Ruben, toi, mon premier-né, Ma force et les prémices de ma vigueur, Supérieur en dignité et supérieur en puissance,
Rubén, tú eres mi primogénito, mi fortaleza, y el principio de mi vigor; principal en dignidad, principal en poder.
Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:
“Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, excelling in dignity, and excelling in power.
Impétueux comme les eaux, tu n’auras pas la prééminence! Car tu es monté sur la couche de ton père, Tu as souillé ma couche en y montant.
Corriente como las aguas, no seas el principal; por cuanto subiste al lecho de tu padre: entonces te envileciste, subiendo á mi estrado.
Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father’s bed; then defiledst thou it: he went up to my couch.
Boiling over like water, you shall not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then defiled it. He went up to my couch.

En su secreto no entre mi alma, ni mi honra se junte en su compañía; que en su furor mataron varón, y en su voluntad arrancaron muro.
O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.

Juda est un jeune lion. Tu reviens du carnage, mon fils! Il ploie les genoux, il se couche comme un lion, Comme une lionne: qui le fera lever?
Cachorro de león Judá: de la presa subiste, hijo mío: encorvóse, echóse como león, así como león viejo; ¿quién lo despertará?
Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

Le sceptre ne s’éloignera point de Juda, Ni le bâton souverain d’entre ses pieds, Jusqu’à ce que vienne le Schilo, Et que les peuples lui obéissent.
No será quitado el cetro de Judá, y el legislador de entre sus piés, hasta que venga Shiloh; y á él se congregarán los pueblos.
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Y vió que el descanso era bueno, y que la tierra era deleitosa; y bajó su hombro para llevar, y sirvió en tributo.
And he saw that rest was good, and the land that it was pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant unto tribute.

Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

Ramo fructífero José, ramo fructífero junto á fuente, cuyos vástagos se extienden sobre el muro.
Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches run over the wall:

Ils l’ont provoqué, ils ont lancé des traits; Les archers l’ont poursuivi de leur haine.

C’est l’œuvre du Dieu de ton père, qui t’aidera; C’est l’œuvre du Tout-Puissant, qui te bénira Des bénédictions des cieux en haut, Des bénédictions des eaux en bas, Des bénédictions des mamelles et du sein maternel.

Les bénédictions de ton père s’élèvent Au-dessus des bénédictions de mes pères Jusqu’à la cime des collines éternelles: Qu’elles soient sur la tête de Joseph, Sur le sommet de la tête du prince de ses frères!
Las bendiciones de tu padre fueron mayores que las bendiciones de mis progenitores: hasta el término de los collados eternos serán sobre la cabeza de José, y sobre la mollera del Nazareo de sus hermanos.
The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Benjamin est un loup qui déchire; Le matin, il dévore la proie, Et le soir, il partage le butin.

Ce sont là tous ceux qui forment les douze tribus d’Israël. Et c’est là ce que leur dit leur père, en les bénissant. Il les bénit, chacun selon sa bénédiction.
Todos estos fueron las doce tribus de Israel: y esto fué lo que su padre les dijo, y bendíjolos; á cada uno por su bendición los bendijo.

dans la caverne du champ de Macpéla, vis-à-vis de Mamré, dans le pays de Canaan. C’est le champ qu’Abraham a acheté d’Éphron, le Héthien, comme propriété sépulcrale.
