Ils leur dirent : Nous ne pourrons point faire cela, de donner notre soeur à un homme incirconcis ; car ce nous serait un opprobre.

Y dijéronles: No podemos hacer esto de dar nuestra hermana á hombre que tiene prepucio; porque entre nosotros es abominación.

And they said unto them, We cannot do this thing, to give our sister to one that is uncircumcised; for that were a reproach unto us:

and said to them, “We can’t do this thing, to give our sister to one who is uncircumcised; for that is a reproach to us.
