NACH zwei Jahren hatte der Pharao einen Traum: er stand am Nil

Y ACONTECIÓ que pasados dos años tuvo Faraón un sueño: Parecíale que estaba junto al río;

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

At the end of two full years, Pharaoh dreamed, and behold, he stood by the river.

und sah sieben schöne, fette Kühe aus dem Nil emporsteigen; die weideten im Grase.

Y que del río subían siete vacas, hermosas á la vista, y muy gordas, y pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

Behold, seven cattle came up out of the river. They were sleek and fat, and they fed in the marsh grass.

Nach ihnen sah er aus dem Nil sieben andre Kühe steigen, hässlich und mager; die traten neben die Kühe am Ufer des Nil.

Y que otras siete vacas subían tras ellas del río, de fea vista, y enjutas de carne, y se pararon cerca de las vacas hermosas á la orilla del río:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.

Behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ugly and thin, and stood by the other cattle on the brink of the river.

Und die hässlichen, magern Kühe frassen die sieben schönen, fetten Kühe. Da erwachte der Pharao.

Y que las vacas de fea vista y enjutas de carne devoraban á las siete vacas hermosas y muy gordas. Y despertó Faraón.

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

The ugly and thin cattle ate up the seven sleek and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.

Dann schlief er wieder ein und träumte abermals: sieben Ähren wuchsen auf einem Halme, dick und schön;

And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.

nach ihnen sah er sieben dünne Ähren sprossen, die der Ostwind versengt hatte.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas y abatidas del Solano, salían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.

Behold, seven heads of grain, thin and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Und die dünnen Ähren verschlangen die sieben dicken, vollen Ähren. Da erwachte der Pharao, und siehe, es war ein Traum.

Y las siete espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas gruesas y llenas. Y despertó Faraón, y he aquí que era sueño.

And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

Am Morgen aber wurde sein Geist beunruhigt. Darum sandte er hin und liess alle Wahrsager und alle Weisen von Ägypten rufen und erzählte ihnen seinen Traum; aber es war keiner, der ihn dem Pharao auslegen konnte.

Y acaeció que á la mañana estaba agitado su espíritu; y envió é hizo llamar á todos los magos de Egipto, y á todos sus sabios: y contóles Faraón sus sueños, mas no había quien á Faraón los declarase.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

Da sprach der Obermundschenk zum Pharao: Ich muss heute an meine Verfehlung erinnern.

Entonces el principal de los coperos habló á Faraón, diciendo: Acuérdome hoy de mis faltas:

Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.

Als der Pharao über seine Knechte zornig ward und sie in das Haus des Obersten der Leibwache in Gewahrsam gab, mich und den Oberbäcker,

Faraón se enojó contra sus siervos, y á mí me echó á la prisión de la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, á mí y al principal de los panaderos:

Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:

da hatten wir in derselben Nacht einen Traum, ich und er; jeder hatte einen Traum von besonderer Bedeutung.

Y yo y él vimos un sueño una misma noche: cada uno soñó conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

Nun war dort ein hebräischer Jüngling bei uns, ein Sklave des Obersten der Leibwache; dem erzählten wir es, und er legte uns unsre Träume aus, einem jeden legte er seinen Traum besonders aus.

Y estaba allí con nosotros un mozo Hebreo, sirviente del capitán de los de la guardia; y se lo contamos, y él nos declaró nuestros sueños, y declaró á cada uno conforme á su sueño.

And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

Und wie er es uns ausgelegt, so ist es gekommen: mich hat man wieder in mein Amt eingesetzt, und ihn hat man gehängt.

Y aconteció que como él nos declaró, así fué: á mí me hizo volver á mi puesto, é hizo colgar al otro.

And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.

Da sandte der Pharao hin und liess Joseph rufen, und man holte ihn eilends aus dem Kerker. Er liess sich scheren und wechselte die Kleider, und dann erschien er vor dem Pharao.

Entonces Faraón envió y llamó á José; é hiciéronle salir corriendo de la cárcel, y le cortaron el pelo, y mudaron sus vestidos, y vino á Faraón.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

Da sprach der Pharao zu Joseph: Ich habe einen Traum gehabt, und niemand kann ihn auslegen; ich habe aber von dir sagen hören, wenn du einen Traum nur hörest, so könnest du ihn auslegen.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo he tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare; mas he oído decir de ti, que oyes sueños para declararlos.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

Joseph antwortete dem Pharao und sprach: Bei mir steht das nicht; Gott wird dem Pharao Heil verkünden. (a) 1Mo 40:8; Da 2:28

Y respondió José á Faraón, diciendo: No está en mí; Dios será el que responda paz á Faraón.

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Nun sprach der Pharao zu Joseph: Mir träumte, ich stehe am Ufer des Nil.

Entonces Faraón dijo á José: En mi sueño parecíame que estaba á la orilla del río:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:

Da stiegen aus dem Nil sieben fette, schöne Kühe und weideten im Grase.

Y que del río subían siete vacas de gruesas carnes y hermosa apariencia, que pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

and behold, seven fat and sleek cattle came up out of the river. They fed in the marsh grass;

Nach ihnen stiegen sieben andre Kühe herauf, dürr und überaus hässlich und mager; ich habe in ganz Ägypten nie so hässliche gesehen.

Y que otras siete vacas subían después de ellas, flacas y de muy fea traza; tan extenuadas, que no he visto otras semejantes en toda la tierra de Egipto en fealdad:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.

Und nun frassen die magern, hässlichen Kühe die sieben ersten, fetten Kühe auf;

Y las vacas flacas y feas devoraban á las siete primeras vacas gruesas:

And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:

The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;

und wie sie die hineingefressen, merkte man ihnen gar nicht an, dass sie sie verschlungen hatten; sie waren noch so hässlich wie zuvor. Da erwachte ich.

Y entraban en sus entrañas, mas no se conocía que hubiesen entrado en ellas, porque su parecer era aún malo, como de primero. Y yo desperté.

And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

Dann hatte ich (nochmals) einen Traum: sieben Ähren wuchsen auf einem Halme, voll und schön;

Vi también soñando, que siete espigas subían en una misma caña llenas y hermosas;

And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:

I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;

nach ihnen sprossten sieben harte, dünne Ähren, vom Ostwind versengt,

Y que otras siete espigas menudas, marchitas, abatidas del Solano, subían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:

and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

und die dünnen Ähren verschlangen die sieben schönen Ähren. Das habe ich den Wahrsagern erzählt, aber keiner kann es mir erklären.

Y las espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas hermosas: y helo dicho á los magos, mas no hay quien me lo declare.

And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

Da sprach Joseph zum Pharao: Beide Träume des Pharao bedeuten dasselbe. Gott hat dem Pharao verkündet, was er tun will.

Entonces respondió José á Faraón: El sueño de Faraón es uno mismo: Dios ha mostrado á Faraón lo que va á hacer.

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

Die sieben schönen Kühe sind sieben Jahre, und die sieben schönen Ähren sind sieben Jahre; es ist ein und derselbe Traum.

Las siete vacas hermosas siete años son; y las espigas hermosas son siete años: el sueño es uno mismo.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good heads of grain are seven years. The dream is one.

Die sieben magern, hässlichen Kühe, die nach ihnen heraufstiegen, sind sieben Jahre; und die sieben leeren, vom Ostwind versengten Ähren werden sieben Hungerjahre sein.

También las siete vacas flacas y feas que subían tras ellas, son siete años; y las siete espigas menudas y marchitas del Solano, siete años serán de hambre.

And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

The seven thin and ugly cattle that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty heads of grain blasted with the east wind; they will be seven years of famine.

Das meinte ich, als ich zum Pharao sagte: "Gott hat dem Pharao gezeigt, was er tun will."

Esto es lo que respondo á Faraón. Lo que Dios va á hacer, halo mostrado á Faraón.

This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.

That is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Siehe, es werden sieben Jahre kommen mit grosser Fülle in ganz Ägypten.

He aquí vienen siete años de grande hartura en toda la tierra de Egipto:

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

Behold, seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt are coming.

Und nach ihnen werden sieben Hungerjahre kommen; da wird all die Fülle in Ägypten vergessen sein: der Hunger wird das Land verzehren,

Y levantarse han tras ellos siete años de hambre; y toda la hartura será olvidada en la tierra de Egipto; y el hambre consumirá la tierra;

And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

Seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will consume the land,

dass man nichts mehr spüren wird von der Fülle im Lande ob der Hungersnot, die hernach kommt; denn sie wird sehr schwer sein.

Y aquella abundancia no se echará de ver á causa del hambre siguiente, la cual será gravísima.

And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.

and the plenty will not be known in the land by reason of that famine which follows; for it will be very grievous.

Dass aber dem Pharao zweimal geträumt hat, das bedeutet, dass die Sache bei Gott fest beschlossen ist und dass Gott es alsbald tun wird.

Y el suceder el sueño á Faraón dos veces, significa que la cosa es firme de parte de Dios, y que Dios se apresura á hacerla.

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Nun sehe sich der Pharao nach einem verständigen und weisen Manne um, den er über das Land Ägypten setze;

Por tanto, provéase ahora Faraón de un varón prudente y sabio, y póngalo sobre la tierra de Egipto.

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

und der Pharao greife ein und bestelle Amtleute über das Land, um in den sieben Jahren der Fülle den Fünften zu erheben vom Lande Ägypten.

Haga esto Faraón, y ponga gobernadores sobre el país, y quinte la tierra de Egipto en los siete años de la hartura;

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt’s produce in the seven plenteous years.

Sie sollen alles Getreide dieser guten Jahre, die nun kommen werden, sammeln und das Korn aufspeichern zur Verfügung des Pharao; sie sollen das Getreide in die Städte schaffen und es dort verwahren.

Y junten toda la provisión de estos buenos años que vienen, y alleguen el trigo bajo la mano de Faraón para mantenimiento de las ciudades; y guárdenlo.

And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

Let them gather all the food of these good years that come, and store grain under the hand of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it.

So wird das Getreide dem Land als Vorrat dienen in den sieben Hungerjahren, die über das Land Ägypten kommen werden, dass nicht das Land vor Hunger verderbe.

Y esté aquella provisión en depósito para el país, para los siete años del hambre que serán en la tierra de Egipto; y el país no perecerá de hambre.

And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

The food will be to supply the land against the seven years of famine, which will be in the land of Egypt; so that the land will not perish through the famine.”

Diese Rede gefiel dem Pharao und allen seinen Dienern wohl.

Y el negocio pareció bien á Faraón, y á sus siervos.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

Und der Pharao sprach zu seinen Dienern: Könnten wir wohl einen Mann finden, in dem der Geist Gottes wäre wie in diesem? (a) Da 5:11

Y dijo Faraón á sus siervos: ¿Hemos de hallar otro hombre como éste, en quien haya espíritu de Dios?

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

Und zu Joseph sprach der Pharao: Nachdem dir Gott das alles kundgetan hat, ist niemand so verständig und weise wie du.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Pues que Dios te ha hecho saber todo esto, no hay entendido ni sabio como tú:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

Du sollst über mein Haus gesetzt sein, und deinem Worte soll mein ganzes Volk gehorchen; nur um den Thron will ich höher sein als du.

Tú serás sobre mi casa, y por tu dicho se gobernará todo mi pueblo: solamente en el trono seré yo mayor que tú.

Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”

Dann sprach der Pharao zu Joseph: Siehe, ich setze dich hiemit über das ganze Land Ägypten.

Dijo más Faraón á José: He aquí yo te he puesto sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

Und der Pharao zog seinen Siegelring vom Finger und steckte ihn Joseph an die Hand, kleidete ihn in Gewänder von Byssus und hängte ihm die goldene Kette um den Hals.

Entonces Faraón quitó su anillo de su mano, y púsolo en la mano de José, é hízole vestir de ropas de lino finísimo, y puso un collar de oro en su cuello;

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck.

Dann liess er ihn auf seinem zweiten Wagen fahren, und man rief vor ihm her: Abrek! So setzte er ihn über das ganze Land Ägypten. (1) d.h. vlt: Auf die Kniee!

And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Und der Pharao sprach zu Joseph: Ich bin der Pharao, und ohne deinen Willen soll niemand im ganzen Lande Ägypten die Hand oder den Fuss regen.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. Without you, no man shall lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Und der Pharao nannte Joseph hinfort Zaphnath-Paneah und gab ihm Asnath, die Tochter Potipheras, des Priesters von On, zum Weibe. So gebot Joseph über das Land Ägypten.

Y llamó Faraón el nombre de José, Zaphnath-paaneah; y dióle por mujer á Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On. Y salió José por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Joseph war dreissig Jahre alt, als er vor den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, trat. Und Joseph zog vom Pharao hinweg und fuhr durch das ganze Land Ägypten.

Y era José de edad de treinta años cuando fué presentado delante de Faraón, rey de Egipto: y salió José de delante de Faraón, y transitó por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

Das Land aber trug in den sieben Jahren der Fülle Korn im Überfluss.

Da sammelte er alles Getreide der sieben Jahre, in denen Überfluss herrschte im Lande Ägypten, und schaffte das Getreide in die Städte; in eine jede Stadt tat er das Getreide von den Feldern rings um sie her.

Y él juntó todo el mantenimiento de los siete años que fueron en la tierra de Egipto, y guardó mantenimiento en las ciudades, poniendo en cada ciudad el mantenimiento del campo de sus alrededores.

And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

So speicherte Joseph das Korn auf, über die Massen viel, wie Sand am Meer, sodass er davon abstand, es zu messen; denn es war unermesslich viel.

And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.

Und Joseph nannte den Erstgebornen Manasse; denn (sprach er) Gott hat mich all meine Mühsal und meines Vaters ganzes Haus vergessen lassen. (1) vgl. Anm. zu 1Mo 29:32.

Y llamó José el nombre del primogénito Manasés; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo olvidar todo mi trabajo, y toda la casa de mi padre.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.
