E i figliuoli di Giacobbe risposero a Sichem, e ad Hemor suo padre, con inganno, e lo trattennero con parole; perciocchè egli avea contaminata Dina, lor sorella.

Y respondieron los hijos de Jacob á Sichêm y á Hamor su padre con engaño; y parlaron, por cuanto había amancillado á Dina su hermana.

And the sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father deceitfully, and said, because he had defiled Dinah their sister:
