Israel zog hin mit allem, das er hatte. Und da er gen Bersaba kam, opferte er Opfer dem Gott seines Vaters Isaak.

Y PARTIÓSE Israel con todo lo que tenía, y vino á Beer-seba, y ofreció sacrificios al Dios de su padre Isaac.

And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

Y dijo: Yo soy Dios, el Dios de tu padre; no temas de descender á Egipto, porque yo te pondré allí en gran gente.

And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

Ich will mit dir hinab nach Ägypten ziehen und will auch dich heraufführen; und Joseph soll seine Hände auf deine Augen legen.

Da machte sich Jakob auf von Bersaba; und die Kinder Israels führeten Jakob, ihren Vater, mit ihren Kindlein und Weibern auf den Wagen, die Pharao gesandt hatte, ihn zu führen.

Y levantóse Jacob de Beer-seba; y tomaron los hijos de Israel á su padre Jacob, y á sus niños, y á sus mujeres, en los carros que Faraón había enviado para llevarlo.

Und er sandte Juda vor ihm hin zu Joseph, daß er ihn anweisete zu Gosen. Und kamen in das Land Gosen.

Da spannete Joseph seinen Wagen an und zog hinauf seinem Vater Israel entgegen gen Gosen. Und da er ihn sah, fiel er ihm um seinen Hals und weinete lange an seinem Halse.

Da sprach Israel zu Joseph: Ich will nun gerne sterben, nachdem ich dein Angesicht gesehen habe, daß du noch lebest.

Joseph sprach zu seinen Brüdern und zu seines Vaters Hause: Ich will hinaufziehen und Pharao ansagen und zu ihm sprechen: Meine Brüder und meines Vaters Haus ist zu mir kommen aus dem Lande Kanaan.

Y José dijo á sus hermanos, y á la casa de su padre: Subiré y haré saber á Faraón, y diréle: Mis hermanos y la casa de mi padre, que estaban en la tierra de Canaán, han venido á mí;

And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father’s house, I will go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father’s house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;

Wenn euch nun Pharao wird rufen und sagen: Was ist eure Nahrung?

Y cuando Faraón os llamare y dijere: ¿cuál es vuestro oficio?

And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?

It will happen, when Pharaoh summons you, and will say, ‘What is your occupation?’

so sollt ihr sagen: Deine Knechte sind Leute, die mit Vieh umgehen, von unserer Jugend auf bisher, beide wir und unsere Väter, auf daß ihr wohnen möget im Lande Gosen. Denn was Viehhirten sind, das ist den Ägyptern ein Greuel.

Entonces diréis: Hombres de ganadería han sido tus siervos desde nuestra mocedad hasta ahora, nosotros y nuestros padres; á fin que moréis en la tierra de Gosén, porque los Egipcios abominan todo pastor de ovejas.
