Il bâtit là un autel, et il appela ce lieu Dieu fort de Béthel, car c'est là que les êtres divins lui étaient apparus lorsqu'il fuyait de devant son frère.

Y edificó allí un altar, y llamó al lugar El-Beth-el, porque allí le había aparecido Dios, cuando huía de su hermano.

And he built there an altar, and called the place El-beth-el: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
