32Darum essen die Kinder Israel nicht die Spannader, die über dem Hüftgelenk ist, bis auf den heutigen Tag, weil er das Hüftgelenk Jakobs, die Spannader, angerührt hat.

32Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the sinew that shrank.
World English Bible
32Therefore the children of Israel don’t eat the sinew of the hip, which is on the hollow of the thigh, to this day, because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the sinew of the hip.
