Deux ans s`étant écoulés, Pharaon eut un songe. Voici, il se tenait près du fleuve,

Y ACONTECIÓ que pasados dos años tuvo Faraón un sueño: Parecíale que estaba junto al río;

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

At the end of two full years, Pharaoh dreamed, and behold, he stood by the river.

et voici que du fleuve montaient sept vaches belles à voir et grasses de chair, et elles se mirent à paître dans la verdure.

Y que del río subían siete vacas, hermosas á la vista, y muy gordas, y pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

Behold, seven cattle came up out of the river. They were sleek and fat, and they fed in the marsh grass.

Et voici qu`après elles montaient du fleuve sept autres vaches, laides à voir et maigres de chair, et elles vinrent se mettre à côté des vaches qui étaient sur le bord du fleuve.

Y que otras siete vacas subían tras ellas del río, de fea vista, y enjutas de carne, y se pararon cerca de las vacas hermosas á la orilla del río:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.

Behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ugly and thin, and stood by the other cattle on the brink of the river.

Et les vaches laides à voir et maigres de chair dévorèrent les sept vaches belles à voir et grasses. Alors Pharaon s`éveilla.

Y que las vacas de fea vista y enjutas de carne devoraban á las siete vacas hermosas y muy gordas. Y despertó Faraón.

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

The ugly and thin cattle ate up the seven sleek and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.

Il se rendormit, et il eut un second songe. Et voici, sept épis s`élevaient d`une même tige, gras et beaux.

Durmióse de nuevo, y soñó la segunda vez: Que siete espigas llenas y hermosas subían de una sola caña:

And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.

Et sept épis maigres et brûlés par le vent d`orient poussaient après ceux-là.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas y abatidas del Solano, salían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.

Behold, seven heads of grain, thin and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Et les épis maigres engloutirent les sept épis gras et pleins. Alors Pharaon s`éveilla. Et voilà, c`était un

Y las siete espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas gruesas y llenas. Y despertó Faraón, y he aquí que era sueño.

And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven healthy and full ears. Pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream.

Le matin, Pharaon eut l`esprit agité, et il fit appeler tous les scribes et tous les sages d`Egypte. Il leur raconta ses songes, mais personne ne put les expliquer à Pharaon.

Y acaeció que á la mañana estaba agitado su espíritu; y envió é hizo llamar á todos los magos de Egipto, y á todos sus sabios: y contóles Faraón sus sueños, mas no había quien á Faraón los declarase.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

Alors le chef des échansons, prenant la parole, dit à Pharaon : " Je vais rappeler aujourd`hui mes fautes.

Entonces el principal de los coperos habló á Faraón, diciendo: Acuérdome hoy de mis faltas:

Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.

Pharaon était irrité contre ses serviteurs, et il m`avait mis en prison dans la mai­son du chef des gardes, moi et le chef des panetiers.

Faraón se enojó contra sus siervos, y á mí me echó á la prisión de la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, á mí y al principal de los panaderos:

Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:

Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, with the chief baker.

Nous eûmes un songe dans la même nuit, moi et lui, nous rêvâmes chacun selon la signification de son songe.

Y yo y él vimos un sueño una misma noche: cada uno soñó conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

We dreamed a dream in one night, he and I. Each man dreamed according to the interpretation of his dream.

Il y avait là avec nous un jeune Hébreu, serviteur du chef des gardes. Nous lui ra­contâmes nos songes, et il nous en donna l`interprétation; à chacun il interpréta son songe,

Y estaba allí con nosotros un mozo Hebreo, sirviente del capitán de los de la guardia; y se lo contamos, y él nos declaró nuestros sueños, y declaró á cada uno conforme á su sueño.

And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

et les choses se passèrent comme il avait interprété : moi, Pharaon me réta­blit dans mon poste, et lui, on le pendit. "

Y aconteció que como él nos declaró, así fué: á mí me hizo volver á mi puesto, é hizo colgar al otro.

And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.

As he interpreted to us, so it was. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”

Pharaon envoya appeler Joseph, et on le fit sortir en hâte de la prison. Il se rasa, mit d`autres vêtements et se rendit vers Pharaon.

Entonces Faraón envió y llamó á José; é hiciéronle salir corriendo de la cárcel, y le cortaron el pelo, y mudaron sus vestidos, y vino á Faraón.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

Et Pharaon dit à Joseph : " J`ai eu un songe que personne ne peut interpréter ; et j`ai entendu dire de toi que, quand tu entends un songe, tu l`in­terprètes. "

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo he tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare; mas he oído decir de ti, que oyes sueños para declararlos.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

Joseph répondit à Pharaon en disant: " Ce n`est pas moi, c`est Dieu qui donnera une réponse favorable à Pharaon. "

Y respondió José á Faraón, diciendo: No está en mí; Dios será el que responda paz á Faraón.

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Pharaon dit alors à Joseph : " Dans mon songe, voici, je me tenais sur le bord du fleuve,

Entonces Faraón dijo á José: En mi sueño parecíame que estaba á la orilla del río:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, “In my dream, behold, I stood on the brink of the river;

et voici que du fleuve montaient sept vaches grasses de chair et de belle apparence, et elles se mirent à paître dans la verdure.

Y que del río subían siete vacas de gruesas carnes y hermosa apariencia, que pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

and behold, seven fat and sleek cattle came up out of the river. They fed in the marsh grass;

Et voici qu`après elles montaient sept autres vaches, maigres, fort laides d`aspect et décharnées; je n`en ai point vu de pareilles en laideur dans tout le pays d`Egypte.

Y que otras siete vacas subían después de ellas, flacas y de muy fea traza; tan extenuadas, que no he visto otras semejantes en toda la tierra de Egipto en fealdad:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.

Les vaches maigres et laides dévorèrent les sept premières vaches, celles qui étaient grasses ;

Y las vacas flacas y feas devoraban á las siete primeras vacas gruesas:

And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:

The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;

celles-ci entrèrent dans leur ventre, sans qu`il parût qu`elles y fussent entrées ; leur aspect était aussi laid qu`auparavant.

Y entraban en sus entrañas, mas no se conocía que hubiesen entrado en ellas, porque su parecer era aún malo, como de primero. Y yo desperté.

And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

Et je m`éveillai. Je vis encore en songe, et voici sept épis qui s`élevaient sur une même tige, pleins et

Vi también soñando, que siete espigas subían en una misma caña llenas y hermosas;

And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:

I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;

et voici, sept épis chétifs, maigres et brûlés par le vent d`orient, qui poussaient après ceux-là.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas, marchitas, abatidas del Solano, subían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:

and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Et les épis maigres engloutirent les sept beaux épis. J`ai raconté cela aux scribes, et aucun d`eux ne me l`explique. "

Y las espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas hermosas: y helo dicho á los magos, mas no hay quien me lo declare.

And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

Joseph dit à Pharaon : " Le songe de Pharaon est un ; Dieu a fait connaître à Pharaon ce qu`il va faire.

Entonces respondió José á Faraón: El sueño de Faraón es uno mismo: Dios ha mostrado á Faraón lo que va á hacer.

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

Les sept belles vaches sont sept années, et les sept beaux épis sont sept années, c`est un seul songe.

Las siete vacas hermosas siete años son; y las espigas hermosas son siete años: el sueño es uno mismo.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good heads of grain are seven years. The dream is one.

Les sept vaches chétives et laides qui montaient après elles sont sept années, et les sept épis vides, brûlés par le vent d`orient, seront sept années de famine.

También las siete vacas flacas y feas que subían tras ellas, son siete años; y las siete espigas menudas y marchitas del Solano, siete años serán de hambre.

And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

The seven thin and ugly cattle that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty heads of grain blasted with the east wind; they will be seven years of famine.

Telle est la parole que j`ai dite à Pharaon

Esto es lo que respondo á Faraón. Lo que Dios va á hacer, halo mostrado á Faraón.

This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.

That is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Dieu a fait voir à Pharaon ce qu`il va faire. Voici, sept années de grande abondance vont venir dans tout le pays d`Égypte.

He aquí vienen siete años de grande hartura en toda la tierra de Egipto:

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

Behold, seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt are coming.

Sept années de famine viendront ensuite, et l`on oubliera toute cette abondance dans le pays d`Égypte, et la famine consumera le pays.

Y levantarse han tras ellos siete años de hambre; y toda la hartura será olvidada en la tierra de Egipto; y el hambre consumirá la tierra;

And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

Seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will consume the land,

On ne s`apercevra plus de l`abondance à cause de cette famine qui suivra dans le pays ; tant elle sera grande.

Y aquella abundancia no se echará de ver á causa del hambre siguiente, la cual será gravísima.

And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.

and the plenty will not be known in the land by reason of that famine which follows; for it will be very grievous.

Et si le songe a été répété à Pharaon deux fois, c`est que la chose est décidée de la part de Dieu, et que Dieu se hâtera de l`exécuter.

Y el suceder el sueño á Faraón dos veces, significa que la cosa es firme de parte de Dios, y que Dios se apresura á hacerla.

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

The dream was doubled to Pharaoh, because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Maintenant, que Pharaon trouve un homme intelligent et sage, et qu`il l`établisse sur le pays d`Égypte.

Por tanto, provéase ahora Faraón de un varón prudente y sabio, y póngalo sobre la tierra de Egipto.

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

Que Pharaon établisse en outre des intendants sur le pays, pour lever un cinquième des récoltes du pays d`Égypte pendant les sept années d`abondance.

Haga esto Faraón, y ponga gobernadores sobre el país, y quinte la tierra de Egipto en los siete años de la hartura;

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt’s produce in the seven plenteous years.

Qu`ils rassem­blent tout le produit de ces bonnes années qui viennent ; qu`ils fassent des amas de blé à la disposition de Pharaon, comme provisions dans les villes, et qu`ils les conservent.

Y junten toda la provisión de estos buenos años que vienen, y alleguen el trigo bajo la mano de Faraón para mantenimiento de las ciudades; y guárdenlo.

And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

Let them gather all the food of these good years that come, and store grain under the hand of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it.

Ces provisions seront pour le pays une réserve pour les sept années de famine qui arriveront au pays d`Egvpte, et le pays ne sera pas consumé par la fa­mine. "

Y esté aquella provisión en depósito para el país, para los siete años del hambre que serán en la tierra de Egipto; y el país no perecerá de hambre.

And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

The food will be to supply the land against the seven years of famine, which will be in the land of Egypt; so that the land will not perish through the famine.”

Ces paroles plurent à Pharaon et à tous ses serviteurs.

Y el negocio pareció bien á Faraón, y á sus siervos.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

Et Pharaon dit à ses serviteurs : " Pourrions-nous trouver un homme pareil à celui-ci, ayant en lui l`esprit de Dieu? "

Y dijo Faraón á sus siervos: ¿Hemos de hallar otro hombre como éste, en quien haya espíritu de Dios?

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

Et Pharaon dit à Joseph : " Puisque Dieu t`a fait connaître toutes ces choses, il n`y a personne qui soit aussi intelligent et sage que toi.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Pues que Dios te ha hecho saber todo esto, no hay entendido ni sabio como tú:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

C`est toi qui gouverneras ma maison, et tout mon peuple obéira à ta bouche; par le trône seulement je serai plus grand que toi. "

Tú serás sobre mi casa, y por tu dicho se gobernará todo mi pueblo: solamente en el trono seré yo mayor que tú.

Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”

Et Pharaon dit à Joseph: " Voici que je t`établis sur tout le pays d`Égypte. "

Dijo más Faraón á José: He aquí yo te he puesto sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

Et Pha­raon ôta son anneau de sa main et le mit à la main de Joseph, et il le fit revêtir d`habits de fin lin et lui mit au cou un col­lier d`or.

Entonces Faraón quitó su anillo de su mano, y púsolo en la mano de José, é hízole vestir de ropas de lino finísimo, y puso un collar de oro en su cuello;

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

Il le fit monter sur le second de ses chars, et on criait devant lui : "A ge­noux ! " C`est ainsi qu il fut établi sur tout le pays d`Égypte.

E hízolo subir en su segundo carro, y pregonaron delante de él: Doblad la rodilla: y púsole sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Et Pharaon dit à Joseph : " Je suis Pharaon, et sans toi nul ne lèvera la main ni le pied dans tout le pays d`Égypte. "

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo Faraón; y sin ti ninguno alzará su mano ni su pie en toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. Without you, no man shall lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Pharaon nomma Joseph Tsaphnath-Panéach, et il lui donna pour femme Aseneth, fille de Putiphar, prêtre d`On. Et Joseph partit pour visiter le pays d`Égypte.

Y llamó Faraón el nombre de José, Zaphnath-paaneah; y dióle por mujer á Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On. Y salió José por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Joseph était âgé de trente ans lorsqu`il se présenta devant Pharaon, roi d`Égypte ; et il quitta Pharaon pour par­courir tout le pays d`Égypte.

Y era José de edad de treinta años cuando fué presentado delante de Faraón, rey de Egipto: y salió José de delante de Faraón, y transitó por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

La terre rapporta à pleines mains pendant les sept années d`abondance.

E hizo la tierra en aquellos siete años de hartura á montones.

And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.

Joseph rassembla tous les produits des sept bonnes années qu`il y eut au pays d`Égypte, et il fit des approvisionne­ments dans les villes, déposant dans l`intérieur de chaque ville les pro­ductions des champs d`alentour.

Y él juntó todo el mantenimiento de los siete años que fueron en la tierra de Egipto, y guardó mantenimiento en las ciudades, poniendo en cada ciudad el mantenimiento del campo de sus alrededores.

And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

Joseph amassa du blé comme le sable de la mer, en si grande quantité, qu`on cessa de compter, parce qu`il était sans nombre.

Y acopió José trigo como arena de la mar, mucho en extremo, hasta no poderse contar, porque no tenía número.

And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

Avant qu`arrivât l`année de famine, il naquit à Joseph deux fils, que lui enfanta Aseneth, fille de Putiphar, prêtre d`On.

Y nacieron á José dos hijos antes que viniese el primer año del hambre, los cuales le parió Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On.

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.

To Joseph were born two sons before the year of famine came, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On, bore to him.

Joseph donna au premier-né le nom de Manassé, " car, dit-il, Dieu m`a fait oublier toute ma peine et toute la maison de mon père. "

Y llamó José el nombre del primogénito Manasés; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo olvidar todo mi trabajo, y toda la casa de mi padre.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.

Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, “For”, he said, “God has made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.”

Il donna au second le nom d`Ephraïm, " car, dit-il, Dieu m`a fait fructifier dans le pays de mon afflic­tion. "

Y el nombre del segundo llamólo Ephraim; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo fértil en la tierra de mi aflicción.

And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

The name of the second, he called Ephraim: “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

Les sept années d`abondance qu`il y eut en Egypte étant achevées,

Y cumpliéronse los siete años de la hartura, que hubo en la tierra de Egipto.

And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.

The seven years of plenty, that were in the land of Egypt, came to an end.

les sept années de famine commencèrent à venir, comme Joseph l`avait annoncé. Il y eut famine dans tous les pays, tandis qu`il y avait du pain dans tout le pays d`Égypte.

Y comenzaron á venir los siete años del hambre, como José había dicho: y hubo hambre en todos los países, mas en toda la tierra de Egipto había pan.

And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

La famine étant sur toute la face du pays, Joseph ouvrit tous les greniers qu`on y avait établis et vendit du blé aux Egyptiens ; et la famine s`accrut dans le pays d`Égypte.

De toute la terre on venait en Egypte pour acheter du blé auprès de Joseph; car la famine s`était aggravée sur toute la terre.

Y toda la tierra venía á Egipto para comprar de José, porque por toda la tierra había crecido el hambre.

And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.
