Und es geschah am Ende zweier Jahre von Tagen, daß Pharao träumte, und siehe, er stand am Strome.

Y ACONTECIÓ que pasados dos años tuvo Faraón un sueño: Parecíale que estaba junto al río;

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

Und siehe, aus dem Strome stiegen auf sieben Kühe, schön anzusehen und feist an Fleisch, und weideten im Riedgras.

Y que del río subían siete vacas, hermosas á la vista, y muy gordas, y pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

Behold, seven cattle came up out of the river. They were sleek and fat, and they fed in the marsh grass.

Und siehe, sieben andere Kühe stiegen nach ihnen auf aus dem Strome, übel anzusehen und mager an Fleisch, und sie standen neben den Kühen am Ufer des Stromes.

Y que otras siete vacas subían tras ellas del río, de fea vista, y enjutas de carne, y se pararon cerca de las vacas hermosas á la orilla del río:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.

Behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ugly and thin, and stood by the other cattle on the brink of the river.

Und die Kühe, übel anzusehen und mager an Fleisch, fraßen die sieben Kühe, die schön anzusehen und feist waren; und Pharao erwachte.

Y que las vacas de fea vista y enjutas de carne devoraban á las siete vacas hermosas y muy gordas. Y despertó Faraón.

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

The ugly and thin cattle ate up the seven sleek and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.

Und er schlief ein und träumte zum zweiten Mal; und siehe, sieben Ähren kamen herauf an einem Halm, feist und gut.

Durmióse de nuevo, y soñó la segunda vez: Que siete espigas llenas y hermosas subían de una sola caña:

And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.

Und siehe, sieben Ähren, mager und vom Ostwind versengt, sproßten nach ihnen auf.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas y abatidas del Solano, salían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.

Und die mageren Ähren verschlangen die sieben feisten und vollen Ähren, und Pharao erwachte, und siehe, es war ein Traum.

Y las siete espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas gruesas y llenas. Y despertó Faraón, y he aquí que era sueño.

And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

Und es geschah am Morgen, daß sein Geist beunruhigt war, und er sandte aus und rief all die Wahrsager Ägyptens und alle seine Weisen, und Pharao erzählte ihnen seinen Traum, und es war keiner, der sie dem Pharao deutete.

Y acaeció que á la mañana estaba agitado su espíritu; y envió é hizo llamar á todos los magos de Egipto, y á todos sus sabios: y contóles Faraón sus sueños, mas no había quien á Faraón los declarase.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

Und der Oberste der Mundschenken redete mit Pharao und sprach: Ich gedenke heute meiner Sünden.

Entonces el principal de los coperos habló á Faraón, diciendo: Acuérdome hoy de mis faltas:

Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.

Pharao war entrüstet über seine Knechte und gab mich in Gewahrsam in das Haus des Obersten der Leibwachen, mich und den Obersten der Bäcker.

Faraón se enojó contra sus siervos, y á mí me echó á la prisión de la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, á mí y al principal de los panaderos:

Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:

Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, with the chief baker.

Und wir träumten einen Traum in einer Nacht, ich und er, jeder Mann nach der Deutung seines Traumes träumten wir.

Y yo y él vimos un sueño una misma noche: cada uno soñó conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

Und daselbst war bei uns ein hebräischer Jüngling, ein Knecht des Obersten der Leibwachen, und wir erzählten es ihm und er deutete uns unsere Träume, jedem Mann nach seinem Traume deutete er.

Y estaba allí con nosotros un mozo Hebreo, sirviente del capitán de los de la guardia; y se lo contamos, y él nos declaró nuestros sueños, y declaró á cada uno conforme á su sueño.

And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

Und es geschah, wie er uns gedeutet hatte, so war es. Mich brachte er wieder an meine Stelle, und ihn ließ er hängen.

Y aconteció que como él nos declaró, así fué: á mí me hizo volver á mi puesto, é hizo colgar al otro.

And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.

Und Pharao sandte und rief Joseph, und sie brachten ihn eilends aus der Grube. Und er schor sich und wechselte seine Gewänder und kam zu Pharao.

Entonces Faraón envió y llamó á José; é hiciéronle salir corriendo de la cárcel, y le cortaron el pelo, y mudaron sus vestidos, y vino á Faraón.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

Und Pharao sprach zu Joseph: Ich habe einen Traum geträumt und ist niemand der ihn deutet. Von dir aber hörte ich sagen, du hörest einen Traum, ihn zu deuten.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo he tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare; mas he oído decir de ti, que oyes sueños para declararlos.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

Und Joseph antwortete dem Pharao und sprach: Bei mir ist es nicht. Gott wird dem Pharao Frieden antworten.

Y respondió José á Faraón, diciendo: No está en mí; Dios será el que responda paz á Faraón.

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Und Pharao redete zu Joseph: Siehe, ich stand in meinem Traume am Ufer des Stromes.

Entonces Faraón dijo á José: En mi sueño parecíame que estaba á la orilla del río:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, “In my dream, behold, I stood on the brink of the river;

Und siehe, aus dem Strome stiegen auf sieben Kühe, feist an Fleisch und schön von Gestalt, und sie weideten im Riedgras.

Y que del río subían siete vacas de gruesas carnes y hermosa apariencia, que pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

and behold, seven fat and sleek cattle came up out of the river. They fed in the marsh grass;

Und siehe, sieben andere Kühe stiegen nach ihnen auf, ärmlich und sehr übel von Gestalt und abgemagert an Fleisch, ich sah dergleichen nicht in ganz Ägyptenland, so schlecht.

Y que otras siete vacas subían después de ellas, flacas y de muy fea traza; tan extenuadas, que no he visto otras semejantes en toda la tierra de Egipto en fealdad:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.

Und die abgemagerten und schlechten Kühe fraßen die sieben ersten feisten Kühe.

Y las vacas flacas y feas devoraban á las siete primeras vacas gruesas:

And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:

The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;

Und sie gingen in sie hinein, und man wußte es nicht, daß sie in sie hineingekommen, und ihr Ansehen war so schlecht, wie im Anbeginn; und ich erwachte.

Y entraban en sus entrañas, mas no se conocía que hubiesen entrado en ellas, porque su parecer era aún malo, como de primero. Y yo desperté.

And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

Und ich sah in meinem Traume, und siehe, sieben Ähren kamen hervor an einem Halm, voll und gut.

Vi también soñando, que siete espigas subían en una misma caña llenas y hermosas;

And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:

I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;

Und siehe, sieben Ähren, verdorrt, mager, vom Ostwind versengt, sproßten nach denselben auf.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas, marchitas, abatidas del Solano, subían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:

and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Und die mageren Ähren verschlangen die sieben guten Ähren; und ich sagte es den Wahrsagern und keiner konnte mir es ansagen.

Y las espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas hermosas: y helo dicho á los magos, mas no hay quien me lo declare.

And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

Und Joseph sprach zu Pharao: Der Traum Pharaos ist einer. Was Gott tun wird, hat er Pharao angesagt.

Entonces respondió José á Faraón: El sueño de Faraón es uno mismo: Dios ha mostrado á Faraón lo que va á hacer.

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

Die sieben guten Kühe, die sind sieben Jahre; und die sieben guten Ähren, die sind sieben Jahre. Es ist ein Traum.

Las siete vacas hermosas siete años son; y las espigas hermosas son siete años: el sueño es uno mismo.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good heads of grain are seven years. The dream is one.

Und die sieben abgemagerten und schlechten Kühe, die nach ihnen aufstiegen, die sind sieben Jahre und die sieben leeren, vom Ostwind versengten Ähren werden sieben Jahre des Hungers sein.

También las siete vacas flacas y feas que subían tras ellas, son siete años; y las siete espigas menudas y marchitas del Solano, siete años serán de hambre.

And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

The seven thin and ugly cattle that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty heads of grain blasted with the east wind; they will be seven years of famine.

Das ist das Wort, das ich zu Pharao geredet habe; was Gott tun wird, das hat er Pharao gezeigt.

Esto es lo que respondo á Faraón. Lo que Dios va á hacer, halo mostrado á Faraón.

This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.

That is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Siehe, es kommen sieben Jahre großen Überflusses in ganz Ägyptenland.

He aquí vienen siete años de grande hartura en toda la tierra de Egipto:

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

Behold, seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt are coming.

Und es erstehen nach ihnen sieben Hungerjahre; und man vergißt all des Überflusses im Land Ägypten, und der Hunger verzehrt das Land.

Y levantarse han tras ellos siete años de hambre; y toda la hartura será olvidada en la tierra de Egipto; y el hambre consumirá la tierra;

And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

Seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will consume the land,

Und man wird nichts mehr wissen von dem Überfluß im Lande vor dieser Hungersnot, die hernach sein wird; denn sehr schwer wird sie sein.

Y aquella abundancia no se echará de ver á causa del hambre siguiente, la cual será gravísima.

And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.

and the plenty will not be known in the land by reason of that famine which follows; for it will be very grievous.

Und daß der Traum für Pharao zum zweiten Male wiederholt worden ist, ist, weil das Wort von Gott bereitet ist, und Gott eilt, es zu tun.

Y el suceder el sueño á Faraón dos veces, significa que la cosa es firme de parte de Dios, y que Dios se apresura á hacerla.

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Und jetzt sehe Pharao nach einem einsichtsvollen und weisen Mann und setze ihn über Ägyptenland.

Por tanto, provéase ahora Faraón de un varón prudente y sabio, y póngalo sobre la tierra de Egipto.

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

Dies tue Pharao und bestelle Amtleute über das Land, und nehme in den sieben Jahren des Überflusses den Fünften im Lande Ägypten.

Haga esto Faraón, y ponga gobernadores sobre el país, y quinte la tierra de Egipto en los siete años de la hartura;

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

Und sie sollen alle die Speise dieser guten Jahre, die da kommen, zusammenbringen und unter der Hand Pharaos Getreide in den Städten zur Speise aufhäufen und behalten.

Y junten toda la provisión de estos buenos años que vienen, y alleguen el trigo bajo la mano de Faraón para mantenimiento de las ciudades; y guárdenlo.

And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

Und die Speise sei ein Vorrat für das Land auf die sieben Hungerjahre, die sein werden im Lande Ägypten, und das Land wird nicht ausgerottet werden durch den Hunger.

Y esté aquella provisión en depósito para el país, para los siete años del hambre que serán en la tierra de Egipto; y el país no perecerá de hambre.

And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

The food will be to supply the land against the seven years of famine, which will be in the land of Egypt; so that the land will not perish through the famine.”

Und das Wort war gut in den Augen Pharaos und in den Augen aller seiner Knechte.

Y el negocio pareció bien á Faraón, y á sus siervos.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

Und Pharao sprach zu seinen Knechten: Können wir einen Mann finden wie diesen, in dem der Geist Gottes ist?

Y dijo Faraón á sus siervos: ¿Hemos de hallar otro hombre como éste, en quien haya espíritu de Dios?

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

Und Pharao sprach zu Joseph: Nachdem dir Gott alles dies zu wissen getan, ist keiner so verständig und weise wie du.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Pues que Dios te ha hecho saber todo esto, no hay entendido ni sabio como tú:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

Du sollst sein über mein Haus, und auf deinen Mund soll küssen all mein Volk; nur um den Thron will ich größer sein, als du.

Tú serás sobre mi casa, y por tu dicho se gobernará todo mi pueblo: solamente en el trono seré yo mayor que tú.

Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”

Und Pharao sprach zu Joseph: Siehe, ich hab dich gesetzt über ganz Ägyptenland.

Dijo más Faraón á José: He aquí yo te he puesto sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

Und Pharao nahm seinen Ring ab von seiner Hand und gab ihn an Josephs Hand, und ließ ihm Kleider von Byssus anziehen und legte eine goldene Kette an seinen Hals.

Entonces Faraón quitó su anillo de su mano, y púsolo en la mano de José, é hízole vestir de ropas de lino finísimo, y puso un collar de oro en su cuello;

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

Und ließ ihn in dem zweiten Streitwagen fahren, den er hatte, und sie riefen vor ihm Abrech! und setzte ihn über ganz Ägyptenland.

And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Und Pharao sprach zu Joseph: Ich bin Pharao; und ohne dich soll niemand seine Hand und seinen Fuß emporheben in ganz Ägyptenland.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo Faraón; y sin ti ninguno alzará su mano ni su pie en toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. Without you, no man shall lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Und Pharao nannte den Namen Josephs Zaphnath Paneach, und gab ihm Asnath, die Tochter Potipheras, Priester von On, zum Weibe, und Joseph ging aus über Ägyptenland.

Y llamó Faraón el nombre de José, Zaphnath-paaneah; y dióle por mujer á Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On. Y salió José por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Und Joseph war dreißig Jahre alt, als er vor Pharao, dem Könige von Ägypten stand. Und Joseph ging aus von Pharao und zog hin in das ganze Land Ägypten.

Y era José de edad de treinta años cuando fué presentado delante de Faraón, rey de Egipto: y salió José de delante de Faraón, y transitó por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

Und er brachte alle Speise der sieben Jahre, die im Lande Ägypten waren, zusammen und gab die Speise in die Städte; die Speise von dem Felde, das rings um die Stadt war, gab er in ihre Mitte.

Y él juntó todo el mantenimiento de los siete años que fueron en la tierra de Egipto, y guardó mantenimiento en las ciudades, poniendo en cada ciudad el mantenimiento del campo de sus alrededores.

And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

Und Joseph häufte Getreide auf wie Sand am Meere, so sehr viel, daß er aufhörte zu zählen, denn es war ohne Zahl.

And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

Und dem Joseph wurden zwei Söhne geboren, ehe das Hungerjahr kam, die ihm gebar Asnath, die Tochter Potipheras, des Priesters von On.

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.

Und Joseph nannte den Namen des Erstgeborenen Menascheh; denn Gott, sprach er, ließ mich all mein Mühsal und das ganze Haus meines Vaters vergessen.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.

Und den Namen des zweiten nannte er Ephraim; denn Gott hat mich im Land meines Elends fruchtbar gemacht.
