35Et elle dit à son père: Que mon seigneur ne se fâche point de ce que je ne puis me lever devant lui; car j'ai ce que les femmes ont coutume d'avoir. Et il chercha; mais il ne trouva point les théraphim.

35And she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.
World English Bible
35She said to her father, “Don’t let my lord be angry that I can’t rise up before you; for I’m having my period.” He searched, but didn’t find the teraphim.
