Et quoiqu'elle parlât à Joseph tous les jours, il ne voulait point l'écouter, pour coucher auprès d'elle et avoir commerce avec elle ;

Y fué que hablando ella á José cada día, y no escuchándola él para acostarse al lado de ella, para estar con ella,

And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.

As she spoke to Joseph day by day, he didn’t listen to her, to lie by her, or to be with her.
