1E estas são as gerações de Esaú, o qual é Edom.
2Esaú tomou suas mulheres das filhas de Canaã: a Ada, filha de Elom heteu, e a Oolibama, filha de Aná, filha de Zibeão os heveus;
3E a Basemate, filha de Ismael, irmã de Nebaiote.
4E Ada deu à luz de Esaú a Elifaz; e Basemate deu à luz a Reuel.
5E Oolibama deu à luz a Jeús, e a Jalão, e a Corá: estes são os filhos de Esaú, que lhe nasceram na terra de Canaã.
6E Esaú tomou suas mulheres, e seus filhos, e suas filhas, e todas as pessoas de sua casa, e seus gados, e todos seus animais, e todos os seus pertences que havia adquirido na terra de Canaã, e foi-se a outra terra de diante de Jacó seu irmão.
7Porque a riqueza deles era grande, e não podiam habitar juntos, nem a terra de sua peregrinação os podia sustentar por causa de seus gados.
8E Esaú habitou no monte de Seir: Esaú é Edom.
9Estas são as linhagens de Esaú, pai de Edom, no monte de Seir.
10Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Esaú: Elifaz, filho de Ada, mulher de Esaú; Reuel, filho de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
11E os filhos de Elifaz foram Temã, Omar, Zefô, Gatã, e Quenaz.
12E Timna foi concubina de Elifaz, filho de Esaú, a qual lhe deu à luz a Amaleque: estes são os filhos de Ada, mulher de Esaú.
13E os filhos de Reuel foram Naate, Zerá, Samá, e Mizá: estes são os filhos de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
14Estes foram os filhos de Oolibama, mulher de Esaú, filha de Aná, que foi filha de Zibeão: ela deu à luz de Esaú a Jeús, Jalão, e Corá.
15Estes são os duques dos filhos de Esaú. Filhos de Elifaz, primogênito de Esaú: o duque Temã, o duque Omar, o duque Zefô, o duque Quenaz,
16O duque Corá, o duque Gatã, e o duque Amaleque: estes são os duques de Elifaz na terra de Edom; estes foram os filhos de Ada.
17E estes são os filhos de Reuel, filho de Esaú: o duque Naate, o duque Zerá, o duque Samá, e o duque Mizá: estes são os duques da linha de Reuel na terra de Edom; estes filhos vêm de Basemate, mulher de Esaú.
18E estes são os filhos de Oolibama, mulher de Esaú: o duque Jeús, o duque Jalão, e o duque Corá: estes foram os duques que saíram de Oolibama, mulher de Esaú, filha de Aná.
19Estes, pois, são os filhos de Esaú, e seus duques: ele é Edom.
20E estes são os filhos de Seir horeu, moradores daquela terra: Lotã, Sobal, Zibeão, Aná,
21Disom, Eser, e Disã: estes são os duques dos horeus, filhos de Seir na terra de Edom.
22Os filhos de Lotã foram Hori e Hemã; e Timna foi irmã de Lotã.
23E os filhos de Sobal foram Alvã, Manaate, Ebal, Sefô, e Onã.
24E os filhos de Zibeão foram Aiá, e Aná. Este Aná é o que descobriu as fontes termais no deserto, quando apascentava os asnos de Zibeão seu pai.
25Os filhos de Aná foram Disom, e Oolibama, filha de Aná.
26E estes foram os filhos de Disom: Hendã, Esbã, Itrã, e Querã.
27E estes foram os filhos de Eser: Bilã, Zaavã, e Acã.
28Estes foram os filhos de Disã: Uz, e Harã.
29E estes foram os duques dos horeus: o duque Lotã, o duque Sobal, o duque Zibeão, o duque Aná.
30O duque Disom, o duque Eser, o duque Disã: estes foram os duques dos horeus: por seus ducados na terra de Seir.
31E os reis que reinaram na terra de Edom, antes que reinasse rei sobre os filhos de Israel, foram estes:
32Belá, filho de Beor, reinou em Edom: e o nome de sua cidade foi Dinabá.
33E morreu Belá, e reinou em seu lugar Jobabe, filho de Zerá, de Bozra.
34E morreu Jobabe, e em seu lugar reinou Husão, da terra de Temã.
35E morreu Husão, e reinou em seu lugar Hadade, filho de Bedade, o que feriu a Midiã no campo de Moabe: e o nome de sua cidade foi Avite.
36E morreu Hadade, e em seu lugar reinou Samlá, de Masreca.
37E morreu Samlá, e reinou em seu lugar Saul, de Reobote do rio.
38E morreu Saul, e em seu lugar reinou Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor.
39E morreu Baal-Hanã, filho de Acbor, e reinou Hadar em seu lugar: e o nome de sua cidade foi Paú; e o nome de sua mulher Meetabel, filha de Matrede, filha de Mezaabe.
40Estes, pois, são os nomes dos duques de Esaú por suas linhagens, por seus lugares, e seus nomes: o duque Timna, o duque Alva, o duque Jetete,
41O duque Oolibama, o duque Elá, o duque Pinom,
42O duque Quenaz, o duque Temã, o duque Mibzar,
43O duque Magdiel, e o duque Hirão. Estes foram os duques de Edom por suas habitações na terra de sua possessão. Edom é o mesmo Esaú, pai dos edomitas.

2Esaú tomó sus mujeres de las hijas de Canaán: á Ada, hija de Elón Hetheo, y á Aholibama, hija de Ana, hija de Zibeón el Heveo;
3Y á Basemath, hija de Ismael, hermana de Navaioth.
4Y Ada parió á Esaú á Eliphaz; y Basemath parió á Reuel.
5Y Aholibama parió á Jeús, y á Jaalam, y á Cora: estos son los hijos de Esaú, que le nacieron en la tierra de Canaán.
6Y Esaú tomó sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus hijas, y todas las personas de su casa, y sus ganados, y todas sus bestias, y toda su hacienda que había adquirido en la tierra de Canaán, y fuése á otra tierra de delante de Jacob su hermano:
7Porque la hacienda de ellos era grande, y no podían habitar juntos, ni la tierra de su peregrinación los podía sostener á causa de sus ganados.
8Y Esaú habitó en el monte de Seir: Esaú es Edom.
9Estos son los linajes de Esaú, padre de Edom, en el monte de Seir.
10Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Esaú: Eliphaz, hijo de Ada, mujer de Esaú; Reuel, hijo de Basemath, mujer de Esaú.
11Y los hijos de Eliphaz fueron Temán, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, y Cenaz.
12Y Timna fué concubina de Eliphaz, hijo de Esaú, la cual le parió á Amalec: estos son los hijos de Ada, mujer de Esaú.
13Y los hijos de Reuel fueron Nahath, Zera, Samma, y Mizza: estos son los hijos de Basemath, mujer de Esaú.
14Estos fueron los hijos de Aholibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana, que fué hija de Zibeón: ella parió á Esaú á Jeús, Jaalam, y Cora.
15Estos son los duques de los hijos de Esaú. Hijos de Eliphaz, primogénito de Esaú: el duque Temán, el duque Omar, el duque Zepho, el duque Cenaz,
16El duque Cora, el duque Gatam, y el duque Amalec: estos son los duques de Eliphaz en la tierra de Edom; estos fueron los hijos de Ada.
17Y estos son los hijos de Reuel, hijo de Esaú: el duque Nahath, el duque Zera, el duque Samma, y el duque Mizza: estos son los duques de la línea de Reuel en la tierra de Edom; estos hijos vienen de Basemath, mujer de Esaú.
18Y estos son los hijos de Aholibama, mujer de Esaú: el duque Jeús, el duque Jaalam, y el duque Cora: estos fueron los duques que salieron de Aholibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Ana.
19Estos, pues, son los hijos de Esaú, y sus duques: él es Edom.
20Y estos son los hijos de Seir Horeo, moradores de aquella tierra: Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Ana,
21Disón, Ezer, y Disán: estos son los duques de los Horeos, hijos de Seir en la tierra de Edom.
22Los hijos de Lotán fueron Hori y Hemán; y Timna fué hermana de Lotán.
23Y los hijos de Sobal fueron Alván, Manahath, Ebal, Sepho, y Onán.
24Y los hijos de Zibeón fueron Aja, y Ana. Este Ana es el que descubrió los mulos en el desierto, cuando apacentaba los asnos de Zibeón su padre.
25Los hijos de Ana fueron Disón, y Aholibama, hija de Ana.
26Y estos fueron los hijos de Disón: Hemdán, Eshbán, Ithram, y Cherán.
27Y estos fueron los hijos de Ezer: Bilhán, Zaaván, y Acán.
28Estos fueron los hijos de Disán: Huz, y Arán.
29Y estos fueron los duques de los Horeos: el duque Lotán, el duque Sobal, el duque Zibeón, el duque Ana,
30El duque Disón, el duque Ezer, el duque Disán: estos fueron los duques de los Horeos: por sus ducados en la tierra de Seir.
31Y los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel, fueron estos:
32Bela, hijo de Beor, reinó en Edom: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Dinaba.
33Y murió Bela, y reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Zera, de Bosra.
34Y murió Jobab, y en su lugar reinó Husam, de tierra de Temán.
35Y murió Husam, y reinó en su lugar Adad, hijo de Badad, el que hirió á Midián en el campo de Moab: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Avith.
36Y murió Adad, y en su lugar reinó Samla, de Masreca.
37Y murió Samla, y reinó en su lugar Saúl, de Rehoboth del Río.
38Y murió Saúl, y en lugar suyo reinó Baalanán, hijo de Achbor.
39Y murió Baalanán, hijo de Achbor, y reinó Adar en lugar suyo: y el nombre de su ciudad fué Pau; y el nombre de su mujer Meetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.
40Estos, pues, son los nombres de los duques de Esaú por sus linajes, por sus lugares, y sus nombres: el duque Timna, el duque Alva, el duque Jetheth,
41El duque Aholibama, el duque Ela, el duque Pinón,
42El duque Cenaz, el duque Temán, el duque Mibzar,
43El duque Magdiel, y el duque Hiram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom por sus habitaciones en la tierra de su posesión. Edom es el mismo Esaú, padre de los Idumeos.

1Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.
2Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite;
3And Bashemath Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth.
4And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;
5And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
6And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the land of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob.
7For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the land wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle.
8Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
9And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir:
10These are the names of Esau’s sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.
11And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
12And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau’s son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau’s wife.
13And these are the sons of Reuel; Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.
14And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
15These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; duke Teman, duke Omar, duke Zepho, duke Kenaz,
16Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.
17And these are the sons of Reuel Esau’s son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau’s wife.
18And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
19These are the sons of Esau, who is Edom, and these are their dukes.
20These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
21And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
22And the children of Lotan were Hori and Hemam; and Lotan’s sister was Timna.
23And the children of Shobal were these; Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24And these are the children of Zibeon; both Ajah, and Anah: this was that Anah that found the mules in the wilderness, as he fed the asses of Zibeon his father.
25And the children of Anah were these; Dishon, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.
26And these are the children of Dishon; Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27The children of Ezer are these; Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
28The children of Dishan are these; Uz, and Aran.
29These are the dukes that came of the Horites; duke Lotan, duke Shobal, duke Zibeon, duke Anah,
30Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the land of Seir.
31And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.

4Adah bore to Esau Eliphaz. Basemath bore Reuel.
5Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the members of his household, with his livestock, all his animals, and all his possessions, which he had gathered in the land of Canaan, and went into a land away from his brother Jacob.
7For their substance was too great for them to dwell together, and the land of their travels couldn’t bear them because of their livestock.
8Esau lived in the hill country of Seir. Esau is Edom.
9This is the history of the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir:
10these are the names of Esau’s sons: Eliphaz, the son of Adah, the wife of Esau; and Reuel, the son of Basemath, the wife of Esau.

21Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
22The children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. Lotan’s sister was Timna.
23These are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
24These are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.
25These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
