Génesis 33

Und Jakob erhob seine Augen und schaute, und siehe, Esau kam und vierhundert Mann mit ihm. Da verteilte er die Kinder zu Lea und zu Rahel und zu den beiden Mägden.

Y ALZANDO Jacob sus ojos miró, y he aquí venía Esaú, y los cuatrocientos hombres con él: entonces repartió él los niños entre Lea y Rachêl y las dos siervas.

And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids.

Und er stellte die Mägde mit ihren Kindern voran, und Lea mit ihren Kindern hernach, und Rahel mit Joseph zuletzt.

And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.

He put the servants and their children in front, Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph at the rear.

Er selbst aber ging ihnen voraus und verneigte sich siebenmal zur Erde, bis er nahe zu seinem Bruder kam.

Da lief ihm Esau entgegen, umarmte ihn, fiel ihm um den Hals und küßte ihn; und sie weinten.

And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

Da traten die Mägde herzu samt ihren Kindern und verneigten sich.

Y se llegaron las siervas, ellas y sus niños, é inclináronse.

Auch Lea kam herbei mit ihren Kindern, und sie verneigten sich; darnach kam Joseph mit Rahel herbei, und auch sie verneigten sich.

And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.

Und er fragte: Was willst du denn mit jenem ganzen Heer, dem ich begegnet bin? Jakob antwortete: Ich wollte Gnade finden in den Augen meines Herrn!

Y él dijo: ¿Qué te propones con todas estas cuadrillas que he encontrado? Y él respondió: El hallar gracia en los ojos de mi señor.

And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord.

Esau said, “What do you mean by all this company which I met?” Jacob said, “To find favor in the sight of my lord.”

Esau antwortete: Ich habe genug, mein Bruder; behalte, was du hast!

Y dijo Esaú: Harto tengo yo, hermano mío: sea para ti lo que es tuyo.

And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

Esau said, “I have enough, my brother; let that which you have be yours.”

Jakob antwortete: O nein! Habe ich Gnade vor deinen Augen gefunden, so nimm doch das Geschenk an von meiner Hand; denn deshalb habe ich dein Angesicht gesehen, als sähe ich Gottes Antlitz, und du warst so freundlich gegen mich!

Y dijo Jacob: No, yo te ruego, si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, toma mi presente de mi mano, pues que así he visto tu rostro, como si hubiera visto el rostro de Dios; y hazme placer.

And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.

Jacob said, “Please, no, if I have now found favor in your sight, then receive my present at my hand, because I have seen your face, as one sees the face of God, and you were pleased with me.

Nimm doch den Segen von mir an, der dir überbracht worden ist; denn Gott hat mich begnadigt und ich bin mit allem versehen. Also drang er in ihn, daß er es annahm.

Toma, te ruego, mi dádiva que te es traída; porque Dios me ha hecho merced, y todo lo que hay aquí es mío. Y porfió con él, y tomóla.

Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.

Please take the gift that I brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” He urged him, and he took it.

Und Esau sprach: Laß uns aufbrechen und gehen; ich will neben dir herziehen.

Y dijo: Anda, y vamos; y yo iré delante de ti.

And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.

Esau said, “Let’s take our journey, and let’s go, and I will go before you.”

Er aber antwortete: Mein Herr weiß, daß die Kinder noch zart sind; dazu habe ich säugende Schafe und Kühe bei mir; wenn sie einen einzigen Tag übertrieben würden, so würde mir die ganze Herde sterben.

Y él le dijo: Mi señor sabe que los niños son tiernos, y que tengo ovejas y vacas paridas; y si las fatigan, en un día morirán todas las ovejas.

And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.

Jacob said to him, “My lord knows that the children are tender, and that the flocks and herds with me have their young, and if they overdrive them one day, all the flocks will die.

Mein Herr gehe doch seinem Knechte voraus, ich aber will gemächlich hintennach ziehen, wie eben das Vieh vor mir her und die Kinder gehen mögen, bis ich zu meinem Herrn nach Seir komme.

Pase ahora mi señor delante de su siervo, y yo me iré poco á poco al paso de la hacienda que va delante de mí, y al paso de los niños, hasta que llegue á mi señor á Seir.

Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.

Please let my lord pass over before his servant, and I will lead on gently, according to the pace of the livestock that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir.”

Da sprach Esau: So will ich doch etliche von meinen Leuten bei dir lassen. Er sprach: Warum sollte ich solche Gunst finden vor den Augen meines Herrn!

Y Esaú dijo: Dejaré ahora contigo de la gente que viene conmigo. Y él dijo: ¿Para qué esto? halle yo gracia en los ojos de mi señor.

And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.

Esau said, “Let me now leave with you some of the people who are with me.” He said, “Why? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.”

Also kehrte Esau am gleichen Tag wieder nach Seir zurück.

Así se volvió Esaú aquel día por su camino á Seir.

Jakob aber brach auf nach Sukkot und baute sich daselbst ein Haus und errichtete für seine Herden Schutzhütten; daher wurde der Ort Sukkot genannt.

Y Jacob se partió á Succoth, y edificó allí casa para sí, é hizo cabañas para su ganado: por tanto llamó el nombre de aquel lugar Succoth.

And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.

Und Jakob kam wohlbehalten bis zur Stadt Sichem, die im Lande Kanaan liegt, nachdem er aus Mesopotamien gekommen war; und er lagerte sich der Stadt gegenüber.

Und er kaufte das Grundstück, auf welchem er sein Zelt aufschlug, von der Hand der Kinder Hemors, des Vaters Sichems, um hundert Kesitha

Y compró una parte del campo, donde tendió su tienda, de mano de los hijos de Hamor, padre de Sichêm, por cien piezas de moneda.

und errichtete daselbst einen Altar; den nannte er «Der starke Gott Israels».
