Au bout de deux années entières, le Pharaon eut un songe, et voici, il se tenait près du fleuve.

Y ACONTECIÓ que pasados dos años tuvo Faraón un sueño: Parecíale que estaba junto al río;

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

Voici, sept vaches montèrent du fleuve. Elles étaient belles à voir et grasses de chair, et elles paissaient dans les roseaux.

Y que del río subían siete vacas, hermosas á la vista, y muy gordas, y pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

Behold, seven cattle came up out of the river. They were sleek and fat, and they fed in the marsh grass.

Voici, sept autres vaches montèrent du fleuve après elles, laides à voir et maigres de chair, et se tinrent à côté des autres vaches sur le bord du fleuve.

Y que otras siete vacas subían tras ellas del río, de fea vista, y enjutas de carne, y se pararon cerca de las vacas hermosas á la orilla del río:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.

Behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ugly and thin, and stood by the other cattle on the brink of the river.

Les vaches laides à voir et maigres de chair mangèrent les sept vaches belles et grasses. Alors le Pharaon s'éveilla.

Y que las vacas de fea vista y enjutas de carne devoraban á las siete vacas hermosas y muy gordas. Y despertó Faraón.

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

The ugly and thin cattle ate up the seven sleek and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.

Il se rendormit et eut un second songe ; et voici, sept épis de blé montèrent sur une seule tige, sains et bons.

Durmióse de nuevo, y soñó la segunda vez: Que siete espigas llenas y hermosas subían de una sola caña:

And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.

Voici, sept épis, maigres et brûlés par le vent d'est, poussèrent après eux.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas y abatidas del Solano, salían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.

Les épis maigres engloutirent les sept épis sains et pleins. Le Pharaon s'éveilla, et voici, c'était un songe.

Y las siete espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas gruesas y llenas. Y despertó Faraón, y he aquí que era sueño.

And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

Le matin, son esprit fut troublé, et il fit appeler tous les magiciens et les sages d'Égypte. Le Pharaon leur raconta ses songes, mais il n'y eut personne qui pût les interpréter au Pharaon.

Y acaeció que á la mañana estaba agitado su espíritu; y envió é hizo llamar á todos los magos de Egipto, y á todos sus sabios: y contóles Faraón sus sueños, mas no había quien á Faraón los declarase.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

Alors le grand échanson parla au Pharaon, en disant : « Je me souviens aujourd'hui de mes fautes.

Entonces el principal de los coperos habló á Faraón, diciendo: Acuérdome hoy de mis faltas:

Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.

Le Pharaon s'est mis en colère contre ses serviteurs, et il m'a mis aux arrêts dans la maison du chef des gardes, avec le grand panetier.

Faraón se enojó contra sus siervos, y á mí me echó á la prisión de la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, á mí y al principal de los panaderos:

Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:

Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, with the chief baker.

Nous avons eu un songe la même nuit, lui et moi. Chacun de nous a fait un songe ayant sa propre signification.

Y yo y él vimos un sueño una misma noche: cada uno soñó conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

We dreamed a dream in one night, he and I. Each man dreamed according to the interpretation of his dream.

Il y avait là avec nous un jeune homme, un Hébreu, serviteur du chef des gardes. Nous les lui avons racontés, et il nous a interprété nos songes. Il a donné à chacun l'interprétation de son songe.

Y estaba allí con nosotros un mozo Hebreo, sirviente del capitán de los de la guardia; y se lo contamos, y él nos declaró nuestros sueños, y declaró á cada uno conforme á su sueño.

And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

Les choses sont arrivées selon l'interprétation qu'il nous a donnée. Il m'a rétabli dans ma charge, et il a fait pendre l'autre. »

Y aconteció que como él nos declaró, así fué: á mí me hizo volver á mi puesto, é hizo colgar al otro.

And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.

Alors le Pharaon fit appeler Joseph, et on le fit sortir en hâte du cachot. Il se rasa, changea de vêtements, et se rendit vers le Pharaon.

Entonces Faraón envió y llamó á José; é hiciéronle salir corriendo de la cárcel, y le cortaron el pelo, y mudaron sus vestidos, y vino á Faraón.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

Le Pharaon dit à Joseph : « J'ai eu un songe, et il n'y a personne qui puisse l'interpréter. J'ai entendu dire de toi que, lorsque tu entends un songe, tu peux l'interpréter. »

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo he tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare; mas he oído decir de ti, que oyes sueños para declararlos.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

Joseph répondit au Pharaon, en disant : « Ce n'est pas moi. C'est Dieu qui donnera au Pharaon une réponse de paix. »

Y respondió José á Faraón, diciendo: No está en mí; Dios será el que responda paz á Faraón.

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Le Pharaon dit à Joseph : « Dans mon songe, voici, je me tenais sur le bord du fleuve ;

Entonces Faraón dijo á José: En mi sueño parecíame que estaba á la orilla del río:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, “In my dream, behold, I stood on the brink of the river;

et voici, sept vaches grasses de chair et belles à voir sont montées du fleuve. Elles paissaient dans les roseaux ;

Y que del río subían siete vacas de gruesas carnes y hermosa apariencia, que pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

and behold, seven fat and sleek cattle came up out of the river. They fed in the marsh grass;

et voici, sept autres vaches sont montées après elles, chétives, très laides à voir et maigres de chair, telles que je n'en ai jamais vu d'aussi laides dans tout le pays d'Égypte.

Y que otras siete vacas subían después de ellas, flacas y de muy fea traza; tan extenuadas, que no he visto otras semejantes en toda la tierra de Egipto en fealdad:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.

Les vaches maigres et laides ont mangé les sept premières vaches grasses ;

Y las vacas flacas y feas devoraban á las siete primeras vacas gruesas:

And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:

The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;

et quand elles les ont englouties, on ne pouvait pas savoir qu'elles les avaient englouties, car elles étaient toujours aussi laides qu'au début. Alors je me suis éveillé.

Y entraban en sus entrañas, mas no se conocía que hubiesen entrado en ellas, porque su parecer era aún malo, como de primero. Y yo desperté.

And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

J'ai vu dans mon songe, et voici, sept épis sont montés sur une seule tige, pleins et bons ;

Vi también soñando, que siete espigas subían en una misma caña llenas y hermosas;

And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:

I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;

et voici, sept épis, flétris, maigres et brûlés par le vent d'est, ont poussé après eux.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas, marchitas, abatidas del Solano, subían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:

and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Les épis maigres ont englouti les sept bons épis. Je l'ai dit aux magiciens, mais il n'y a personne qui puisse me l'expliquer. »

Y las espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas hermosas: y helo dicho á los magos, mas no hay quien me lo declare.

And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

Joseph dit au Pharaon : « Le songe du Pharaon est un. Ce que Dieu est sur le point de faire, il l'a révélé au Pharaon.

Entonces respondió José á Faraón: El sueño de Faraón es uno mismo: Dios ha mostrado á Faraón lo que va á hacer.

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

Les sept bonnes vaches sont sept années, et les sept bons épis sont sept années. Le songe est un.

Las siete vacas hermosas siete años son; y las espigas hermosas son siete años: el sueño es uno mismo.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good heads of grain are seven years. The dream is one.

Les sept vaches maigres et laides qui sont montées après elles sont sept années, et les sept épis vides, brûlés par le vent d'est, seront sept années de famine.

También las siete vacas flacas y feas que subían tras ellas, son siete años; y las siete espigas menudas y marchitas del Solano, siete años serán de hambre.

And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

The seven thin and ugly cattle that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty heads of grain blasted with the east wind; they will be seven years of famine.

C'est la chose que j'ai dite au Pharaon. Dieu a montré au Pharaon ce qu'il est sur le point de faire.

Esto es lo que respondo á Faraón. Lo que Dios va á hacer, halo mostrado á Faraón.

This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.

That is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Voici, il vient sept années de grande abondance dans tout le pays d'Égypte.

He aquí vienen siete años de grande hartura en toda la tierra de Egipto:

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

Behold, seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt are coming.

Sept années de famine se lèveront après elles, et toute l'abondance sera oubliée dans le pays d'Égypte. La famine consumera le pays,

Y levantarse han tras ellos siete años de hambre; y toda la hartura será olvidada en la tierra de Egipto; y el hambre consumirá la tierra;

And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

Seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will consume the land,

et l'abondance ne sera plus connue dans le pays à cause de cette famine qui suivra, car elle sera très cruelle.

Y aquella abundancia no se echará de ver á causa del hambre siguiente, la cual será gravísima.

And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.

and the plenty will not be known in the land by reason of that famine which follows; for it will be very grievous.

Si le songe a été répété deux fois au Pharaon, c'est que la chose est arrêtée par Dieu, et que Dieu se hâtera de l'exécuter.

Y el suceder el sueño á Faraón dos veces, significa que la cosa es firme de parte de Dios, y que Dios se apresura á hacerla.

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Maintenant donc, que le Pharaon cherche un homme intelligent et sage, et qu'il l'établisse sur le pays d'Égypte.

Por tanto, provéase ahora Faraón de un varón prudente y sabio, y póngalo sobre la tierra de Egipto.

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

Que le Pharaon agisse ainsi, qu'il nomme des commissaires sur le pays, et qu'il prélève le cinquième des récoltes du pays d'Égypte pendant les sept années d'abondance.

Haga esto Faraón, y ponga gobernadores sobre el país, y quinte la tierra de Egipto en los siete años de la hartura;

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt’s produce in the seven plenteous years.

Qu'ils rassemblent toute la nourriture de ces bonnes années qui viennent, qu'ils fassent des provisions de blé sous l'autorité du Pharaon pour la nourriture dans les villes, et qu'ils les gardent.

Y junten toda la provisión de estos buenos años que vienen, y alleguen el trigo bajo la mano de Faraón para mantenimiento de las ciudades; y guárdenlo.

And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

Cette nourriture servira de réserve au pays pour les sept années de famine qui seront dans le pays d'Égypte, afin que le pays ne périsse pas par la famine. »

Y esté aquella provisión en depósito para el país, para los siete años del hambre que serán en la tierra de Egipto; y el país no perecerá de hambre.

And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

The food will be to supply the land against the seven years of famine, which will be in the land of Egypt; so that the land will not perish through the famine.”

La chose parut bonne aux yeux du Pharaon, et aux yeux de tous ses serviteurs.

Y el negocio pareció bien á Faraón, y á sus siervos.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

Le Pharaon dit à ses serviteurs : « Pourrions-nous trouver un homme comme celui-ci, un homme en qui est l'Esprit de Dieu ? »

Y dijo Faraón á sus siervos: ¿Hemos de hallar otro hombre como éste, en quien haya espíritu de Dios?

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

Le Pharaon dit à Joseph : « Puisque Dieu t'a fait connaître toutes ces choses, il n'y a personne qui soit aussi intelligent et sage que toi.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Pues que Dios te ha hecho saber todo esto, no hay entendido ni sabio como tú:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

Tu seras établi sur ma maison. Tout mon peuple obéira à tes ordres. Je ne serai plus grand que toi que par le trône. »

Tú serás sobre mi casa, y por tu dicho se gobernará todo mi pueblo: solamente en el trono seré yo mayor que tú.

Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”

Le Pharaon dit à Joseph : « Voici, je t'établis sur tout le pays d'Égypte. »

Dijo más Faraón á José: He aquí yo te he puesto sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

Le Pharaon ôta son anneau de sa main, et le mit à la main de Joseph, et il le revêtit d'habits de fin lin, et lui mit un collier d'or autour du cou.

Entonces Faraón quitó su anillo de su mano, y púsolo en la mano de José, é hízole vestir de ropas de lino finísimo, y puso un collar de oro en su cuello;

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

Il le fit monter sur le second char qu'il avait. On criait devant lui : « À genoux ! » Il l'établit sur tout le pays d'Égypte.

And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Le Pharaon dit à Joseph : « Je suis le Pharaon. Sans toi, personne ne lèvera la main ni le pied dans tout le pays d'Égypte. »

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo Faraón; y sin ti ninguno alzará su mano ni su pie en toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. Without you, no man shall lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Le Pharaon appela Joseph du nom de Tsaphnath-Paenéach. Il lui donna pour femme Asnath, la fille de Poti-Phéra, prêtre d'On. Joseph partit parcourir le pays d'Égypte.

Y llamó Faraón el nombre de José, Zaphnath-paaneah; y dióle por mujer á Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On. Y salió José por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Joseph était âgé de trente ans lorsqu'il se tint devant le Pharaon, roi d'Égypte. Joseph sortit de la présence du Pharaon, et parcourut tout le pays d'Égypte.

Y era José de edad de treinta años cuando fué presentado delante de Faraón, rey de Egipto: y salió José de delante de Faraón, y transitó por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

Il rassembla toute la nourriture des sept années qui furent dans le pays d'Égypte, et il entreposa la nourriture dans les villes. Il entreposa dans chaque ville la nourriture des champs qui l'entouraient.

Y él juntó todo el mantenimiento de los siete años que fueron en la tierra de Egipto, y guardó mantenimiento en las ciudades, poniendo en cada ciudad el mantenimiento del campo de sus alrededores.

And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

Joseph amassa du blé comme le sable de la mer, en si grande quantité qu'il cessa de compter, car il n'y avait plus de nombre.

And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

Avant que l'année de famine n'arrive, il naquit à Joseph deux fils, que lui enfanta Asnath, la fille de Poti-Phéra, prêtre d'On.

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.

Joseph donna au premier-né le nom de Manassé, car, dit-il, « Dieu m'a fait oublier toute ma peine et toute la maison de mon père. »

Y llamó José el nombre del primogénito Manasés; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo olvidar todo mi trabajo, y toda la casa de mi padre.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.

Il donna au second le nom d'Éphraïm : « Car Dieu m'a rendu fécond dans le pays de mon affliction. »

Y el nombre del segundo llamólo Ephraim; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo fértil en la tierra de mi aflicción.

And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

The name of the second, he called Ephraim: “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

Les sept années d'abondance qu'il y eut dans le pays d'Égypte prirent fin.

Y cumpliéronse los siete años de la hartura, que hubo en la tierra de Egipto.

And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.
