Und Adam erkannte wiederum seine Frau, und sie gebar einen Sohn und gab ihm den Namen Seth: Denn Gott hat mir einen anderen Nachkommen gesetzt an Stelle Abels, weil Kain ihn erschlagen hat.

Y conoció de nuevo Adam á su mujer, la cual parió un hijo, y llamó su nombre Seth: Porque Dios (dijo ella) me ha sustituído otra simiente en lugar de Abel, á quien mató Caín.

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Seth, saying, “for God has given me another child instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”
