Dieu dit ensuite à Jacob : Lève-toi, pars pour Béthel, établis là ta demeure et élève en ce lieu un autel au Dieu qui t'y est apparu, lorsque tu fuyais Esaü ton frère.

Y DIJO Dios á Jacob: Levántate, sube á Beth-el, y estáte allí; y haz allí un altar al Dios que te apareció cuando huías de tu hermano Esaú.

And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Beth-el, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.

God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel, and live there. Make there an altar to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esau your brother.”

Jacob alors dit aux siens et à tous ceux qui étaient avec lui : Faites disparaître du milieu de vous les dieux étrangers qui s'y trouvent ; purifiez- vous et changez de vêtement.

Entonces Jacob dijo á su familia y á todos los que con él estaban: Quitad los dioses ajenos que hay entre vosotros, y limpiaos, y mudad vuestros vestidos.

Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

Puis, levons-nous, allons à Béthel ; nous y bâtirons un autel au Dieu qui m'a exaucé en un jour d'affliction, à celui qui fut avec moi, et qui m'a sauvé dans la voie où je marchais.

Y levantémonos, y subamos á Beth-el; y haré allí altar al Dios que me respondió en el día de mi angustia, y ha sido conmigo en el camino que he andado.

And let us arise, and go up to Beth-el; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

Ils donnèrent donc à Jacob les dieux étrangers qui étaient entre leurs mains, ainsi que les pendants d'oreilles. Jacob les enfouit sous le térébinthe des Sécimes, et on ne les a jamais retrouvés jusqu'à ce jour.

Así dieron á Jacob todos los dioses ajenos que había en poder de ellos, y los zarzillos que estaban en sus orejas; y Jacob los escondió debajo de una encina, que estaba junto á Sichêm.

And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

Israël décampa de la terre des Sécimes, et une terreur causée par Dieu tomba sur toutes les villes des alentours, en sorte que les fils de Jacob ne furent point poursuivis.

Y partiéronse, y el terror de Dios fué sobre las ciudades que había en sus alrededores, y no siguieron tras los hijos de Jacob.

And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.

Et Jacob ainsi que tout le peuple qui étais avec lui arrivèrent à Luza, la même que Béthel, en la terre de Chanaan.

Y llegó Jacob á Luz, que está en tierra de Canaán, (esta es Beth-el) él y todo el pueblo que con él estaba;

So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Beth-el, he and all the people that were with him.

Il y bâtit un autel, et il donna à ce lieu le nom de Béthel, parce que c'est là que le Seigneur lui était paru, quand il fuyait Esaü son frère.

Y edificó allí un altar, y llamó al lugar El-Beth-el, porque allí le había aparecido Dios, cuando huía de su hermano.

And he built there an altar, and called the place El-beth-el: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

Cependant Déborra, la nourrice de Rachel, mourut, et elle fut ensevelie sous un chêne au-dessous de Béthel, et Jacob nomma l'arbre Chêne de deuil.

Entonces murió Débora, ama de Rebeca, y fué sepultada á las raíces de Beth-el, debajo de una encina: y llamóse su nombre Allon-Bacuth.

But Deborah Rebekah’s nurse died, and she was buried beneath Beth-el under an oak: and the name of it was called Allon-bachuth.

Or, Dieu apparut encore à Jacob en Luza, à son retour de la Mésopotamie Syrienne, et Dieu le bénit,

Y aparecióse otra vez Dios á Jacob, cuando se había vuelto de Padan-aram, y bendíjole.

And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padan-aram, and blessed him.

And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

God said to him, “Your name is Jacob. Your name shall not be Jacob any more, but your name will be Israel.” He named him Israel.

Dieu lui dit : Je suis ton Dieu : crois et multiplie ; des nations et des réunions de nations proviendront de toi, et des rois sortiront de tes reins.

Y díjole Dios: Yo soy el Dios Omnipotente: crece y multiplícate; una nación y conjunto de naciones procederá de ti, y reyes saldrán de tus lomos:

And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

God said to him, “I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply. A nation and a company of nations will be from you, and kings will come out of your body.

La terre que j'ai donnée à Abraham et Isaac, je te la donne ; elle sera à toi, et après toi je donnerai cette terre à ta race.

Y la tierra que yo he dado á Abraham y á Isaac, la daré á ti: y á tu simiente después de ti daré la tierra.

And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

The land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give it to you, and to your offspring after you I will give the land.”

Après quoi, Dieu s'éloigna de lui et du lieu où il avait parlé.

Y fuése de él Dios, del lugar donde con él había hablado.

Aussitôt, Jacob, au lieu même où Dieu lui avait parlé, dressa une colonne de pierre sur laquelle il répandit des libations et versa de l'huile.

Y Jacob erigió un título en el lugar donde había hablado con él, un título de piedra, y derramó sobre él libación, y echó sobre él aceite.

And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.

Et il nomma Béthel le lieu où Dieu lui avait parlé.

Y llamó Jacob el nombre de aquel lugar donde Dios había hablado con él, Beth-el.

And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Beth-el.

Jacob called the name of the place where God spoke with him “Bethel”.

Ensuite ayant décampé de Béthel, Jacob, dressa ses tentes au delà de la tour de Gader. Comme il approchait de Habrath pour arriver en Éphratha, Rachel enfanta, et elle souffrit beaucoup dans l'enfantement.

Y partieron de Beth-el, y había aún como media legua de tierra para llegar á Ephrata, cuando parió Rachêl, y hubo trabajo en su parto.

And they journeyed from Beth-el; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.

They traveled from Bethel. There was still some distance to come to Ephrath, and Rachel travailed. She had hard labor.

Il advint, pendant qu'elle enfantait ainsi péniblement, que la sage-femme lui dit : Prends courage, c'est un fils.

Y aconteció, que como había trabajo en su parir, díjole la partera: No temas, que también tendrás este hijo.

And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.

When she was in hard labor, the midwife said to her, “Don’t be afraid, for now you will have another son.”

Or, au moment où son âme allait la quitter, car elle mourut, elle lui donna le nom de Fils de ma douleur (Bénoni), mais le père l'appela Benjamin.

Y acaeció que al salírsele el alma, (pues murió) llamó su nombre Benoni; mas su padre lo llamó Benjamín.

And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.

As her soul was departing (for she died), she named him Benoni, but his father named him Benjamin.

Rachel mourut donc et fut ensevelie sur le chemin de l'hippodrome d'Éphratha, aujourd'hui Bethléem.

Así murió Rachêl, y fué sepultada en el camino de Ephrata, la cual es Beth-lehem.

And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Beth-lehem.

Et Jacob dressa sur son sépulcre une colonne qu'on nomme encore aujourd'hui : Colonne du sépulcre de Rachel.

Y puso Jacob un título sobre su sepultura: este es el título de la sepultura de Rachêl hasta hoy.

And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day.

Jacob set up a pillar on her grave. The same is the Pillar of Rachel’s grave to this day.

Y partió Israel, y tendió su tienda de la otra parte de Migdaleder.

And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.

Or, tandis qu'Israël demeurait en cette terre, Ruben s'éloigna et dormit avec Balla, concubine de son père Jacob. Israël apprit le fait et l'eut en abomination. Or, les fils de Jacob étaient douze.

Y acaeció, morando Israel en aquella tierra, que fué Rubén y durmió con Bilha la concubina de su padre; lo cual llegó á entender Israel. Ahora bien, los hijos de Israel fueron doce:

And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

Fils de Lia : premier-né de Jacob, Ruben, puis Siméon, Lévi, Issachar et Zabulon ;

Fils de Rachel, Joseph et Benjamin

Los hijos de Rachêl: José, y Benjamín.

And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

The sons of Bilhah (Rachel’s servant): Dan and Naphtali.

Fils de Zelpha, servante de Lia, Gad et Aser : tels sont les fils de Jacob qui lui naquirent en la Mésopotamie Syrienne.

Y los hijos de Zilpa, sierva de Lea: Gad, y Aser. Estos fueron los hijos de Jacob, que le nacieron en Padan-aram.

And the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid; Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padan-aram.

The sons of Zilpah (Leah’s servant): Gad and Asher. These are the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan Aram.

Jacob alla ensuite en Membré, auprès d'Isaac son père, dans la ville de la plaine qui est Hébron, en la terre de Chanaan, où Abraham et Isaac furent passagers.

Y vino Jacob á Isaac su padre á Mamre, á la ciudad de Arba, que es Hebrón, donde habitaron Abraham é Isaac.

And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.

Jacob came to Isaac his father, to Mamre, to Kiriath Arba (which is Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac lived as foreigners.

Bientôt les jours que vécut Isaac formèrent cent-quatre-vingts ans.
