Incontrolable como una corriente de agua que corre, no tendrás la preeminencia, porque subiste a la cama de tu padre. Entonces la profanaste; tú fuiste hasta mi cama.
Corriente como las aguas, no seas el principal; por cuanto subiste al lecho de tu padre: entonces te envileciste, subiendo á mi estrado.
Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.

Judá es un cachorro de león. Mi hijo, has subido desde tus víctimas. Él se encorvó, se agachó como un león, como una leona. ¿Quién se atrevería a despertarlo?
Cachorro de león Judá: de la presa subiste, hijo mío: encorvóse, echóse como león, así como león viejo; ¿quién lo despertará?
Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

El cetro no se apartará de Judá, ni el bastón de líder saldrá de entre sus pies, hasta que venga Siloh. Las naciones le obedecerán.
No será quitado el cetro de Judá, y el legislador de entre sus piés, hasta que venga Shiloh; y á él se congregarán los pueblos.
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Él ve un buen lugar de descanso y la tierra placentera. Él doblará su hombro a la carga y se volverá en sirviente para la tarea.

Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

Los arqueros lo atacarán y le dispararán y lo acosarán.
Y causáronle amargura, y asaeteáronle, y aborreciéronle los archeros:

Pero su arco se mantendrá firme, y sus manos serán diestras debido a las manos del Poderoso de Jacob, debido al nombre del Pastor, la Roca de Israel.
Mas su arco quedó en fortaleza, y los brazos de sus manos se corroboraron por las manos del Fuerte de Jacob, (de allí el pastor, y la piedra de Israel,)
But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

Las bendiciones de tu padre son más grandes que las bendiciones de las antiguas montañas o las cosas deseables de las antiguas colinas. Que ellas estén sobre la cabeza de José, incluso sobre la corona de la cabeza del príncipe de sus hermanos.
Las bendiciones de tu padre fueron mayores que las bendiciones de mis progenitores: hasta el término de los collados eternos serán sobre la cabeza de José, y sobre la mollera del Nazareo de sus hermanos.
The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Benjamín es un lobo hambriento. En la mañana devorará la presa, y en la tarde dividirá el botín.

Estas son las doce tribus de Israel. Esto es lo que su padre les dijo cuando les bendijo. A cada uno bendijo con una bendición apropiada.

Cuando Jacob terminó de darle estas instrucciones a sus hijos, él haló sus pies sobre la cama, respiró su último aliento, y se fue con su pueblo.
Y como acabó Jacob de dar órdenes á sus hijos, encogió sus pies en la cama, y espiró: y fué reunido con sus padres.
And when Jacob had made an end of commanding his sons, he gathered up his feet into the bed, and yielded up the ghost, and was gathered unto his people.
