Génesis 39

Und Josef wurde nach Ägypten hinabgebracht, und es kaufte ihn Potifar, ein Beamter (Hofbeamter, Eunuch) †des Pharaos, der Anführer (Führer) der Leibwächter, ein ägyptischer Mann (Ägypter), aus der Hand der Ismaeliter, die ihn dorthin hinabgebracht hatten.

Y LLEVADO José á Egipto, comprólo Potiphar, eunuco de Faraón, capitán de los de la guardia, varón Egipcio, de mano de los Ismaelitas que lo habían llevado allá.

And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.

Joseph was brought down to Egypt. Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh’s, the captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the hand of the Ishmaelites that had brought him down there.

Und es war JHWH mit Josef, und er (Josef) wurde ein erfolgreicher (Erfolg habender) Mann. Und er war im Haus seinen Herren, des Ägypters (seines ägyptischen Herrn).

Mas Jehová fué con José, y fué varón prosperado: y estaba en la casa de su señor el Egipcio.

And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

Und es sah sein Herr, dass JHWH mit ihm war. {Und} Alles, was er machte (tat), ließ JHWH {in seiner Hand} gelingen (glücken, erfolgreich sein).

Y vió su señor que Jehová era con él, y que todo lo que él hacía, Jehová lo hacía prosperar en su mano.

And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

Und es fand Josef Gnade in seinen Augen, und er diente ihm. Und er machte ihn zum Aufseher (ließ ihn beaufsichtigen) über sein Haus. {Und} Alles, was ihm gehörte, gab er in seine Hand.

Así halló José gracia en sus ojos, y servíale; y él le hizo mayordomo de su casa, y entregó en su poder todo lo que tenía.

And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

Joseph found favor in his sight. He ministered to him, and Potiphar made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

Und es war (begab sich) damals (von da an, seitdem, nachdem), als er ihn zum Aufseher machte über sein Haus (in seinem Haus) und über alles, was ihm gehörte, †da segnete JHWH das Haus des Ägypters wegen Josef. Und es war der Segen JHWHs auf (mit, in) allem, was ihm gehörte, im Haus und auf dem Feld.

Y aconteció que, desde cuando le dió el encargo de su casa, y de todo lo que tenía, Jehová bendijo la casa del Egipcio á causa de José; y la bendición de Jehová fué sobre todo lo que tenía, así en casa como en el campo.

And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.

From the time that he made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake. The LORD’s blessing was on all that he had, in the house and in the field.

Und er ließ alles, was er hatte (besaß), in der Hand Josefs (überließ alles ... der Aufsicht Josefs). Und er wusste mit ihm (seitdem/da er ihn hatte) nichts †mehr von seinen eigenen Angelegenheiten, außer †von dem Brot, das er †gerade aß. Und es war Josef schön von Statur (Gestalt) und {schön von} Aussehen.

Y dejó todo lo que tenía en mano de José; ni con él sabía de nada más que del pan que comía. Y era José de hermoso semblante y bella presencia.

And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.

He left all that he had in Joseph’s hand. He didn’t concern himself with anything, except for the food which he ate. Joseph was well-built and handsome.

Und {es begab sich (geschah, war)} nach diesen Ereignissen (Begebenheiten) {dass} erhob (fand Gefallen an Josef, begehrte Josef, betrachtete mit Begehren) die Frau seines Herrn ihre Augen zu Josef. Und sie sagte zu ihm: Schlaf †doch mit mir!

Y aconteció después de esto, que la mujer de su señor puso sus ojos en José, y dijo: Duerme conmigo.

And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.

After these things, his master’s wife set her eyes on Joseph; and she said, “Lie with me.”

Und er weigerte sich und sagte zur Frau seines Herrn: Siehe, mein Herr weiß mit mir (seitdem er mich hat) nicht †mehr, was im Haus†halt †Sache ist / geschieht. {Und} Alles, was ihm gehört, hat er in meine Hand gegeben (unter meine Aufsicht gestellt).

Y él no quiso, y dijo á la mujer de su señor: He aquí que mi señor no sabe conmigo lo que hay en casa, y ha puesto en mi mano todo lo que tiene:

But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;

But he refused, and said to his master’s wife, “Behold, my master doesn’t know what is with me in the house, and he has put all that he has into my hand.

Er ist nicht größer (mächtiger) in diesem Haus als ich, und er verweigert mir nichts (enthält mir nichts vor) außer dir, weil du seine Frau †bist. {Und} Wie könnte (kann) ich †also diese (eine solch) große Boshaftigkeit tun und vor Gott sündigen?

No hay otro mayor que yo en esta casa, y ninguna cosa me ha reservado sino á ti, por cuanto tú eres su mujer; ¿cómo, pues, haría yo este grande mal, y pecaría contra Dios?

There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

No one is greater in this house than I am, and he has not kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”

†So begab es sich (geschah es), dass sie Tag zu Tag zu Josef redete (versuchte, Josef zu überreden), er aber nicht auf sie hörte †und sich weigerte, neben ihr zu liegen (mit/neben ihr zu schlafen), mit ihr zu sein.

Y fué que hablando ella á José cada día, y no escuchándola él para acostarse al lado de ella, para estar con ella,

And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

As she spoke to Joseph day by day, he didn’t listen to her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

Und {es geschah (begab sich)} an seinem solchen Tag (an diesem Tag) kam er nach Hause (ins Haus), um seine Arbeit (seinen Dienst) zu tun, und es †war niemand von den Männern (Dienern) des Hauses dort {im Haus}.

Aconteció que entró él un día en casa para hacer su oficio, y no había nadie de los de casa allí en casa:

And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.

About this time, he went into the house to do his work, and there were none of the men of the house inside.

Und sie ergriff (hielt) ihn an seinem Gewand (seiner Kleidung) und sagte: Schlaf †doch mit mir! Und er ließ sein Gewand in ihrer Hand (bei ihr) und floh (flüchtete) und zog (ging) hinaus auf die Straße.

Y asiólo ella por su ropa, diciendo: Duerme conmigo. Entonces dejóla él su ropa en las manos, y huyó, y salióse fuera.

And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

She caught him by his garment, saying, “Lie with me!” He left his garment in her hand, and ran outside.

Und {es geschah (begab sich),} als sie sah, dass er sein Gewand in ihrer Hand ließ und †hinaus auf die Straße floh (flüchtete),

Y acaeció que cuando vió ella que le había dejado su ropa en sus manos, y había huído fuera,

And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,

When she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and had run outside,

da rief sie die Männer ihres Hauses und sagte zu ihnen {Folgendes}: Seht, er hat zu uns einen Hebräer gebracht, damit er uns verhöhnt (mit uns Scherze/Mutwillen treibt, sich über uns lustig macht)! Er ist zu mir gekommen, um mit mir zu schlafen, und (aber) ich rief mit lauter (großer) Stimme †um Hilfe!

Llamó á los de casa, y hablóles diciendo: Mirad, nos ha traído un Hebreo, para que hiciese burla de nosotros: vino él á mí para dormir conmigo, y yo dí grandes voces;

That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:

she called to the men of her house, and spoke to them, saying, “Behold, he has brought a Hebrew in to us to mock us. He came in to me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice.

Und {es geschah,} als er hörte, dass ich meine Stimme erhob und rief (schrie), da ließ er sein Gewand neben mir zurück und floh und zog hinaus auf die Straße.

Y viendo que yo alzaba la voz y gritaba, dejó junto á mí su ropa, y huyó, y salióse fuera.

And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.

When he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment by me, and ran outside.”

Und sie ließ sein Gewand bei (neben) ihr liegen (bewahrte sein Gewand auf), bis sein Herr in sein Haus kam.

Y ella puso junto á sí la ropa de él, hasta que vino su señor á su casa.

And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home.

Und sie sprach zu ihm nach diesen Worten {folgendermaßen}: Es ist zu mir gekommen der hebräische Sklave, den du zu uns gebracht (geholt) hast, um mich zu verhöhnen.

Entonces le habló ella semejantes palabras, diciendo: El siervo Hebreo que nos trajiste, vino á mí para deshonrarme;

And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:

She spoke to him according to these words, saying, “The Hebrew servant, whom you have brought to us, came in to me to mock me,

Und {es geschah,} †gleich nachdem ich meine Stimme erhoben und gerufen hatte, da ließ er sein Gewand neben mir †zurück und floh (flüchtete) †hinaus auf die Straße.

Y como yo alcé mi voz y grité, él dejó su ropa junto á mí, y huyó fuera.

And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.

and as I lifted up my voice and cried, he left his garment by me, and ran outside.”

Und {es geschah,} als sein Herr die Worte seiner Frau hörte, die sie zu ihm gesagt hatte {folgendermaßen}: So (gemäß diesen Worten) ist dein Sklave mit mir umgegangen (hat dein Sklave mir getan)!, da entbrannte sein Zorn.

Y sucedió que como oyó su señor las palabras que su mujer le hablara, diciendo: Así me ha tratado tu siervo; encendióse su furor.

And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.

When his master heard the words of his wife, which she spoke to him, saying, “This is what your servant did to me,” his wrath was kindled.

Und der Herr Josefs ergriff ihn (ließ ihn ergreifen) und gab ihn (ließ ihn bringen/werfen) ins Gefängnis, den Ort, wo die Gefangenen des Königs (Pharaos) festgehalten (in Haft gehalten) wurden. †So war er dort im Gefängnis.

Y tomó su señor á José, y púsole en la casa de la cárcel, donde estaban los presos del rey, y estuvo allí en la casa de la cárcel.

And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

Und es war JHWH mit (bei) Josef und wendete †sich ihm †in Güte (Treue) zu, und er gab (schenkte) ihm Gnade (Wohlwollen) in den Augen des Gefängnisvorstehers (Gefängnisleiters, Kerkermeisters)

Mas Jehová fué con José, y extendió á él su misericordia, y dióle gracia en ojos del principal de la casa de la cárcel.

But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

Und es gab (stellte) der Gefängnisvorsteher alle Häftlinge (Gefangenen), die im Gefängnis waren, in die Hand (unter die Aufsicht) Josefs: {Und} Alles, was man dort tat (dort getan wurde), geschah unter Josefs Aufsicht (Leitung).

Y el principal de la casa de la cárcel entregó en mano de José todos los presos que había en aquella prisión; todo lo que hacían allí, él lo hacía.

And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

Der Gefängnisvorsteher †brauchte nichts davon zu sehen (überwachen), †was in seiner (Josefs) Hand †war, denn JHWH war mit ihm. Und was †auch immer er tat: JHWH ließ es gelingen (brachte es zum Erfolg).

No veía el principal de la cárcel cosa alguna que en su mano estaba; porque Jehová era con él, y lo que él hacía, Jehová lo prosperaba.

The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.
