A José le sirvieron en una mesa aparte, y a sus hermanos en otra. A los egipcios que comían con él también les sirvieron aparte, pues los egipcios no pueden comer con los hebreos, ya que lo consideran algo repugnante.
Y pusieron para él aparte, y separadamente para ellos, y aparte para los Egipcios que con él comían: porque los Egipcios no pueden comer pan con los Hebreos, lo cual es abominación á los Egipcios.
And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
