Und er überließ Joseph sein gesamtes Eigentum und kümmerte sich neben ihm um gar nichts, nur daß er aß und trank. Joseph aber war schön von Gestalt und schön von Antlitz.

Y dejó todo lo que tenía en mano de José; ni con él sabía de nada más que del pan que comía. Y era José de hermoso semblante y bella presencia.

And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.

He left all that he had in Joseph’s hand. He didn’t concern himself with anything, except for the food which he ate. Joseph was well-built and handsome.
