And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.

Ambos sonharam um sonho — o copeiro e o padeiro do rei do Egito os quais estavam na prisão — cada homem sonhou seu próprio sonho, na mesma noite, e cada sonho teve sua própria interpretação.
Y ambos á dos, el copero y el panadero del rey de Egipto, que estaban arrestados en la prisión, vieron un sueño, cada uno su sueño en una misma noche, cada uno conforme á la declaración de su sueño.

Quando José foi até eles pela manhã, observou que eles estavam tristes.

Y él preguntó á aquellos eunucos de Faraón, que estaban con él en la prisión de la casa de su señor, diciendo: ¿Por qué parecen hoy mal vuestros semblantes?
And he asked Pharaoh’s officers that were with him in the ward of his lord’s house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?

Eles responderam: "Nós tivemos um sonho e ninguém consegue interpretá-lo". José disse para eles: "Não pertencem a Deus as interpretações? Contai-me por favor".
Y ellos le dijeron: Hemos tenido un sueño, y no hay quien lo declare. Entonces les dijo José: ¿No son de Dios las declaraciones? Contádmelo ahora.
And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.
They said to him, “We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them, “Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”
O copeiro chefe contou seu sonho a José dizendo: "No meu sonho, contemplava uma videira na minha frente.
Entonces el principal de los coperos contó su sueño á José, y díjole: Yo soñaba que veía una vid delante de mí,
And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;
The chief cup bearer told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “In my dream, behold, a vine was in front of me,
Na videira, havia três ramos. Enquanto ela estava brotando, suas flores saíram e seus cachos davam uvas maduras.
Y en la vid tres sarmientos; y ella como que brotaba, y arrojaba su flor, viniendo á madurar sus racimos de uvas:
And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:

A taça de Faraó estava na minha mão. Eu peguei as uvas e as expremi na taça de Faraó e coloquei a taça em suas mãos".

José disse a ele: esta é a interpretação desse sonho: "Os três ramos são três dias.

And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:
Joseph said to him, “This is its interpretation: the three branches are three days.
Dentro de três dias, Faraó erguerá sua cabeça e te mudará de posição, restaurando-te como oficial dele. Tu servirás a taça de Faraó nas mãos dele, como quando eras seu copeiro.
Al cabo de tres días Faraón te hará levantar cabeza, y te restituirá á tu puesto: y darás la copa á Faraón en su mano, como solías cuando eras su copero.
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head, and restore you to your office. You will give Pharaoh’s cup into his hand, the way you did when you were his cup bearer.
Mas lembra-te de mim quando estiver tudo bem contigo; peço-te que tenhas compaixão, falando de mim a Faraó e tira-me desta prisão.
Acuérdate, pues, de mí para contigo cuando tuvieres ese bien, y ruégote que uses conmigo de misericordia, y hagas mención de mí á Faraón, y me saques de esta casa:
But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
But remember me when it is well with you. Please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.
De fato, eu fui sequestrado da terra dos hebreus. Aqui também não fiz nada para que me colocassem nesta prisão".
Porque hurtado he sido de la tierra de los Hebreos; y tampoco he hecho aquí porqué me hubiesen de poner en la cárcel.

Quando o padeiro chefe viu que a interpretação era favorável, ele disse a José: "Eu também tive um sonho, e contemplei três cestas de pão na minha cabeça.

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:

Na cesta do topo, havia todos os tipos de assados para Faraó, mas os pássaros comeram da cesta que estava na minha cabeça".
Y en el canastillo más alto había de todas las viandas de Faraón, obra de panadero; y que las aves las comían del canastillo de sobre mi cabeza.
And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

José respondeu e disse: "Esta é a interpretação: as três cestas são três dias.
Entonces respondió José, y dijo: Esta es su declaración: Los tres canastillos tres días son;
And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:
Joseph answered, “This is its interpretation. The three baskets are three days.
Dentro de três dias, Faraó erguerá a tua cabeça e serás enforcado em uma árvore e as aves comerão a tua carne".
Al cabo de tres días quitará Faraón tu cabeza de sobre ti, y te hará colgar en la horca, y las aves comerán tu carne de sobre ti.
Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
Within three more days, Pharaoh will lift up your head from off you, and will hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from off you.”
No terceiro dia, era o aniversário do Faraó. Ele deu um banquete para todos os seus servos. Ele "levantou" a cabeça do copeiro-mor e a cabeça do padeiro-mor entre seus servos.
Y fué el tercero día el día del nacimiento de Faraón, é hizo banquete á todos sus sirvientes: y alzó la cabeza del principal de los coperos, y la cabeza del principal de los panaderos, entre sus servidores.
And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

Ele reabilitou o copeiro-mor para a sua responsabilidade e este colocou a taça na mão de Faraó novamente.
E hizo volver á su oficio al principal de los coperos; y dió él la copa en mano de Faraón.
And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand:
He restored the chief cup bearer to his position again, and he gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand;
Mas ele enforcou o padeiro-mor, assim como José havia interpretado para eles.
Mas hizo ahorcar al principal de los panaderos, como le había declarado José.
But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Mas o copeiro-mor não se lembrou de José; ele o esqueceu.
Y el principal de los coperos no se acordó de José, sino que le olvidó.
Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
Yet the chief cup bearer didn’t remember Joseph, but forgot him.
