e pose loro nome UOMO, nel giorno che furono creati.

3Ora Adamo, essendo vivuto centotrent'anni, generò un figliuolo alla sua somiglianza, secondo la sua immagine; e gli pose nome Set.

4E il tempo che visse Adamo, dopo ch'ebbe generato Set, fu ottocent'anni; e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

5Così tutto il tempo che visse Adamo fu novecentrent'anni; poi morì.

6E Set, essendo vivuto centocinque anni, generò Enos.

7E Set, dopo che ebbe generato Enos, visse ottocensette anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

8Così tutto il tempo che visse Set fu novecendodici anni; poi morì.

9Ed Enos, essendo vivuto novant'anni, generò Chenan.

10Ed Enos, dopo ch'ebbe generato Chenan, visse ottocenquindici anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

11Così tutto il tempo che visse Enos fu novecencinque anni; poi morì.

12E Chenan, essendo vivuto settant'anni, generò Mahalaleel.

13E Chenan, dopo ch'ebbe generato Mahalaleel, visse ottocenquarant'anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

14Così tutto il tempo che Chenan visse fu novecendieci anni; poi morì.

15E Mahalaleel, essendo vivuto sessantacinque anni, generò Iared.

16E Mahalaleel, dopo ch'ebbe generato Iared, visse ottocentrent'anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

17Così tutto il tempo che Mahalaleel visse fu ottocennovantacinque anni; poi morì.

18E Iared, essendo vivuto censessantadue anni, generò Enoc.

19E Iared, dopo ch'ebbe generato Enoc, visse ottocent'anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

20Così tutto il tempo che Iared visse fu novecensessantadue anni; poi morì.

21Ed Enoc essendo vivuto sessantacinque anni, generò Metusela.

22Ed Enoc, dopo ch'ebbe generato Metusela, camminò con Dio per lo spazio di trecent'anni e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

23Così, tutto il tempo che Enoc visse fu trecensessantacinque anni.

24E dopo che Enoc fu camminato con Dio, non si vide più; perciocchè Iddio lo prese.

25E Metusela, essendo vivuto centottantasette anni, generò Lamec.

26E Metusela, dopo ch'ebbe generato Lamec, visse settecentottantadue anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

27Così, tutto il tempo che Metusela visse fu novecensessantanove anni; poi morì.

28E Lamec, essendo vivuto centottantadue anni, generò un figliuolo.

29E gli pose nome Noè, dicendo: Costui ci consolerà della nostra opera, e della fatica delle nostre mani, la quale portiamo per cagion della terra che il Signore ha maladetta.

30E Lamec, dopo ch'ebbe generato Noè, visse cinquecennovantacinque anni, e generò figliuoli e figliuole.

31Così tutto il tempo che Lamec visse fu settecensettantasette anni; poi morì.

32E Noè, essendo di età di cinquecent'anni, generò Sem, Cam e Iafet.

1ESTE es el libro de las generaciones de Adam. El día en que crió Dios al hombre, á la semejanza de Dios lo hizo;

2Varón y hembra los crió; y los bendijo, y llamó el nombre de ellos Adam, el día en que fueron criados.

3Y vivió Adam ciento y treinta años, y engendró un hijo á su semejanza, conforme á su imagen, y llamó su nombre Seth.

4Y fueron los días de Adam, después que engendró á Seth, ochocientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

5Y fueron todos los días que vivió Adam novecientos y treinta años, y murió.

6Y vivió Seth ciento y cinco años, y engendró á Enós.

21Y vivió Henoch sesenta y cinco años, y engendró á Mathusalam.

22Y caminó Henoch con Dios, después que engendró á Mathusalam, trescientos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

23Y fueron todos los días de Henoch trescientos sesenta y cinco años.

24Caminó, pues, Henoch con Dios, y desapareció, porque le llevó Dios.

25Y vivió Mathusalam ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró á Lamech.

26Y vivió Mathusalam, después que engendró á Lamech, setecientos ochenta y dos años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

27Fueron, pues, todos los días de Mathusalam, novecientos sesenta y nueve años; y murió.

28Y vivió Lamech ciento ochenta y dos años, y engendró un hijo:

29Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.

30Y vivió Lamech, después que engendró á Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años: y engendró hijos é hijas.

31Y fueron todos los días de Lamech setecientos setenta y siete años; y murió.

32Y siendo Noé de quinientos años, engendró á Sem, Châm, y á Japhet.

1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:

7And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

28And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

30And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

32And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

22After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

24Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.

25Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.

26Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

27All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.

28Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.

29He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

30Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

31All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.

32Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
