So kam Joseph, meldete es Pharao und sprach: "Mein Vater und meine Brüder mit ihren Schafen und Rindern und all ihrer Habe sind aus dem Lande Kanaan gekommen und sind jetzt im Lande Gosen."

Y JOSÉ vino, é hizo saber á Faraón, y dijo: Mi padre y mis hermanos, y sus ovejas y sus vacas, con todo lo que tienen, han venido de la tierra de Canaán, y he aquí, están en la tierra de Gosén.

Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

Then Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, and said, “My father and my brothers, with their flocks, their herds, and all that they own, have come out of the land of Canaan; and behold, they are in the land of Goshen.”

Er hatte aber fünf der tüchtigsten seiner Brüder mitgenommen. Diese stellte er dem Pharao vor.

Y de los postreros de sus hermanos tomó cinco varones, y presentólos delante de Faraón.

And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

Da sprach Pharao zu seinen Brüdern: "Was ist euer Gewerbe?" Sie sprachen zu Pharao: "Schafhirten sind deine Sklaven, wir wie unsere Väter."

Y Faraón dijo á sus hermanos: ¿Cuál es vuestro oficio? Y ellos respondieron á Faraón: Pastores de ovejas son tus siervos, así nosotros como nuestros padres.

And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

Pharaoh said to his brothers, “What is your occupation?” They said to Pharaoh, “Your servants are shepherds, both we, and our fathers.”

Dann sprachen sie zu Pharao: "Wir sind gekommen, im Land zu Gaste zu sein, weil es keine Weide mehr für deiner Sklaven Schafe gibt. Schwer ist ja der Hunger im Lande Kanaan. Nun möchten deine Sklaven in dem Lande Gosen weilen dürfen."

Dijeron además á Faraón: Por morar en esta tierra hemos venido; porque no hay pasto para las ovejas de tus siervos, pues el hambre es grave en la tierra de Canaán: por tanto, te rogamos ahora que habiten tus siervos en la tierra de Gosén.

They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

They also said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live as foreigners in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks. For the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

Da sprach Pharao zu Joseph: "Dein Vater und deine Brüder sind zu dir gekommen.

Entonces Faraón habló á José, diciendo: Tu padre y tus hermanos han venido á ti;

And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

Offen steht dir das Ägypterland. Siedle deinen Vater und deine Brüder im besten Teil des Landes an! Sie mögen in dem Lande Gosen wohnen, und findest du, daß unter ihnen tüchtige Leute sind, dann kannst du sie zu Aufsehern über meine Herden machen."

La tierra de Egipto delante de ti está; en lo mejor de la tierra haz habitar á tu padre y á tus hermanos; habiten en la tierra de Gosén; y si entiendes que hay entre ellos hombres eficaces, ponlos por mayorales del ganado mío.

The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

The land of Egypt is before you. Make your father and your brothers dwell in the best of the land. Let them dwell in the land of Goshen. If you know any able men among them, then put them in charge of my livestock.”

Da führte Joseph seinen Vater Jakob hinein und stellte ihn Pharao vor. Jakob aber begrüßte Pharao mit einem Segenswunsch.

Y José introdujo á su padre, y presentólo delante de Faraón; y Jacob bendijo á Faraón.

And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

Da sprach Pharao zu Jakob: "Wie viele Lebensjahre zählst du?"

Y dijo Faraón á Jacob: ¿Cuántos son los días de los años de tu vida?

And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

Da sprach Jakob zu Pharao: "Die Dauer meiner Wanderschaft beträgt 130 Jahre. Wenig und böse sind meine Lebensjahre gewesen. Sie reichen nicht an die Lebensjahre meiner Väter in den Tagen ihrer Pilgerschaft."

Y Jacob respondió á Faraón: Los días de los años de mi peregrinación son ciento treinta años; pocos y malos han sido los días de los años de mi vida, y no han llegado á los días de los años de la vida de mis padres en los días de su peregrinación.

And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are one hundred thirty years. The days of the years of my life have been few and evil. They have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.”

Dann segnete Jakob den Pharao. Und so verließ er den Pharao.

Así José hizo habitar á su padre y á sus hermanos, y dióles posesión en la tierra de Egipto, en lo mejor de la tierra, en la tierra de Rameses como mandó Faraón.

Nun gab es auf der ganzen Erde kein Brot mehr; denn der Hunger war sehr stark. Auch das Land Ägypten war ebenso vom Hunger erschöpft wie das Land Kanaan.

Joseph aber hatte alles Geld im Land Ägypten und im Lande Kanaan an sich gebracht für das Getreide, das sie kaufen mußten. Und Joseph hatte das Geld in Pharaos Haus gebracht.

Y recogió José todo el dinero que se halló en la tierra de Egipto y en la tierra de Canaán, por los alimentos que de él compraban; y metió José el dinero en casa de Faraón.

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph, and said, “Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For our money fails.”

Da sprach Joseph: "Gebt eure Herden her! Dann gebe ich euch um eure Herden etwas, wenn das Geld zu Ende ist."

And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

Joseph said, “Give me your livestock; and I will give you food for your livestock, if your money is gone.”

So brachten sie ihre Herden zu Joseph, und Joseph gab ihnen Brot um die Rosse, die Schaf- und Rinderherden und die Esel. So versorgte er sie mit Brot um den Preis all ihrer Herden in jenem Jahre.

Y ellos trajeron sus ganados á José; y José les dió alimentos por caballos, y por el ganado de las ovejas, y por el ganado de las vacas, y por asnos: y sustentólos de pan por todos sus ganados aquel año.

And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

So verging jenes Jahr. Da kamen sie im zweiten Jahre wieder zu ihm und sprachen zu ihm: "Wir können es meinem Herrn nicht verhehlen: Wenn das Geld zu Ende ist und der Besitz an Vieh an meinen Herrn übergeht, dann ist nichts mehr vor meinem Herrn übrig als unser Leib und unser Ackerland.

Y acabado aquel año, vinieron á él el segundo año, y le dijeron: No encubriremos á nuestro señor que el dinero ciertamente se ha acabado; también el ganado es ya de nuestro señor; nada ha quedado delante de nuestro señor sino nuestros cuerpos y nuestra tierra.

When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

Warum sollen wir vor deinen Augen hinsterben, wir und unser Ackerland? Kaufe uns und unser Ackerland um Brot! Wir wollen mit unserem Ackerland dem Pharao fronen. Aber gib Saatkorn her, daß wir leben und nicht sterben und daß das Ackerland nicht veröde!"

¿Por qué moriremos delante de tus ojos, así nosotros como nuestra tierra? Cómpranos á nosotros y á nuestra tierra por pan, y seremos nosotros y nuestra tierra siervos de Faraón: y danos simiente para que vivamos y no muramos, y no sea asolada la tierra.

Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants to Pharaoh. Give us seed, that we may live, and not die, and that the land won’t be desolate.”

So kaufte Joseph den ganzen Ackerboden Ägyptens für Pharao; denn die Ägypter verkauften jeder sein Feld. So hatte sie der Hunger gedrückt. Und das Land kam in Pharaos Besitz.

Das Volk aber ließ er in Städte übersiedeln von einem Ende Ägyptens bis zum anderen.

And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

Nur das Ackerland der Priester kaufte er nicht. Denn die Priester hatten vom Pharao ein festes Einkommen. So lebten sie von ihrem Einkommen, das ihnen Pharao gewährte. Deshalb verkauften sie ihr Ackerland nicht.

Solamente la tierra de los sacerdotes no compró, por cuanto los sacerdotes tenían ración de Faraón, y ellos comían su ración que Faraón les daba: por eso no vendieron su tierra.

Da sprach Joseph zu den Leuten: "Nun habe ich euch samt eurem Ackerland für Pharao gekauft. Hier habt ihr Saatkorn. Dann könnt ihr das Ackerland besäen.

Y José dijo al pueblo: He aquí os he hoy comprado y á vuestra tierra para Faraón: ved aquí simiente, y sembraréis la tierra.

Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh. Behold, here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.

Aber bei der Ernte müßt ihr ein Fünftel dem Pharao abliefern. Die anderen vier Fünftel sollen euch gehören zur Aussaat fürs Feld und zu eurem Unterhalt und dem eurer Familien und zur Nahrung der Kinder!"

Y será que de los frutos daréis el quinto á Faraón, y las cuatro partes serán vuestras para sembrar las tierras, y para vuestro mantenimiento, y de los que están en vuestras casas, y para que coman vuestros niños.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

It will happen at the harvests, that you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four parts will be your own, for seed of the field, for your food, for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.”

Sie sprachen: "Du rettest uns das Leben. Möchten wir Gnade finden in meines Herrn Augen! Dann wollen wir Pharaos Sklaven sein."

Y ellos respondieron: La vida nos has dado: hallemos gracia en ojos de mi señor, y seamos siervos de Faraón.

And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.

They said, “You have saved our lives! Let us find favor in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.”

So machte es Joseph zum Gesetz bis auf diesen Tag für Ägyptens Ackerland, daß dem Pharao ein Fünftel gehöre. Nur das Ackerland der Priester allein war Pharao nicht zugefallen.

Entonces José lo puso por fuero hasta hoy sobre la tierra de Egipto, señalando para Faraón el quinto; excepto sólo la tierra de los sacerdotes, que no fué de Faraón.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh’s.

Israel aber blieb im Lande Ägypten, im Lande Gosen. Sie setzten sich darin fest, waren fruchtbar und mehrten sich stark.

Así habitó Israel en la tierra de Egipto, en la tierra de Gosén; y aposesionáronse en ella, y se aumentaron, y multiplicaron en gran manera.

And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

Und Jakob lebte im Lande Ägypten 17 Jahre. Der Tage Jakobs, seiner Lebensjahre wurden 147 Jahre.

Als die Tage Israels dem Tod zugingen, rief er seinen Sohn Joseph und sprach zu ihm: "Gelte ich dir etwas, dann lege deine Hand unter meine Lende! Dann erweist du mir treue Liebe. Begrabe mich nicht in Ägypten!

Y llegáronse los días de Israel para morir, y llamó á José su hijo, y le dijo: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que pongas tu mano debajo de mi muslo, y harás conmigo misericordia y verdad; ruégote que no me entierres en Egipto;

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

The time came near that Israel must die, and he called his son Joseph, and said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, please put your hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me. Please don’t bury me in Egypt,

Bei meinen Vätern möchte ich liegen! Möchtest du mich fort aus Ägypten bringen und mich in ihrem Grabe bestattend Er sprach: "Ich tue, wie du sagst."

Mas cuando durmiere con mis padres, llevarme has de Egipto, y me sepultarás en el sepulcro de ellos. Y él respondió: Yo haré como tú dices.

But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

but when I sleep with my fathers, you shall carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their burying place.” Joseph said, “I will do as you have said.”

Er sprach: "Schwöre mir!" Da schwur er ihm. Israel aber neigte sich zu Häupten des Bettes.

Y él dijo: Júramelo. Y él le juró. Entonces Israel se inclinó sobre la cabecera de la cama.

And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed’s head.

Israel said, “Swear to me,” and he swore to him. Then Israel bowed himself on the bed’s head.
