Non abbia parte ai loro consigli l'anima mia, e la mia gloria non intervenga alle loro adunanze; perché nel loro furore uccisero l'uomo, e nel loro mal talento atterrarono la muraglia.

En su secreto no entre mi alma, ni mi honra se junte en su compañía; que en su furor mataron varón, y en su voluntad arrancaron muro.

O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

My soul, don’t come into their council. My glory, don’t be united to their assembly; for in their anger they killed men. In their self-will they hamstrung cattle.
