Lo que habiendo visto los habitantes de la tierra de Canaán, dijeron: Gran duelo es éste para los egipcios; y a consecuencia de esto se llamó aquel sitio, Llanto de Egipto.
Y viendo los moradores de la tierra, los Cananeos, el llanto en la era de Atad, dijeron: Llanto grande es este de los Egipcios: por eso fué llamado su nombre Abelmizraim, que está á la otra parte del Jordán.
And when the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning in the floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning to the Egyptians: wherefore the name of it was called Abel-mizraim, which is beyond Jordan.
