And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?

Y ellos le dijeron: Hemos tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare. Entonces les dijo José: ¿No son de Dios las declaraciones? Contádmelo ahora.
And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

Le grand échanson raconta son songe à Joseph, et lui dit : « Dans mon songe, voici, un cep de vigne était devant moi,

Dans trois jours encore, Pharaon relèvera ta tête et te rétablira dans ta charge. Tu mettras la coupe de Pharaon dans sa main, comme tu le faisais autrefois quand tu étais son échanson.
Al cabo de tres días Faraón te hará levantar cabeza, y te restituirá á tu puesto: y darás la copa á Faraón en su mano, como solías cuando eras su copero.
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cup bearer.
Mais souviens-toi de moi quand tu seras heureux. Fais preuve de bonté envers moi, je te prie, parle de moi à Pharaon, et fais-moi sortir de cette maison.
Acuérdate, pues, de mí para contigo cuando tuvieres ese bien, y ruégote que uses conmigo de misericordia, y hagas mención de mí á Faraón, y me saques de esta casa:
But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

Car en vérité, j'ai été enlevé de la terre des Hébreux, et ici non plus je n'ai rien fait pour qu'on me mette dans ce cachot. »

Al cabo de tres días quitará Faraón tu cabeza de sobre ti, y te hará colgar en la horca, y las aves comerán tu carne de sobre ti.
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.

Le troisième jour, jour de l'anniversaire de la naissance de Pharaon, il fit un festin pour tous ses serviteurs, et il éleva la tête du grand échanson et la tête du grand panetier au milieu de ses serviteurs.

And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:

mais il fit pendre le grand panetier, selon l'interprétation que Joseph leur avait donnée.
Mas hizo ahorcar al principal de los panaderos, como le había declarado José.
But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Cependant, le grand échanson ne se souvint pas de Joseph, mais il l'oublia.
Y el principal de los coperos no se acordó de José, sino que le olvidó.
