Jakob aber erfuhr, dass er seine Tochter Dina geschändet habe; doch weil seine Söhne mit dem Vieh auf dem Felde waren, schwieg Jakob stille, bis sie heimkamen.

Y oyó Jacob que había Sichêm amancillado á Dina su hija: y estando sus hijos con su ganado en el campo, calló Jacob hasta que ellos viniesen.

And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his daughter: now his sons were with his cattle in the field: and Jacob held his peace until they were come.

Now Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah, his daughter; and his sons were with his livestock in the field. Jacob held his peace until they came.
