Génesis 40

Und es geschah nach diesen Dingen, daß der Mundschenk des Königs von Ägypten und der Bäcker an ihrem Herrn, dem Könige von Ägypten, sündigten.

Y ACONTECIÓ después de estas cosas, que el copero del rey de Egipto y el panadero delinquieron contra su señor el rey de Egipto.

And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

Und Pharao war entrüstet über seine beiden Hofbeamten, über den Obersten der Mundschenken und über den Obersten der Bäcker;

Y enojóse Faraón contra sus dos eunucos, contra el principal de los coperos, y contra el principal de los panaderos:

And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief cup bearer and the chief baker.

Und gab sie in Gewahrsam in das Haus des Obersten der Leibwachen, in das Gefängnishaus, an den Ort, in dem Joseph gebunden war.

Y púsolos en prisión en la casa del capitán de los de la guardia, en la casa de la cárcel donde José estaba preso.

And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

Und der Oberste der Leibwachen bestellte Joseph bei ihnen, daß er ihnen Dienst tun sollte, und sie waren etliche Tage in Gewahrsam.

Y el capitán de los de la guardia dió cargo de ellos á José, y él les servía: y estuvieron días en la prisión.

And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.

The captain of the guard assigned them to Joseph, and he took care of them. They stayed in prison many days.

Und sie träumten beide einen Traum, jeder Mann seinen Traum, in einer Nacht, jeder nach der Deutung seines Traums, der Mundschenk und der Bäcker, die der König von Ägypten hatte, und die gebunden waren in dem Gefängnishaus.

Y ambos á dos, el copero y el panadero del rey de Egipto, que estaban arrestados en la prisión, vieron un sueño, cada uno su sueño en una misma noche, cada uno conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

Und am Morgen kam Joseph zu ihnen hinein und sah sie und siehe, sie waren verdrossen.

Y vino á ellos José por la mañana, y mirólos, y he aquí que estaban tristes.

And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

Und er fragte die Hofbeamten Pharaos, die mit ihm in dem Gewahrsam des Hauses seines Herrn waren und sagte: Warum ist euer Angesicht heute böse?

Y él preguntó á aquellos eunucos de Faraón, que estaban con él en la prisión de la casa de su señor, diciendo: ¿Por qué parecen hoy mal vuestros semblantes?

And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?

He asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in custody in his master’s house, saying, “Why do you look so sad today?”

Und sie sprachen zu ihm: Wir haben einen Traum geträumt, und niemand ist da, der ihn deute. Joseph aber sprach zu ihnen: Gehören Deutungen nicht Gott zu? Erzählt sie mir doch.

Y ellos le dijeron: Hemos tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare. Entonces les dijo José: ¿No son de Dios las declaraciones? Contádmelo ahora.

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

They said to him, “We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

Und der Oberste der Mundschenken erzählte dem Joseph seinen Traum und sprach zu ihm: In meinem Traume siehe, da war ein Weinstock vor mir;

Entonces el principal de los coperos contó su sueño á José, y díjole: Yo soñaba que veía una vid delante de mí,

And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;

The chief cup bearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,

Und an dem Weinstock waren drei Reben; und es war, als sproßte er, seine Blüte ging auf und seine Trauben ließen die Weinbeeren reifen.

Y en la vid tres sarmientos; y ella como que brotaba, y arrojaba su flor, viniendo á madurar sus racimos de uvas:

And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:

Und Pharaos Becher war in meiner Hand, und ich nahm die Weinbeeren und drückte sie aus in den Becher Pharaos, und ich gab den Becher in Pharaos Hand.

Y que la copa de Faraón estaba en mi mano, y tomaba yo las uvas, y las exprimía en la copa de Faraón, y daba yo la copa en mano de Faraón.

And Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.

Und Joseph sprach zu ihm: Dies ist seine Deutung: Die drei Reben, sie sind drei Tage.

Y díjole José: Esta es su declaración: Los tres sarmientos son tres días:

And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:

Joseph said to him, “This is its interpretation: the three branches are three days.

In noch drei Tagen wird Pharao dein Haupt aufheben und dich in deine Stelle zurückbringen, und du wirst den Becher Pharaos in seine Hand geben in der früheren Weise, da du sein Mundschenk warst.

Al cabo de tres días Faraón te hará levantar cabeza, y te restituirá á tu puesto: y darás la copa á Faraón en su mano, como solías cuando eras su copero.

Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.

Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cup bearer.

Aber möchtest du meiner bei dir gedenken, wenn es gut bei dir ist, und Barmherzigkeit an mir tun, und meiner bei Pharao gedenken, daß du mich aus diesem Hause herausbrächtest.

Acuérdate, pues, de mí para contigo cuando tuvieres ese bien, y ruégote que uses conmigo de misericordia, y hagas mención de mí á Faraón, y me saques de esta casa:

But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

But remember me when it is well with you. Please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.

Denn gestohlen bin ich worden aus dem Lande der Hebräer, und auch hier habe ich nichts getan, daß sie mich in die Grube legten.

Porque hurtado he sido de la tierra de los Hebreos; y tampoco he hecho aquí porqué me hubiesen de poner en la cárcel.

For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

Und der Oberste der Bäcker sah, daß er gut gedeutet hatte, und sprach zu Joseph: Auch ich war in meinem Traum, und siehe, drei durchbrochene Körbe waren auf meinem Haupte.

Y viendo el principal de los panaderos que había declarado para bien, dijo á José: También yo soñaba que veía tres canastillos blancos sobre mi cabeza;

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “I also was in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.

Und in dem obersten Korb waren von allen Speisen Pharaos, die der Bäcker macht, und das Gevögel fraß sie aus dem Korb von meinem Haupt.

Y en el canastillo más alto había de todas las viandas de Faraón, obra de panadero; y que las aves las comían del canastillo de sobre mi cabeza.

And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

In the uppermost basket there were all kinds of baked food for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.”

Und Joseph antwortete und sprach: Dies ist seine Deutung: Die drei Körbe, sie sind drei Tage.

Entonces respondió José, y dijo: Esta es su declaración: Los tres canastillos tres días son;

And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:

Joseph answered, “This is its interpretation. The three baskets are three days.

In noch drei Tagen wird Pharao dein Haupt von dir aufheben und dich ans Holz hängen, und das Gevögel wird dein Fleisch von dir fressen.

Al cabo de tres días quitará Faraón tu cabeza de sobre ti, y te hará colgar en la horca, y las aves comerán tu carne de sobre ti.

Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.

Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from off you.”

Und es geschah am dritten Tage, Pharaos Geburtstag, daß er allen seinen Knechten ein Gastmahl machte; und er hob auf das Haupt des Obersten der Mundschenken und das Haupt des Obersten der Bäcker inmitten seiner Knechte.

Y fué el tercero día el día del nacimiento de Faraón, é hizo banquete á todos sus sirvientes: y alzó la cabeza del principal de los coperos, y la cabeza del principal de los panaderos, entre sus servidores.

And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

On the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, he made a feast for all his servants, and he lifted up the head of the chief cup bearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants.

Und brachte den Obersten der Mundschenken in sein Mundschenkenamt zurück, und er gab den Becher in Pharaos Hand;

E hizo volver á su oficio al principal de los coperos; y dió él la copa en mano de Faraón.

And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:

He restored the chief cup bearer to his position again, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand;

Aber den Obersten der Bäcker ließ er hängen, wie ihnen Joseph gedeutet hatte.

Mas hizo ahorcar al principal de los panaderos, como le había declarado José.

But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

but he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Aber der Oberste der Mundschenken gedachte nicht an Joseph, und vergaß sein.

Y el principal de los coperos no se acordó de José, sino que le olvidó.

Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

Yet the chief cup bearer didn’t remember Joseph, but forgot him.
