Und Israel brach auf und alles, was er hatte, und kam nach Beerscheba, und opferte dem Gotte seines Vaters Isaak Opfer.

Y PARTIÓSE Israel con todo lo que tenía, y vino á Beer-seba, y ofreció sacrificios al Dios de su padre Isaac.

Y dijo: Yo soy Dios, el Dios de tu padre; no temas de descender á Egipto, porque yo te pondré allí en gran gente.

And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

Ich werde mit dir hinabgehen nach Ägypten und dich auch heraufkommen lassen, und Joseph wird seine Hand auf deine Augen legen.

Yo descenderé contigo á Egipto, y yo también te haré volver: y José pondrá su mano sobre tus ojos.

I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

Und Jakob machte sich auf von Beerscheba, und die Söhne Israels hoben ihren Vater Jakob, ihre Kindlein und ihre Weiber auf in die Wagen, die Pharao gesandt, ihn zu fahren.

Und Joseph sprach zu seinen Brüdern und zu dem Haus seines Vaters: Ich will hinaufgehen und Pharao ansagen, und ich will zu ihm sagen: Meine Brüder und das Haus meines Vaters, die im Lande Kanaan waren, sind zu mir gekommen.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;

Und wenn es geschieht, daß Pharao euch ruft und sagt: Was ist euer Tun?

And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?

Dann saget: Männer der Viehherden sind deine Knechte gewesen von unsrer Jugend auf und bis jetzt, sowohl wir als unsre Väter; auf daß ihr wohnen möget im Lande Goschen; denn alle, die Kleinvieh weiden, sind den Ägyptern ein Greuel.

Entonces diréis: Hombres de ganadería han sido tus siervos desde nuestra mocedad hasta ahora, nosotros y nuestros padres; á fin que moréis en la tierra de Gosén, porque los Egipcios abominan todo pastor de ovejas.

That ye shall say, Thy servants’ trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
