Génesis 50

ALS nun die Brüder Josephs sahen, dass ihr Vater gestorben war, sprachen sie: Wie? wenn nun Joseph feindselig gegen uns auftritt und uns all das Böse vergilt, das wir ihm angetan haben?

Y viendo los hermanos de José que su padre era muerto, dijeron: Quizá nos aborrecerá José, y nos dará el pago de todo el mal que le hicimos.

And when Joseph’s brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite us all the evil which we did unto him.

When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “It may be that Joseph will hate us, and will fully pay us back for all the evil which we did to him.”
