Und er gab ihm den Namen Noah, indem er sprach: Dieser wird uns trösten über unsere Arbeit und über die Mühe unserer Hände wegen des Erdbodens, den Jehova verflucht hat.

Y llamó su nombre Noé, diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras, y del trabajo de nuestras manos, á causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo.

And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.

He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”
