Joseph, les ayant quittés, fit un rapport au Pharaon, disant : Mon père, mes frères, et leurs troupeaux, leurs bœufs et tout ce qu'ils possèdent, sont arrivés de la terre de Chanaan ; ils sont en la terre de Gessen.

Y JOSÉ vino, é hizo saber á Faraón, y dijo: Mi padre y mis hermanos, y sus ovejas y sus vacas, con todo lo que tienen, han venido de la tierra de Canaán, y he aquí, están en la tierra de Gosén.

Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren, and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

Then Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, and said, “My father and my brothers, with their flocks, their herds, and all that they own, have come out of the land of Canaan; and behold, they are in the land of Goshen.”

Il choisit, parmi ses frères, cinq hommes qu'il plaça devant le Pharaon.

Y de los postreros de sus hermanos tomó cinco varones, y presentólos delante de Faraón.

And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto Pharaoh.

From among his brothers he took five men, and presented them to Pharaoh.

Et le Pharaon dit aux frères de Joseph : Quel est votre labeur ? Ils répondirent : Tes serviteurs sont pasteurs de brebis ; nous le sommes ainsi que nos pères.

Y Faraón dijo á sus hermanos: ¿Cuál es vuestro oficio? Y ellos respondieron á Faraón: Pastores de ovejas son tus siervos, así nosotros como nuestros padres.

And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

Pharaoh said to his brothers, “What is your occupation?” They said to Pharaoh, “Your servants are shepherds, both we, and our fathers.”

Ils dirent ensuite au Pharaon : Nous sommes venus séjourner en passant sur cette terre, car tes serviteurs n'ont point de pâturages pour leur bétail, à cause de la famine qui sévit en la terre de Chanaan ; maintenant donc qu'il nous soit permis de demeurer en la terre de Gessen.

Dijeron además á Faraón: Por morar en esta tierra hemos venido; porque no hay pasto para las ovejas de tus siervos, pues el hambre es grave en la tierra de Canaán: por tanto, te rogamos ahora que habiten tus siervos en la tierra de Gosén.

They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

They also said to Pharaoh, “We have come to live as foreigners in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks. For the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

Et le Pharaon dit à Joseph : Qu'ils demeurent en la terre de Gessen, et, si tu connais parmi eux des hommes capables, fais-les chefs de mes troupeaux. C'est ainsi que vinrent en Égypte, auprès de Joseph, Jacob et ses fils, et que le roi Pharaon l'apprit. Le Pharaon dit aussi à Joseph : Ton père et tes frères sont venus auprès de toi ;

Entonces Faraón habló á José, diciendo: Tu padre y tus hermanos han venido á ti;

And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

Voici devant toi la terre d'Égypte : établis ton père et tes frères en une terre de choix.

La tierra de Egipto delante de ti está; en lo mejor de la tierra haz habitar á tu padre y á tus hermanos; habiten en la tierra de Gosén; y si entiendes que hay entre ellos hombres eficaces, ponlos por mayorales del ganado mío.

The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.

The land of Egypt is before you. Make your father and your brothers dwell in the best of the land. Let them dwell in the land of Goshen. If you know any able men among them, then put them in charge of my livestock.”

Joseph amena Jacob, son père, devant le Pharaon, et Jacob bénit le Pharaon.

Y José introdujo á su padre, y presentólo delante de Faraón; y Jacob bendijo á Faraón.

And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

Le Pharaon dit à Jacob : Quel est le nombre des années de ta vie ?

Y dijo Faraón á Jacob: ¿Cuántos son los días de los años de tu vida?

And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

Pharaoh said to Jacob, “How old are you?”

Jacob répondit : Les jours des années de ma vie, depuis que je suis passager sur la terre, font cent trente ans. Ils ont été courts et mauvais, et n'ont point égalé en nombre les jours des années de la vie de mes pères, lors de leur passage.

Y Jacob respondió á Faraón: Los días de los años de mi peregrinación son ciento treinta años; pocos y malos han sido los días de los años de mi vida, y no han llegado á los días de los años de la vida de mis padres en los días de su peregrinación.

And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are one hundred thirty years. The days of the years of my life have been few and evil. They have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.”

Et Jacob, ayant béni le Pharaon, sortit d'auprès de lui.

Joseph établit son père et ses frères ; il leur donna des possessions en la terre d'Égypte, en la meilleure contrée, c'est-à-dire en la terre de Rhamessès, selon ce que le Pharaon avait prescrit.

Así José hizo habitar á su padre y á sus hermanos, y dióles posesión en la tierra de Egipto, en lo mejor de la tierra, en la tierra de Rameses como mandó Faraón.

And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

Car il n'y avait point de blé sur la terre, et la famine sévissait cruellement. La terre d'Égypte et la terre de Chanaan dépérissaient à cause de la famine.

Y no había pan en toda la tierra, y el hambre era muy grave; por lo que desfalleció de hambre la tierra de Egipto y la tierra de Canaán.

And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore, so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of the famine.

Joseph accumula tout l'argent qui se trouvait en la terre d'Égypte et en la terre de Chanaan, pour prix du blé que l'on achetait et qu'il distribuait. Il porta tout cet argent en la demeure du Pharaon.

Y recogió José todo el dinero que se halló en la tierra de Egipto y en la tierra de Canaán, por los alimentos que de él compraban; y metió José el dinero en casa de Faraón.

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.

Enfin l'argent fut épuisé dans la terre d'Égypte et dans celle de Chanaan, et tous les Égyptiens vinrent à Joseph, disant : Donne-nous des vivres ; faut -il que nous mourions devant toi, parce que nous n'avons plus d'argent ?

Y acabado el dinero de la tierra de Egipto y de la tierra de Canaán, vino todo Egipto á José diciendo: Danos pan: ¿por qué moriremos delante de ti, por haberse acabado el dinero?

And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph, and said, “Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For our money fails.”

Joseph leur dit : Amenez-moi vos troupeaux, et je vous donnerai des vivres en échange de vos troupeaux, puisque vous n'avez plus d'argent.

Y José dijo: Dad vuestros ganados, y yo os daré por vuestros ganados, si se ha acabado el dinero.

And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.

Joseph said, “Give me your livestock; and I will give you food for your livestock, if your money is gone.”

Ils amenèrent à Joseph leurs troupeaux, et Joseph leur donna des vivres en échange des chevaux, des brebis et des ânes ; et, cette année-là, il les nourrit de blé échangé contre tout leur bétail.

Y ellos trajeron sus ganados á José; y José les dió alimentos por caballos, y por el ganado de las ovejas, y por el ganado de las vacas, y por asnos: y sustentólos de pan por todos sus ganados aquel año.

And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.

Ils vinrent à lui, l'année finie, et ils lui dirent : Nous faudra-t-il donc périr devant notre seigneur, parce que notre argent, nos richesses, notre bétail ont passé entre les mains de notre seigneur, et qu'il ne nous reste plus rien devant lui que notre corps et notre terre ?

Y acabado aquel año, vinieron á él el segundo año, y le dijeron: No encubriremos á nuestro señor que el dinero ciertamente se ha acabado; también el ganado es ya de nuestro señor; nada ha quedado delante de nuestro señor sino nuestros cuerpos y nuestra tierra.

When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

Afin donc que nous ne mourions pas et que la terre ne devienne point déserte, achète-nous nous-mêmes avec notre terre, en échange de vivres ; et nous, avec notre terre, nous serons esclaves du Pharaon. Donne-nous de la semence afin que nous semions, et que nous vivions, et que nous ne mourions pas, et que la terre ne devienne point déserte.

¿Por qué moriremos delante de tus ojos, así nosotros como nuestra tierra? Cómpranos á nosotros y á nuestra tierra por pan, y seremos nosotros y nuestra tierra siervos de Faraón: y danos simiente para que vivamos y no muramos, y no sea asolada la tierra.

Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.

Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants to Pharaoh. Give us seed, that we may live, and not die, and that the land won’t be desolate.”

Et Joseph acheta pour le Pharaon toutes les terres des Égyptiens ; car les Égyptiens vendaient leurs terres au Pharaon, à cause de la famine qui sévissait sur eux, et la terre appartint au roi.

Entonces compró José toda la tierra de Egipto para Faraón; pues los Egipcios vendieron cada uno sus tierras, porque se agravó el hambre sobre ellos: y la tierra vino á ser de Faraón.

And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s.

Joseph lui asservit tout le peuple, qui devint esclave depuis l'une des extrémités de l'Égypte jusqu'à l'autre ;

And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

Hormis les terres des prêtres, que Joseph n'acheta pas, car le Pharaon leur donnait gratuitement des vivres ; ils vécurent ainsi des vivres que leur avait donnés le Pharaon, et ils ne vendirent point leurs terres.

Solamente la tierra de los sacerdotes no compró, por cuanto los sacerdotes tenían ración de Faraón, y ellos comían su ración que Faraón les daba: por eso no vendieron su tierra.

Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

Joseph dit ensuite à tous les Égyptiens : J'ai acquis aujourd'hui pour le Pharaon vous et vos terres ; prenez de la semence, et ensemencez les champs.

Y José dijo al pueblo: He aquí os he hoy comprado y á vuestra tierra para Faraón: ved aquí simiente, y sembraréis la tierra.

Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the land.

Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh. Behold, here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.

Ainsi la terre produira ; vous donnerez la cinquième part au Pharaon, et les quatre autres seront à vous, pour ensemencer les terres et pour vous nourrir, vous et vos maisons.

Y será que de los frutos daréis el quinto á Faraón, y las cuatro partes serán vuestras para sembrar las tierras, y para vuestro mantenimiento, y de los que están en vuestras casas, y para que coman vuestros niños.

And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field, and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.

It will happen at the harvests, that you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four parts will be your own, for seed of the field, for your food, for them of your households, and for food for your little ones.”

Et ils dirent : Tu nous as sauvés ; nous avons trouvé grâce devant notre seigneur, et nous serons les esclaves du Pharaon.

Y ellos respondieron: La vida nos has dado: hallemos gracia en ojos de mi señor, y seamos siervos de Faraón.

And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.

They said, “You have saved our lives! Let us find favor in the sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.”

Joseph leur imposa ainsi la loi qui subsiste encore aujourd'hui en la terre d'Égypte, de donner la cinquième part au Pharaon ; hormis les terres des prêtres, qui n'appartiennent pas au Pharaon.

Entonces José lo puso por fuero hasta hoy sobre la tierra de Egipto, señalando para Faraón el quinto; excepto sólo la tierra de los sacerdotes, que no fué de Faraón.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh’s.

Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth. Only the land of the priests alone didn’t become Pharaoh’s.

Israël demeura donc en la terre de Gessen d'Égypte, et ses fils y possédaient, et ils croissaient, et ils multipliaient extrêmement.

Así habitó Israel en la tierra de Egipto, en la tierra de Gosén; y aposesionáronse en ella, y se aumentaron, y multiplicaron en gran manera.

Y llegáronse los días de Israel para morir, y llamó á José su hijo, y le dijo: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que pongas tu mano debajo de mi muslo, y harás conmigo misericordia y verdad; ruégote que no me entierres en Egipto;

And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

The time came near that Israel must die, and he called his son Joseph, and said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, please put your hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me. Please don’t bury me in Egypt,

Mais de me faire reposer auprès de mes pères. Tu me transporteras d'Égypte pour m'ensevelir dans leur sépulcre ; et Joseph dit : Je ferai selon ta parole.

Mas cuando durmiere con mis padres, llevarme has de Egipto, y me sepultarás en el sepulcro de ellos. Y él respondió: Yo haré como tú dices.

But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

but when I sleep with my fathers, you shall carry me out of Egypt, and bury me in their burying place.” Joseph said, “I will do as you have said.”

Et Jacob dit : Jure-le-moi ; et Joseph le lui jura. Israël s'inclina en adorant sur l'extrémité de son bâton.

Y él dijo: Júramelo. Y él le juró. Entonces Israel se inclinó sobre la cabecera de la cama.

And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed’s head.

Israel said, “Swear to me,” and he swore to him. Then Israel bowed himself on the bed’s head.
