10Le dijo Dios: «Hasta hoy te llamaste Jacob (usurpador). Pero a partir de este momento ya no te llamarás Jacob, sino Israel (el que prevalece con Dios)». Así que Dios le cambió el nombre.

10And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

10God said to him, “Your name is Jacob. Your name shall not be Jacob any more, but your name will be Israel.” He named him Israel.
