Meine Seele komme nicht in ihren Kreis und meine Ehre vereine sich nicht mit ihrer Versammlung! Denn in ihrem Zorn haben sie Männer gemordet und in ihrer Willkür Ochsen verstümmelt.

En su secreto no entre mi alma, ni mi honra se junte en su compañía; que en su furor mataron varón, y en su voluntad arrancaron muro.

O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

My soul, don’t come into their council. My glory, don’t be united to their assembly; for in their anger they killed men. In their self-will they hamstrung cattle.
