Die Schlange jedoch war listig, wie kein anderes unter den Tieren des Feldes, welche Jahwe Gott gemacht hatte, und sie sprach zu dem Weibe: Hat Gott wirklich gesagt: Ihr dürft von keinem der Bäume des Gartens essen?
EMPERO la serpiente era astuta, más que todos los animales del campo que Jehová Dios había hecho; la cual dijo á la mujer: ¿Conque Dios os ha dicho: No comáis de todo árbol del huerto?
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Now the serpent was more subtle than any animal of the field which the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat of any tree of the garden’?”
Da sprach das Weib zu der Schlange: Von den Früchten der Bäume des Gartens dürfen wir essen.
Y la mujer respondió á la serpiente: Del fruto de los árboles del huerto comemos;
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

Aber von den Früchten des Baums, der mitten im Garten steht, - von denen hat Gott gesagt, dürft ihr nicht essen und dürft sie nicht anrühren, sonst müßt ihr sterben!
Mas del fruto del árbol que está en medio del huerto dijo Dios: No comeréis de él, ni le tocaréis, porque no muráis.
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Da sprach die Schlange zum Weibe: Ihr werdet ganz gewiß nicht sterben;
Entonces la serpiente dijo á la mujer: No moriréis;
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
The serpent said to the woman, “You won’t really die,
sondern Gott weiß gar wohl: sobald ihr davon eßt, da werden euch die Augen aufgethan, daß ihr werdet, wie Gott, erkennend Gutes und Böses.
Mas sabe Dios que el día que comiereis de él, serán abiertos vuestros ojos, y seréis como dioses sabiendo el bien y el mal.
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Da nun das Weib sah, daß der Baum gut zum Essen und eine Lust für die Augen und daß der Baum begehrenswert sei, um durch ihn klug zu werden, da nahm sie von seinen Früchten und aß und gab auch ihrem Manne, der bei ihr war, und er aß.
Y vió la mujer que el árbol era bueno para comer, y que era agradable á los ojos, y árbol codiciable para alcanzar la sabiduría; y tomó de su fruto, y comió; y dió también á su marido, el cual comió así como ella.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Da wurden ihrer beiden Augen aufgethan und sie wurden gewahr, daß sie nackt seien; da nähten sie Feigenblätter zusammen und machten sich Schürze.

Als sie nun die Tritte Jahwes Gottes hörten, der in der Abendkühle im Garten wandelte, da suchte sich der Mensch mit seinem Weibe vor Jahwe Gott zu verstecken unter den Bäumen des Gartens.
Y oyeron la voz de Jehová Dios que se paseaba en el huerto al aire del día: y escondióse el hombre y su mujer de la presencia de Jehová Dios entre los árboles del huerto.
And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Da rief Jahwe Gott den Menschen an und sprach zu ihm: Wo bist du?
Y llamó Jehová Dios al hombre, y le dijo: ¿Dónde estás tú?
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
The LORD God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?”
Da sprach er: Ich hörte deine Tritte im Garten; da fürchtete ich mich, weil ich nackt bin, und versteckte mich.
Y él respondió: Oí tu voz en el huerto, y tuve miedo, porque estaba desnudo; y escondíme.
And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
The man said, “I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; so I hid myself.”
Da sprach er: Wer hat dir verraten, daß du nackt bist? Hast du von dem Baume, von dem zu essen ich dir verboten habe, doch gegessen?
Y díjole: ¿Quién te enseñó que estabas desnudo? ¿Has comido del árbol de que yo te mandé no comieses?
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
God said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
Da sprach der Mensch: Das Weib, das du mir beigesellt hast, die gab mir von dem Baume und ich aß.
Y el hombre respondió: La mujer que me diste por compañera me dió del árbol, y yo comí.
And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
Da sprach Jahwe Gott zu dem Weibe: Was hast du gethan! Das Weib sprach: Die Schlange verführte mich, daß ich aß.
Entonces Jehová Dios dijo á la mujer: ¿Qué es lo que has hecho? Y dijo la mujer: La serpiente me engañó, y comí.
And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
The LORD God said to the woman, “What have you done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
Da sprach Jahwe Gott zur Schlange: Weil du solches gethan hast, sollst du verflucht sein unter allem Vieh und unter allen Tieren des Feldes: auf deinem Bauche sollst du kriechen und Erde fressen dein Leben lang!
Y Jehová Dios dijo á la serpiente: Por cuanto esto hiciste, maldita serás entre todas las bestias y entre todos los animales del campo; sobre tu pecho andarás, y polvo comerás todos los días de tu vida:
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
The LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.
Und ich will Feindschaft setzen zwischen dir und dem Weibe und zwischen deinem Samen und ihrem Samen; er wird dir den Kopf zermalmen und du wirst ihm die Ferse zermalmen.
Y enemistad pondré entre ti y la mujer, y entre tu simiente y la simiente suya; ésta te herirá en la cabeza, y tú le herirás en el calcañar.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel.”
Zum Weibe aber sprach er: Ich will dir viel Mühsal bereiten mit Schwangerschaften; mit Schmerzen sollst du Kinder gebären. Und nach deinem Manne wirst du verlangen, er aber soll Herr sein über dich!
A la mujer dijo: Multiplicaré en gran manera tus dolores y tus preñeces; con dolor parirás los hijos; y á tu marido será tu deseo, y él se enseñoreará de ti.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
To the woman he said, “I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth. You will bear children in pain. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
Und zum Menschen sprach er: Weil du der Stimme deines Weibes gehorcht und von dem Baume gegessen hast, von dem ich dir gebot und sprach: Du sollst nicht von ihm essen! so soll nun der Acker verflucht sein um deinetwillen; unter Mühsal sollst du dich von ihm nähren dein Leben lang.
Y al hombre dijo: Por cuanto obedeciste á la voz de tu mujer, y comiste del árbol de que te mandé diciendo, No comerás de él; maldita será la tierra por amor de ti; con dolor comerás de ella todos los días de tu vida;
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
To Adam he said, “Because you have listened to your wife’s voice, and have eaten from the tree, about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ the ground is cursed for your sake. You will eat from it with much labor all the days of your life.
Dornen und Gestrüpp soll er dir tragen; und du sollst das Kraut des Feldes essen.
Espinos y cardos te producirá, y comerás hierba del campo;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
It will yield thorns and thistles to you; and you will eat the herb of the field.
Im Schweiße deines Angesichts sollst du dein Brod essen, bis du zum Erdboden zurückkehrst, denn ihm bist du entnommen. Denn Erde bist du und zu Erde mußt du wieder werden!

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
You will eat bread by the sweat of your face until you return to the ground, for you were taken out of it. For you are dust, and you shall return to dust.”
Und der Mensch gab seinem Weibe den Namen Eva, denn sie wurde die Stammutter aller Lebendigen.
Y llamó el hombre el nombre de su mujer, Eva; por cuanto ella era madre de todos los vivientes.

Und Jahwe Gott machte dem Menschen und seinem Weibe Röcke von Fell und zog sie ihnen an.
Y Jehová Dios hizo al hombre y á su mujer túnicas de pieles, y vistiólos.
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
The LORD God made garments of animal skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them.
Und Jahwe Gott sprach: Fürwahr, der Mensch ist geworden wie unsereiner, indem er Gutes und Böses erkennt; daß er nunmehr nur nicht etwa seine Hand ausstreckt und auch von dem Baume des Lebens nimmt und ißt und ewiglich lebt!
Y dijo Jehová Dios: He aquí el hombre es como uno de Nos sabiendo el bien y el mal: ahora, pues, porque no alargue su mano, y tome también del árbol de la vida, y coma, y viva para siempre:
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
The LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand, and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever—”
Da entfernte ihn Jahwe Gott aus dem Garten Eden, damit er den Boden bebaue, dem er entnommen war.
Y sacólo Jehová del huerto de Edén, para que labrase la tierra de que fué tomado.

Da trieb er den Menschen aus und ließ östlich vom Garten Eden die Kerube sich lagern und die Flamme des zuckenden Schwerts, um den Weg zum Baume des Lebens zu bewachen.
Echó, pues, fuera al hombre, y puso al oriente del huerto de Edén querubines, y una espada encendida que se revolvía á todos lados, para guardar el camino del árbol de la vida.
