Génesis 47

So ging denn Joseph hin und erstattete dem Pharao Bericht mit den Worten: »Mein Vater und meine Brüder sind mit ihrem Kleinvieh, ihren Rindern und ihrem gesamten Besitz aus dem Lande Kanaan angekommen und befinden sich jetzt im Lande Gosen.«

Y JOSÉ vino, é hizo saber á Faraón, y dijo: Mi padre y mis hermanos, y sus ovejas y sus vacas, con todo lo que tienen, han venido de la tierra de Canaán, y he aquí, están en la tierra de Gosén.

Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

Then Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, and said, “My father and my brothers, with their flocks, their herds, and all that they own, have come out of the land of Canaan; and behold, they are in the land of Goshen.”

Er hatte aber aus der Gesamtzahl seiner Brüder fünf Männer mitgebracht, die er dem Pharao vorstellte.

Y de los postreros de sus hermanos tomó cinco varones, y presentólos delante de Faraón.

And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

Als nun der Pharao die Brüder Josephs fragte: »Was ist euer Gewerbe?«, antworteten sie dem Pharao: »Deine Knechte sind Hirten von Kleinvieh, wir wie auch schon unsere Väter.«

Y Faraón dijo á sus hermanos: ¿Cuál es vuestro oficio? Y ellos respondieron á Faraón: Pastores de ovejas son tus siervos, así nosotros como nuestros padres.

And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

Pharaoh said to his brothers, “What is your occupation?” They said to Pharaoh, “Your servants are shepherds, both we, and our fathers.”

Weiter sagten sie zum Pharao: »Wir sind hergekommen, um eine Zeitlang als Fremdlinge hier im Lande zu wohnen, weil deine Knechte keine Weide mehr für ihr Kleinvieh haben: so schwer liegt die Hungersnot auf dem Lande Kanaan. Laß nun doch deine Knechte im Lande Gosen wohnen!«

Dijeron además á Faraón: Por morar en esta tierra hemos venido; porque no hay pasto para las ovejas de tus siervos, pues el hambre es grave en la tierra de Canaán: por tanto, te rogamos ahora que habiten tus siervos en la tierra de Gosén.

They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

They also said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live as foreigners in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks. For the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

Da sagte der Pharao zu Joseph: »Dein Vater und deine Brüder sind zu dir gekommen:

Entonces Faraón habló á José, diciendo: Tu padre y tus hermanos han venido á ti;

And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

das Land Ägypten steht dir zur Verfügung; laß deinen Vater und deine Brüder im besten Teil des Landes wohnen! Sie dürfen im Lande Gosen wohnen; und wenn du siehst, daß tüchtige Leute unter ihnen sind, so mache sie zu Oberhirten über meine eigenen Herden!«

La tierra de Egipto delante de ti está; en lo mejor de la tierra haz habitar á tu padre y á tus hermanos; habiten en la tierra de Gosén; y si entiendes que hay entre ellos hombres eficaces, ponlos por mayorales del ganado mío.

The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

The land of Egypt is before you. Make your father and your brothers dwell in the best of the land. Let them dwell in the land of Goshen. If you know any able men among them, then put them in charge of my livestock.”

Hierauf ließ Joseph auch seinen Vater Jakob eintreten und stellte ihn dem Pharao vor; Jakob aber begrüßte den Pharao mit einem Segenswunsch.

Y José introdujo á su padre, y presentólo delante de Faraón; y Jacob bendijo á Faraón.

Da sagte der Pharao zu Jakob: »Wie groß ist die Zahl deiner Lebensjahre?«

Y dijo Faraón á Jacob: ¿Cuántos son los días de los años de tu vida?

And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

Jakob antwortete dem Pharao: »Die Zahl der Jahre meiner Wanderschaft beträgt hundertunddreißig Jahre; gering an Zahl und mühselig sind die Tage meiner Lebensjahre gewesen und reichen nicht an die Tage der Lebensjahre meiner Väter in der Zeit ihrer Wanderschaft heran.«

Y Jacob respondió á Faraón: Los días de los años de mi peregrinación son ciento treinta años; pocos y malos han sido los días de los años de mi vida, y no han llegado á los días de los años de la vida de mis padres en los días de su peregrinación.

And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are one hundred thirty years. The days of the years of my life have been few and evil. They have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.”

Hierauf entfernte sich Jakob vom Pharao mit einem Segenswunsch für ihn.

Joseph aber wies seinem Vater und seinen Brüdern Wohnsitze an und verlieh ihnen eigenen Grundbesitz in Ägypten, im besten Teile des Landes, nämlich in der Landschaft Ramses, wie der Pharao befohlen hatte.

Así José hizo habitar á su padre y á sus hermanos, y dióles posesión en la tierra de Egipto, en lo mejor de la tierra, en la tierra de Rameses como mandó Faraón.

Es gab aber kein Brotkorn im ganzen Lande; denn die Hungersnot war überaus drückend, so daß Ägypten ebenso wie das Land Kanaan infolge der Hungersnot am Verschmachten war.

Y acabado el dinero de la tierra de Egipto y de la tierra de Canaán, vino todo Egipto á José diciendo: Danos pan: ¿por qué moriremos delante de ti, por haberse acabado el dinero?

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph, and said, “Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For our money fails.”

Joseph antwortete: »Bringt euer Vieh her, so will ich euch Brotkorn als Entgelt für euer Vieh geben, wenn ihr kein Geld mehr habt.«

Y José dijo: Dad vuestros ganados, y yo os daré por vuestros ganados, si se ha acabado el dinero.

And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

Joseph said, “Give me your livestock; and I will give you food for your livestock, if your money is gone.”

Da brachten sie ihr Vieh zu Joseph, und dieser gab ihnen Brotkorn als Entgelt für die Pferde, für die Schaf- und Rinderherden und für die Esel; so versorgte er sie in jenem Jahr mit Brotkorn um den Preis ihres gesamten Viehs.

Y ellos trajeron sus ganados á José; y José les dió alimentos por caballos, y por el ganado de las ovejas, y por el ganado de las vacas, y por asnos: y sustentólos de pan por todos sus ganados aquel año.

And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

Als nun dieses Jahr zu Ende war, kamen sie im nächsten Jahre wieder zu ihm und sagten: »Wir können es unserm Herrn nicht verhehlen, daß das Geld zu Ende ist und, weil auch unser Bestand an Vieh schon an unsern Herrn übergegangen ist, nichts mehr zur Verfügung unseres Herrn übriggeblieben ist als unser Leib und unsere Äcker.

When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

Warum sollen wir vor deinen Augen zugrunde gehen, wir samt unserm Landbesitz? Kaufe uns und unsern Landbesitz um Brotkorn, so wollen wir samt unserm Landbesitz dem Pharao leibeigen sein; aber gib uns Saatkorn, damit wir am Leben bleiben und nicht verhungern und die Felder nicht zur Wüste werden!«

¿Por qué moriremos delante de tus ojos, así nosotros como nuestra tierra? Cómpranos á nosotros y á nuestra tierra por pan, y seremos nosotros y nuestra tierra siervos de Faraón: y danos simiente para que vivamos y no muramos, y no sea asolada la tierra.

Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants to Pharaoh. Give us seed, that we may live, and not die, and that the land won’t be desolate.”

So kaufte denn Joseph alles Ackerland der Ägypter für den Pharao auf; denn die Ägypter verkauften ein jeder seine Felder, weil die Hungersnot schwer auf ihnen lastete; und so wurde das Land Eigentum des Pharaos.

Entonces compró José toda la tierra de Egipto para Faraón; pues los Egipcios vendieron cada uno sus tierras, porque se agravó el hambre sobre ellos: y la tierra vino á ser de Faraón.

Und was die Bevölkerung betrifft, so machte er sie leibeigen von einem Ende des ägyptischen Gebiets bis zum andern.

Y al pueblo hízolo pasar á las ciudades desde el un cabo del término de Egipto hasta el otro cabo.

Nur die Ländereien der Priester kaufte er nicht an; denn die Priester bezogen ein festes Einkommen von seiten des Pharaos und lebten von ihrem festen Einkommen, das der Pharao ihnen angewiesen hatte; deshalb brauchten sie ihre Ländereien nicht zu verkaufen.

Joseph aber sagte zum Volk: »Ich habe nunmehr euch und eure Äcker für den Pharao angekauft; hier habt ihr Saatkorn zum Besäen der Äcker!

Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

Aber von dem Ertrage müßt ihr ein Fünftel an den Pharao abgeben; die übrigen vier Fünftel dagegen sollt ihr behalten zur Aussaat für die Felder sowie zur Nahrung für euch und euer Gesinde und zur Ernährung eurer Familien.«

Y será que de los frutos daréis el quinto á Faraón, y las cuatro partes serán vuestras para sembrar las tierras, y para vuestro mantenimiento, y de los que están en vuestras casas, y para que coman vuestros niños.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

It will happen at the harvests, that you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four parts will be your own, for seed of the field, for your food, for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.”

Da antworteten sie: »Du hast uns am Leben erhalten! Möchten wir nur Gnade finden vor den Augen unsers Herrn, so wollen wir gern dem Pharao leibeigen sein!«

Y ellos respondieron: La vida nos has dado: hallemos gracia en ojos de mi señor, y seamos siervos de Faraón.

And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.

They said, “You have saved our lives! Let us find favor in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.”

So machte Joseph es zu einer gesetzlichen Verpflichtung, die bis auf diesen Tag für den Grundbesitz der Ägypter besteht, daß dem Pharao der fünfte Teil des Ernteertrages gehört; nur die Ländereien der Priester allein kamen nicht in den Besitz des Pharaos.

Entonces José lo puso por fuero hasta hoy sobre la tierra de Egipto, señalando para Faraón el quinto; excepto sólo la tierra de los sacerdotes, que no fué de Faraón.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh’s.

So siedelten sich denn die Israeliten in Ägypten, in der Landschaft Gosen, an; sie setzten sich darin fest und mehrten sich so, daß sie überaus zahlreich wurden.

Así habitó Israel en la tierra de Egipto, en la tierra de Gosén; y aposesionáronse en ella, y se aumentaron, y multiplicaron en gran manera.

Als dann die Zeit herankam, daß er sterben sollte, ließ er seinen Sohn Joseph rufen und sagte zu ihm: »Wenn ich dir etwas gelte, so lege deine Hand unter meine Hüfte und erweise mir die Liebe und Treue, mich nicht in Ägypten zu begraben,

Y llegáronse los días de Israel para morir, y llamó á José su hijo, y le dijo: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que pongas tu mano debajo de mi muslo, y harás conmigo misericordia y verdad; ruégote que no me entierres en Egipto;

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

The time came near that Israel must die, and he called his son Joseph, and said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, please put your hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me. Please don’t bury me in Egypt,

sondern ich möchte bei meinen Vätern ruhen! Darum bringe mich aus Ägypten weg und begrabe mich in ihrer Ruhestätte!« Da antwortete er: »Ja, ich werde nach deinem Wunsche tun.«

Mas cuando durmiere con mis padres, llevarme has de Egipto, y me sepultarás en el sepulcro de ellos. Y él respondió: Yo haré como tú dices.

But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

but when I sleep with my fathers, you shall carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their burying place.” Joseph said, “I will do as you have said.”

Da sagte er: »Schwöre es mir!«, und er schwur ihm. Israel aber beugte sich anbetend auf das Kopfende des Bettes hin.

Y él dijo: Júramelo. Y él le juró. Entonces Israel se inclinó sobre la cabecera de la cama.

And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed’s head.
