Er aber weigerte sich und sprach zu dem Weibe seines Herrn: Siehe, mein Herr weiß um nichts bei mir, was im Hause ist, und hat alles, was er hat, in meine Hand gegeben.

Und es geschah, daß sie mit Joseph redete Tag für Tag, er hörte aber nicht auf sie, daß er neben ihr läge und bei ihr wäre.
Y fué que hablando ella á José cada día, y no escuchándola él para acostarse al lado de ella, para estar con ella,
And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

Und es geschah eines Tages, daß er in das Haus kam, um sein Werk zu tun, und kein Mann von den Männern des Hauses war dort im Hause.
Aconteció que entró él un día en casa para hacer su oficio, y no había nadie de los de casa allí en casa:
