Génesis 4

Adão teve relações com Eva, sua mulher. Ela concebeu e deu à luz Caim. Ela disse: "Eu tive um filho homem com ajuda de Deus Yahweh".

Y CONOCIÓ Adam á su mujer Eva, la cual concibió y parió á Caín, y dijo: Adquirido he varón por Jehová.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man with the LORD’s help.”

Então, ela deu à luz seu irmão Abel. Abel tornou-se um pastor de ovelhas, mas Caim lavrava a terra.

Y después parió á su hermano Abel. Y fué Abel pastor de ovejas, y Caín fué labrador de la tierra.

And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Again she gave birth, to Cain’s brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Passado algum tempo, Caim trouxe alguns frutos da terra e os ofereceu a Deus Yahweh.

Y aconteció andando el tiempo, que Caín trajo del fruto de la tierra una ofrenda á Jehová.

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

As time passed, Cain brought an offering to the LORD from the fruit of the ground.

E Abel trouxe as primícias e gorduras do seu rebanho. Yahweh Se agradou de Abel e de sua oferta,

Y Abel trajo también de los primogénitos de sus ovejas, y de su grosura. Y miró Jehová con agrado á Abel y á su ofrenda;

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Abel also brought some of the firstborn of his flock and of its fat. The LORD respected Abel and his offering,

mas Ele não se agradou de Caim e da sua oferta. Assim, Caim ficou muito furioso e com o semblante caído.

Mas no miró propicio á Caín y á la ofrenda suya. Y ensañóse Caín en gran manera, y decayó su semblante.

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

but he didn’t respect Cain and his offering. Cain was very angry, and the expression on his face fell.

Yahweh disse para Caim: "Por que tu estás furioso e por que teu semblante está caído?

Entonces Jehová dijo á Caín: ¿Por qué te has ensañado, y por qué se ha inmutado tu rostro?

And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

The LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why has the expression of your face fallen?

Se tu procederes como é correto, não serás aceito? Porém, se tu não procederes como é correto, o pecado espreita à porta e deseja te controlar, mas precisas dominá-lo".

Si bien hicieres, ¿no serás ensalzado? y si no hicieres bien, el pecado está á la puerta: con todo esto, á ti será su deseo, y tú te enseñorearás de él.

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

If you do well, won’t it be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”

Caim falou para Abel, seu irmão: "Vamos ao campo". Enquanto eles estavam no campo, Caim levantou-se contra Abel, seu irmão, e o matou.

Y habló Caín á su hermano Abel: y aconteció que estando ellos en el campo, Caín se levantó contra su hermano Abel, y le mató.

And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Cain said to Abel, his brother, “Let’s go into the field.” While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and killed him.

Então, Yahweh disse para Caim: "Onde está Abel, teu irmão?". Ele disse: "Eu não sei. Sou eu o guardador do meu irmão?".

Y Jehová dijo á Caín: ¿Dónde está Abel tu hermano? Y él respondió: No sé; ¿soy yo guarda de mi hermano?

And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

The LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel, your brother?” He said, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”

Yahweh disse: "O que fizeste? Do solo, a voz do sangue do teu irmão está clamando a Mim.

Y él le dijo: ¿Qué has hecho? La voz de la sangre de tu hermano clama á mí desde la tierra.

And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

The LORD said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries to me from the ground.

Agora és maldito pelo solo que escancarou a sua boca para receber o sangue do teu irmão que está em tuas mãos.

Ahora pues, maldito seas tú de la tierra que abrió su boca para recibir la sangre de tu hermano de tu mano:

And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

Now you are cursed because of the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Quando tu trabalhares, o solo não vai produzir. Serás um fugitivo e errante pela terra".

Cuando labrares la tierra, no te volverá á dar su fuerza: errante y extranjero serás en la tierra.

When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

From now on, when you till the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”

Caim disse a Yahweh: "Minha punição é maior do que eu posso suportar.

Y dijo Caín á Jehová: Grande es mi iniquidad para ser perdonada.

And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Cain said to the LORD, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.

De fato, hoje Tu me expulsas deste solo e eu ficarei afastado da Tua presença. Eu serei um fugitivo e errante pela terra; e quem comigo encontrar, poderá matar-me.

He aquí me echas hoy de la faz de la tierra, y de tu presencia me esconderé; y seré errante y extranjero en la tierra; y sucederá que cualquiera que me hallare, me matará.

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

Behold, you have driven me out today from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me.”

E disse-lhe Yahweh: "Qualquer que matar Caim será vingado sete vezes". Então, Yahweh colocou um sinal sobre Caim, para que não fosse morto por quem o encontrasse.

Y respondióle Jehová: Cierto que cualquiera que matare á Caín, siete veces será castigado. Entonces Jehová puso señal en Caín, para que no lo hiriese cualquiera que le hallara.

And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

The LORD said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” The LORD appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.

Retirou-se Caim da presença de Yahweh e viveu na terra de Node, a leste do Éden.

Y salió Caín de delante de Jehová, y habitó en tierra de Nod, al oriente de Edén.

And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Cain left the LORD’s presence, and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

Caim conheceu sua mulher, que concebeu e deu à luz Enoque. Caim edificou uma cidade e pôs o nome de seu filho Enoque.

Y conoció Caín á su mujer, la cual concibió y parió á Henoch: y edificó una ciudad, y llamó el nombre de la ciudad del nombre de su hijo, Henoch.

And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Cain knew his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Enoch. He built a city, and named the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

De Enoque, nasceu Irade. Irade gerou Meujael. Meujael gerou Metusael. Metusael gerou Lameque.

Y á Henoch nació Irad, é Irad engendró á Mehujael, y Mehujael engendró á Methusael, y Methusael engendró á Lamech.

And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

Irad was born to Enoch. Irad became the father of Mehujael. Mehujael became the father of Methushael. Methushael became the father of Lamech.

Lameque tomou para si duas esposas: o nome de uma era Ada e o nome da outra era Zila.

Y tomó para sí Lamech dos mujeres; el nombre de la una fué Ada, y el nombre de la otra Zilla.

And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

Lamech took two wives: the name of the first one was Adah, and the name of the second one was Zillah.

Ada deu à luz Jabal. Ele foi o pai daqueles que habitam em tendas e possuem gado.

Y Ada parió á Jabal, el cual fué padre de los que habitan en tiendas, y crían ganados.

And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.

Adah gave birth to Jabal, who was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock.

Seu irmão chamava-se Jubal. Ele foi o pai daqueles que tocam harpa e flauta.

Y el nombre de su hermano fué Jubal, el cual fué padre de todos los que manejan arpa y órgano.

And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

His brother’s name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.

Zila também teve um filho, Tubal-Caim, fabricante de ferramentas de bronze e ferro. A irmã de Tubal-Caim era Naamá.

Y Zilla también parió á Tubal-Caín, acicalador de toda obra de metal y de hierro: y la hermana de Tubal-Caín fué Naama.

And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.

Zillah also gave birth to Tubal Cain, the forger of every cutting instrument of bronze and iron. Tubal Cain’s sister was Naamah.

Lameque disse para suas esposas: "Ada e Zila, escutai a minha voz, mulheres de Lameque; ouvi as minhas palavras, pois eu matei um homem por ferir-me, um jovem rapaz por pisar-me.

Y dijo Lamech á sus mujeres: Ada y Zilla, oid mi voz; mujeres de Lamech, escuchad mi dicho: que varón mataré por mi herida, y mancebo por mi golpe:

And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.

Lamech said to his wives, “Adah and Zillah, hear my voice. You wives of Lamech, listen to my speech, for I have slain a man for wounding me, a young man for bruising me.

Se Caim é vingado sete vezes, Lameque será vingado setenta e sete vezes".

Si siete veces será vengado Caín, Lamech en verdad setenta veces siete lo será.

If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

If Cain will be avenged seven times, truly Lamech seventy-seven times.”

Tornou Adão a ter relações com sua mulher e ela gerou outro filho, a quem pôs o nome de Sete; e ela disse: "Deus me deu outro filho no lugar de Abel, pois Caim o matou".

Y conoció de nuevo Adam á su mujer, la cual parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Seth: Porque Dios (dijo ella) me ha sustituído otra simiente en lugar de Abel, á quien mató Caín.

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”

De Sete, também nasceu um filho e ele lhe deu o nome de Enos. Foi nesse tempo em que as pessoas começaram a invocar o nome de Yahweh.

Y á Seth también le nació un hijo, y llamó su nombre Enós. Entonces los hombres comenzaron á llamarse del nombre de Jehová.

And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

A son was also born to Seth, and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call on the LORD’s name.
