Ruben mio primogenito, tu mia fortezza, e principio del mio dolore: il primo ai doni, il più grande in potestà.

Rubén, tú eres mi primogénito, mi fortaleza, y el principio de mi vigor; principal en dignidad, principal en poder.

Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:

“Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, excelling in dignity, and excelling in power.
