Después de dos años, Faraón tuvo un sueño; y en su sueño estaba al lado del Nilo;

Y ACONTECIÓ que pasados dos años tuvo Faraón un sueño: Parecíale que estaba junto al río;

And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

At the end of two full years, Pharaoh dreamed, and behold, he stood by the river.

Y del Nilo salieron siete vacas, hermosas y gordas, y su comida era la hierba del río.

Y que del río subían siete vacas, hermosas á la vista, y muy gordas, y pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

Behold, seven cattle came up out of the river. They were sleek and fat, and they fed in the marsh grass.

Y después de ellos salieron otras siete vacas del Nilo, de aspecto pobre y delgado; y estaban al lado de las otras vacas.

Y que otras siete vacas subían tras ellas del río, de fea vista, y enjutas de carne, y se pararon cerca de las vacas hermosas á la orilla del río:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.

Behold, seven other cattle came up after them out of the river, ugly and thin, and stood by the other cattle on the brink of the river.

Y las siete vacas flacas hicieron una comida de las siete vacas gordas. Entonces Faraón salió de su sueño.

Y que las vacas de fea vista y enjutas de carne devoraban á las siete vacas hermosas y muy gordas. Y despertó Faraón.

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

The ugly and thin cattle ate up the seven sleek and fat cattle. So Pharaoh awoke.

Pero se fue a dormir otra vez y tuvo un segundo sueño, en el que vio siete cabezas de grano, llenas y buenas, todas en una misma raíz.

Durmióse de nuevo, y soñó la segunda vez: Que siete espigas llenas y hermosas subían de una sola caña:

And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.

He slept and dreamed a second time; and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, healthy and good.

Y después de ellos salían otras siete cabezas, delgadas y consumidas por el viento del este.

Y que otras siete espigas menudas y abatidas del Solano, salían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.

Behold, seven heads of grain, thin and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Y las siete cabezas delgadas hicieron una comida de las buenas cabezas. Y cuando Faraón despertó, vio que era un sueño.

Y las siete espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas gruesas y llenas. Y despertó Faraón, y he aquí que era sueño.

And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven healthy and full ears. Pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream.

Y a la mañana su espíritu se turbó; y envió e hizo llamar a todos los magos de Egipto y a todos los hombres santos, y les presentó su sueño, pero nadie fue capaz de darle su sentido.

Y acaeció que á la mañana estaba agitado su espíritu; y envió é hizo llamar á todos los magos de Egipto, y á todos sus sabios: y contóles Faraón sus sueños, mas no había quien á Faraón los declarase.

And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.

In the morning, his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all of Egypt’s magicians and wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

Entonces el siervo principal dijo a Faraón: El recuerdo de mi pecado vuelve a mí ahora;

Entonces el principal de los coperos habló á Faraón, diciendo: Acuérdome hoy de mis faltas:

Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

Then the chief cup bearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, “I remember my faults today.

Faraón se había enojado con sus siervos, y me había encerrado en la casa del capitán del ejército, junto con el jefe de la panadería;

Faraón se enojó contra sus siervos, y á mí me echó á la prisión de la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, á mí y al principal de los panaderos:

Pharaoh was wroth with his servants, and put me in ward in the captain of the guard’s house, both me and the chief baker:

Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, with the chief baker.

Y tuvimos un sueño en la misma noche, nosotros dos, y los sueños tenían un sentido especial.

Y yo y él vimos un sueño una misma noche: cada uno soñó conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

We dreamed a dream in one night, he and I. Each man dreamed according to the interpretation of his dream.

Y estaba con nosotros un joven hebreo, el siervo del capitán, y cuando pusimos nuestros sueños delante de él, él nos dio el sentido de ellos.

Y estaba allí con nosotros un mozo Hebreo, sirviente del capitán de los de la guardia; y se lo contamos, y él nos declaró nuestros sueños, y declaró á cada uno conforme á su sueño.

And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

Y aconteció que como él lo interpretó así fue: volví a estar en mi lugar, y al panadero lo mataron ahorcándolo.

And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged.

Entonces Faraón envió a buscar a José, y lo sacaron rápidamente de la cárcel; y cuando se le cortó el pelo y se le cambió la vestimenta, se presentó ante Faraón.

Entonces Faraón envió y llamó á José; é hiciéronle salir corriendo de la cárcel, y le cortaron el pelo, y mudaron sus vestidos, y vino á Faraón.

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

Y el Faraón dijo a José: He tenido un sueño, y nadie puede darme a entender; ahora me viene a la mente que eres capaz de dar la interpretación de un sueño cuando se te presenta.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo he tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare; mas he oído decir de ti, que oyes sueños para declararlos.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you, that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

Entonces dijo José: Sin Dios no habrá respuesta de paz para Faraón.

Y respondió José á Faraón, diciendo: No está en mí; Dios será el que responda paz á Faraón.

And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

Entonces Faraón dijo: En mi sueño yo estaba al lado del Nilo:

Entonces Faraón dijo á José: En mi sueño parecíame que estaba á la orilla del río:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:

Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, “In my dream, behold, I stood on the brink of the river;

Y del Nilo salieron siete vacas, gordas y hermosas, y su comida era hierba de ribera;

Y que del río subían siete vacas de gruesas carnes y hermosa apariencia, que pacían en el prado:

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

and behold, seven fat and sleek cattle came up out of the river. They fed in the marsh grass;

Después de ellos vinieron otras siete vacas, flacas y de aspecto pobre, peores que todas las que yo vi en la tierra de Egipto;

Y que otras siete vacas subían después de ellas, flacas y de muy fea traza; tan extenuadas, que no he visto otras semejantes en toda la tierra de Egipto en fealdad:

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.

Y las vacas flacas devoraban las siete vacas gordas que subieron primero;

Y las vacas flacas y feas devoraban á las siete primeras vacas gruesas:

And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:

The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;

Y aun con las vacas gordas dentro de ellos, parecían tan malos como antes. Y entonces salí de mi sueño.

Y entraban en sus entrañas, mas no se conocía que hubiesen entrado en ellas, porque su parecer era aún malo, como de primero. Y yo desperté.

And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

Y otra vez en un sueño, vi siete cabezas de grano, llenas y buenas, que subían en un tallo:

Vi también soñando, que siete espigas subían en una misma caña llenas y hermosas;

And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:

I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;

Y entonces vi otras siete cabezas, secas, delgadas, y desperdiciadas por el viento del este, que salían después ellas:

Y que otras siete espigas menudas, marchitas, abatidas del Solano, subían después de ellas:

And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:

and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.

Y las siete cabezas delgadas se comieron las siete cabezas buenas; y puse este sueño ante los sabios, pero ninguno de ellos fue capaz de darme el sentido.

Y las espigas menudas devoraban á las siete espigas hermosas: y helo dicho á los magos, mas no hay quien me lo declare.

And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

Entonces José dijo: Estos dos sueños tienen el mismo sentido: Dios le ha dejado claro a Faraón lo que está por hacer.

Entonces respondió José á Faraón: El sueño de Faraón es uno mismo: Dios ha mostrado á Faraón lo que va á hacer.

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

Las siete vacas gordas son siete años, y las siete cabezas buenas de grano son siete años: las dos tienen el mismo sentido.

Las siete vacas hermosas siete años son; y las espigas hermosas son siete años: el sueño es uno mismo.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

The seven good cattle are seven years; and the seven good heads of grain are seven years. The dream is one.

Las siete vacas flacas y de aspecto pobre que subieron tras ellas son siete años; y las siete cabezas de grano, secas y desperdiciadas por el viento del este, son siete años cuando no habrá comida.

También las siete vacas flacas y feas que subían tras ellas, son siete años; y las siete espigas menudas y marchitas del Solano, siete años serán de hambre.

And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

The seven thin and ugly cattle that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty heads of grain blasted with the east wind; they will be seven years of famine.

Como ya le dije a Faraón antes, Dios le ha aclarado lo que está a punto de hacer.

Esto es lo que respondo á Faraón. Lo que Dios va á hacer, halo mostrado á Faraón.

This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.

That is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

Siete años vendrán en los cuales habrá gran riqueza de grano en Egipto;

He aquí vienen siete años de grande hartura en toda la tierra de Egipto:

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

Behold, seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt are coming.

Y después de eso vendrán siete años cuando no habrá suficiente comida; y el recuerdo de los buenos años desaparecerá de las mentes de los hombres; y la tierra será destruida por los años malos;

Y levantarse han tras ellos siete años de hambre; y toda la hartura será olvidada en la tierra de Egipto; y el hambre consumirá la tierra;

And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

Seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt. The famine will consume the land,

Y los hombres no tendrán memoria del buen tiempo debido a la necesidad que vendrá después, porque será muy amargo.

Y aquella abundancia no se echará de ver á causa del hambre siguiente, la cual será gravísima.

And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grievous.

and the plenty will not be known in the land by reason of that famine which follows; for it will be very grievous.

Y este sueño vino a Faraón dos veces, porque esto es cierto, y Dios lo cumplirá.

Y el suceder el sueño á Faraón dos veces, significa que la cosa es firme de parte de Dios, y que Dios se apresura á hacerla.

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

The dream was doubled to Pharaoh, because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Y ahora el Faraón busque a un hombre sabio y sensato, y ponlo en autoridad sobre la tierra de Egipto.

Por tanto, provéase ahora Faraón de un varón prudente y sabio, y póngalo sobre la tierra de Egipto.

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

“Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

Haga esto Faraón, y haga que ponga sobre la tierra de Egipto supervisores para almacenar la quinta parte del producto de la tierra en los años buenos.

Haga esto Faraón, y ponga gobernadores sobre el país, y quinte la tierra de Egipto en los siete años de la hartura;

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint overseers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt’s produce in the seven plenteous years.

Y junten toda la comida en aquellos buenos años, y hagan un almacén de grano bajo el control de Faraón para el uso de las ciudades, y que lo guarden.

Y junten toda la provisión de estos buenos años que vienen, y alleguen el trigo bajo la mano de Faraón para mantenimiento de las ciudades; y guárdenlo.

And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

Let them gather all the food of these good years that come, and store grain under the hand of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it.

Y que se guarde la comida de la tierra hasta los siete años malos que han de venir en Egipto; para que la tierra no se destruya por la necesidad de alimento.

Y esté aquella provisión en depósito para el país, para los siete años del hambre que serán en la tierra de Egipto; y el país no perecerá de hambre.

And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

The food will be to supply the land against the seven years of famine, which will be in the land of Egypt; so that the land will not perish through the famine.”

Y esto le pareció bien a Faraón y a todos sus siervos.

Y el negocio pareció bien á Faraón, y á sus siervos.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

Entonces el Faraón dijo a sus siervos: ¿Dónde podemos encontrar un hombre como este, un hombre en quien está el espíritu de Dios?

Y dijo Faraón á sus siervos: ¿Hemos de hallar otro hombre como éste, en quien haya espíritu de Dios?

And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?

Y Faraón dijo a José: Viendo que Dios te ha aclarado todo esto, no hay otro hombre de tanta sabiduría y buen juicio como tú:

Y dijo Faraón á José: Pues que Dios te ha hecho saber todo esto, no hay entendido ni sabio como tú:

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

Tú, pues, estarás sobre mi casa, y todo tu pueblo será gobernado por tu palabra; solamente como rey yo seré más grande que tú.

Tú serás sobre mi casa, y por tu dicho se gobernará todo mi pueblo: solamente en el trono seré yo mayor que tú.

Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”

Y Faraón dijo a José: Mira que te he puesto sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

Dijo más Faraón á José: He aquí yo te he puesto sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”

Entonces Faraón se quitó el anillo de su mano y lo puso en la mano de José, y lo vistió con el mejor lino, y puso una cadena de oro alrededor de su cuello;

Entonces Faraón quitó su anillo de su mano, y púsolo en la mano de José, é hízole vestir de ropas de lino finísimo, y puso un collar de oro en su cuello;

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck.

Y le hizo tomar asiento en el segundo de sus carruajes; y se fueron delante de él gritando, ¡cede! Entonces lo hizo gobernador de toda la tierra de Egipto.

E hízolo subir en su segundo carro, y pregonaron delante de él: Doblad la rodilla: y púsole sobre toda la tierra de Egipto.

And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

Entonces Faraón dijo a José: Yo soy Faraón; y sin tu orden ningún hombre puede hacer nada en toda la tierra de Egipto.

Y dijo Faraón á José: Yo Faraón; y sin ti ninguno alzará su mano ni su pie en toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. Without you, no man shall lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Y el Faraón le dio a José el nombre de Zafnat-panea; y le dio a Asenat, la hija de Potifera, el sacerdote de On, para que fuera su esposa. Entonces José recorrió toda la tierra de Egipto.

Y llamó Faraón el nombre de José, Zaphnath-paaneah; y dióle por mujer á Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On. Y salió José por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphenath-Paneah. He gave him Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On as a wife. Joseph went out over the land of Egypt.

Y José tenía treinta años cuando vino delante de Faraón, rey de Egipto. Y salió José de delante de Faraón, y recorrió toda la tierra de Egipto.

Y era José de edad de treinta años cuando fué presentado delante de Faraón, rey de Egipto: y salió José de delante de Faraón, y transitó por toda la tierra de Egipto.

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

Ahora bien, en los siete buenos años la tierra dio fruto en en abundancia.

And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.

Y José juntó todo el alimento de aquellos siete años, e hizo una tienda de comida en las ciudades; el producto de los campos alrededor de cada ciudad estaba almacenado en la ciudad.

Y él juntó todo el mantenimiento de los siete años que fueron en la tierra de Egipto, y guardó mantenimiento en las ciudades, poniendo en cada ciudad el mantenimiento del campo de sus alrededores.

And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was round about every city, laid he up in the same.

Y armó un almacén de grano como la arena del mar; una tienda tan grande que después de un tiempo dejó de medirlo, ya que no podría medirse.

Y acopió José trigo como arena de la mar, mucho en extremo, hasta no poderse contar, porque no tenía número.

And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.

Joseph laid up grain as the sand of the sea, very much, until he stopped counting, for it was without number.

Y antes del tiempo de necesidad, José tuvo dos hijos, a quienes dio a luz Asenat, hija de Poti-fera, sacerdote de On.

Y nacieron á José dos hijos antes que viniese el primer año del hambre, los cuales le parió Asenath, hija de Potipherah, sacerdote de On.

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.

To Joseph were born two sons before the year of famine came, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On, bore to him.

Y al primero le dio el nombre de Manasés, porque dijo: Dios me ha quitado todo recuerdo de mi vida dura y de la casa de mi padre.

Y llamó José el nombre del primogénito Manasés; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo olvidar todo mi trabajo, y toda la casa de mi padre.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.

Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, “For”, he said, “God has made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.”

Y al segundo le dio el nombre de Efraín, porque dijo: Dios me ha dado fruto en la tierra de mi dolor.

Y el nombre del segundo llamólo Ephraim; porque Dios (dijo) me hizo fértil en la tierra de mi aflicción.

And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

The name of the second, he called Ephraim: “For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.”

Y así los siete años buenos en Egipto llegaron a su fin.

Y cumpliéronse los siete años de la hartura, que hubo en la tierra de Egipto.

And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.

The seven years of plenty, that were in the land of Egypt, came to an end.

Luego vino el primero de los siete años de necesidad, como José había dicho; y en todas las demás tierras les faltaba comida; pero en la tierra de Egipto había pan.

Y comenzaron á venir los siete años del hambre, como José había dicho: y hubo hambre en todos los países, mas en toda la tierra de Egipto había pan.

And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

The seven years of famine began to come, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

Y cuando toda la tierra de Egipto necesitaba alimento, el pueblo clamó a Faraón por pan; y Faraón dijo a la gente, vayan a José, y hagan lo que él les diga.

Y cuando se sintió el hambre en toda la tierra de Egipto, el pueblo clamó á Faraón por pan. Y dijo Faraón á todos los Egipcios: Id á José, y haced lo que él os dijere.

And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said unto all the Egyptians, Go unto Joseph; what he saith to you, do.

Y en toda la tierra les faltaba comida; luego José, abriendo todas sus tiendas, dio al pueblo grano de Egipto por dinero; tan grande era la necesidad de comida en la tierra de Egipto.

Y el hambre estaba por toda la extensión del país. Entonces abrió José todo granero donde había, y vendía á los Egipcios; porque había crecido el hambre en la tierra de Egipto.

And the famine was over all the face of the earth: and Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold unto the Egyptians; and the famine waxed sore in the land of Egypt.

The famine was over all the surface of the earth. Joseph opened all the store houses, and sold to the Egyptians. The famine was severe in the land of Egypt.

Y todas las naciones de los alrededores enviadas a Egipto, venían a José para comprar grano, porque la hambruna era grande sobre toda la tierra.

Y toda la tierra venía á Egipto para comprar de José, porque por toda la tierra había crecido el hambre.

And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was so sore in all lands.

All countries came into Egypt, to Joseph, to buy grain, because the famine was severe in all the earth.
