Adam aber erkannte wiederum sein Weib, und sie gebar einen Sohn. Den nannte sie Set. "Denn", sprach sie, "Gott hat mir an Abels Stelle andere Nachkommen geschenkt, weil jenen Kain erschlagen hatte."

Y conoció de nuevo Adam á su mujer, la cual parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Seth: Porque Dios (dijo ella) me ha sustituído otra simiente en lugar de Abel, á quien mató Caín.

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”
